I think the best joy, regardless of “promotions” and whatnot, is coming into my workplace, even on my day offs…and people are always eager to see me and say hello. No matter what, there’s always a warm atmosphere. And I think that’s probably the key reason I love coming to work everyday. People go out of their way to even say bye to you…it’s such a emotionally beneficial place.

I went to Wegmans on my lunch break to grab some lunch and a turkey for Thanksgiving. There were so many associates all over the store. with my knowledge in retail I figured it had to be a corporate visi. I asked my cashier if they were having a corporate visit, and she said yes “that’s Danny right there”.. Grocery store royalty right in front of me!
