Ok so this is a bit old but I’m still pretty pumped about the Beekman Boys winning The Amazing Race. I was rooting for them from the start. They played the race with honesty, perseverance, and humility…not to mention a little bit of sass. They were totally the underdogs but never ever gave up. Just…yay. :)

We were thrilled to welcome Brent Ridge and Josh Kilmer-Purcell to the studio this week. Known best as The Beekman Boys–named after their storied farm in upstate New York–this super-cute couple won last season’s The Amazing Race on CBS and they share tales and behind-the-scenes secrets from their trip around the world.
Plus, we chat with the boys about their new campaign to help struggling farmers by selling their own heirloom pasta sauce; how there MIGHT be a big wedding at the farm this summer; how you can go visit them in Sharon Springs, NY; how proud they are that their reality show has successfully portrayed a gay couple without all the stereotypical drama, feathers, and gay bars.

Where oh where is the show you love to hate and hate to love? Why hasn’t there been a new episode since our August 1 show that we taped at sea with RSVP?
Well, Dale, Scott & Steve are on a summer hiatus. It was unplanned and unexpected, but sometimes life throws you curve balls.
Quite suddenly, and all at the same time, Dale got a job modeling in Paris, Scott won the lottery and is on an around the world yachting trip, and Steve is now a croupier in Monte Carlo.*
The boys may or may not return as a threesome to the Secret Underground Studio in the Heart of Washington, DC this fall…but the show–in one form or another–will continue. We hope you’ll stand by while we craft our next chapter.
In the meantime, we have hundreds of hours of back episodes for you to enjoy, we’ll be updating ourFacebook page regularly, and we hope you are enjoying what is left of your summer.

Dale and Scott are back with Part Two of the episodes they taped in front of live studio audiences on board Holland America’s MS Oosterdam as a part of RSVP Vacation’s Summer Alaska cruise last week.
We were so thrilled to be invited back for the third time and this episode is so choke full of RSVP entertainment goodness…well…we were just on top of the world.
First up, we welcome actress and singer Missi Pyle. This amazing woman has tackled everything. From television shows like Friends and Two and a Half Men, to movies like Dodgeball, The Artist, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Broadway shows like Boeing, Boeing…she’s now focused on her own brand of music, which she calls desert country rock.
We were so thrilled to chat with this triple threat about song, acting, and getting married with a grizzly bear as the best man. Really!
Plus, she’s gorgeous!
Next up, a family friend of Scott’s comes up to the stage in the ship’s Queen’s Lounge, the wonderfully talented Michael Holmes. Michael is an amazing impressionist who channels our favorite icons including Judy Garland who is the star of his signature show, The Judy Show, which he’s performed all over the world for the last decade.
Last but NOT least, it’s the absolutely amazing RSVP powerhouse duo of Amy Armstrong and Freddy Allen. Amy & Freddy have been on every RSVP cruise (except one) for the past 15 years…that’s 55 cruises! And audiences demand more and more.
Combining amazing vocals, spectacular piano playing, and outrageous comedy, this duo is a must see. Standards to silly songs, you’ll be on your feet when Amy and Freddy command the room. We can’t wait to get them to DC again…we know they’ll be a huge hit in our home town.

Dale and Scott were so thrilled to be invited back onboard an RSVP Vacation‘s cruise–our second this year! This time, we sailed from Seattle to the great state of Alaska with 2,000 of our new best friends, mostly gays, a handful of lesbians, a few transsexuals, and a smattering of breeders, who all seemed to have a blast in this most breath-taking corner of our country. While sailing toward Juneau, we taped this episode in front of a live studio audience in the Queen’s Lounge on the great Holland America Oosterdam. Our guests include two beautiful men, a real-life couple, actors and singer Michael Arden, who currently plays Patrick on FX’s Anger Management, and Andy Mientus who is best known as Kyle on NBC’s Smash.

Justin Luke, our Gay-on-the-Ground in New York City, caught up with the ginger-haired entertainer who turned many a head at the Tony’s a few weeks ago (his boyfriend is Kinky Boots‘ choreographer Jerry Mitchell). He’s currently in the cast of NYC’s Naked Boys Singing, he’s performing at this weekend’s Broadway Baresevent (help support his Strip-a-thon), and he’s about to tackle a touring show AND a part in a movie.
