Title: Mr. & Mr. Kyousuke-Youji
Plot: A married couple of 20 years learn about each other's most hidden secrets. Mr. Katou Youji and Mr. Iwaki Kyousuke have their boring marriage life turned upside down when one day changed their perspective of each other.
One morning, like every other morning, Iwaki wakes up at precisely 6 am. He turns his alarm off, from his side of the bed, gets up to stretch a bit before getting up out the bed and walks to the bathroom. Once his feet were planted to the ground he began his daily routine. Wake up, shower, then cook breakfast. It was like this every morning. A constant cycle after 20 years of marriage. Never changing, never breaking. An hour later, Katou wakes up at 7 on the dot. He turns his alarm off, on his side of the bed, then gets up to stretch before getting up to take his morning shower.
While Katou was taking his shower upstairs, downstairs in the kitchen, Iwaki is cooking breakfast. So by the time he came down stairs his plate was made and a fresh pot brewed by the stove. He comes around the counter, takes the coffee cup Iwaki had gotten out for him, pours himself a cup of the freshly brewed pot. He walks by and grabs his plate but kisses his cheek on the way out.
"Morning." says Iwaki, detached.
Katou sits down at the table and begins to eat.
"Did you sleep okay?" Katou asks in the same detached manner.
Katou quickly finishes eating and stands up to walks over to Iwaki and kisses him.
"Have a good day, I love you."
He leans up against the counter top and waited for the sound of his car pulling out of the garage and driving off. While he was alone he took his time to clean up the kitchen before heading downstairs to the basement. He turned the lights on, even without them he knew where he going in the hardly lit room. He approaches the towering metal stand and looks up and down for the out of place rotary phone. His eyes land on the out of place object and puts in his secret number until a loud click went off. He looks over his shoulder to the right and watches as the workshop mat lifted up out of the floor. Underneath the mat was a tower of various weapons. He grabs a few things off the tower then presses a button at the top to lower it back into the ground.
After driving for a while to the outskirts of the city, Katou finally arrives at his place of work. A rundown, rickety warehouse. He parked right out in front of the doors, jumped out, and walked inside. The inside of the warehouse is completely empty with nothing but a broken elevator. He approaches the doors then pressing the only lit button on the console. This caused the broken doors to open revealing a dark hallway. Almost like they have been functioning for years. He steps through onto a moving conveyor belt. While it moved, bright, thin red lights turned on and moved up and down his body. He stood completely still while the lights scanned him. Once the lights reached the top of his head the lights turn off leaving him in complete darkness.
"Scan complete." A robotic female voice spoke to him once the scan finished.
The conveyor belt brought him to a set of metal automated doors. That opened to reveal a hidden office within the warehouse. Complete with computers, monitors, surveillance and other electronics. An atmosphere completely different from the rest of the building. Katou steps out into the clean world and is met by a handful of people.
"Good morning, sir." says a female technician.
"Good morning," he responds while walking with her and the others to their station.
Katou walks first into the room then takes a seat at the head of the table. The others with him fill the other seats around the table. Once the last person is sat down, the automatic doors lock, the glass walls black out right as a screen comes down. The overhead projector comes on and a prerecorded video message plays. The man in the video, the face hidden and voice altered, relayed his message to Katou and his team. From the message they received their next assignment; the who, when, and where as usual. Once the video ends, the projector turns off, and the glass windows clear up. Katou and his team go over the other details that were not covered in the message. Katou's assistant pulls out a file from her stack and hands it to him.
"This is rest of the information that I copied for you this morning."
Katou takes it from her and flashes her a quick smile. "Thank you, I'll look back over every thing once I get the chance."
When he looks down he notices the name of the assignment, Wildfire, on the tab of the file.
"Huh, interesting name." he thinks to himself.
He opens the files and skims through it.
"Also I have prepared you some new weaponry to take with on this mission."
Katou looks up at her and smiles. "Have I ever told you how lucky I am to have you as an assistant."
Katou chuckles "Well I mean it." Katou puts the file away and stands up.
"Now, I better get started on this, anything else for me?"
"Alright, thank you, I'll see you later then," Katou says to her as he leaves the room.
Right in the heart of Corporate Avenue, Iwaki parks his car in a parking lot structure. He takes the elevator down to street level from where he parked his car. He struts through the morning traffic to the tall office building on the other side. He walks through the automated slide doors into the large open lobby. Then passes the front desk and the free accessed elevators. Around the corner was a single elevator only accessible via card key.
Already prepared and ready, Iwaki takes his card and swipes then waited for the light to turn green. The bell dings and the door open letting him step inside. After the doors closed he presses a combination of numbers on the console. The secret combination allows him access to the 55th floor. While on his ride up, the lights cut out but he does not panic. A low blue light appears on the walls then the platform he stood upon began to rotate. While he slowly rotated, the blue lights scanned his body head to toe and in reverse order.
Once the scanning process is over, the platform stops rotating and the blue lights vanish. The lights turn back on right as the doors open and is greeted by his assistant. He bows his head then greets him.
He stops out the elevator and walks to his office space with Albert close behind.
"Anything new this morning?"
"Yes, sir. I left copies on your desk."
Iwaki approaches his desk but takes his coat off first before taking a seat. He looks at the file in front of him with the title "Wildfire" writing on the tab. He reads the contents inside and gets all the information he needed about the new assignment.
*************************
Later in the evening, Iwaki is at home before Katou, in the kitchen cooking dinner. While he was cooking he was reading through his mission file. When he hears the car pulling up into the drive way, he hid the file in a hidden slot in the utensil drawer. Before getting out of the car, he grabs his wedding ring from his glove compartment and puts it back. Once he had everything with him, he gets out of the car and heads inside.
Katou makes his way to the kitchen and smiles when he sees Iwaki.
"How was your day?" he asks, taking his off.
"Boring as usual," he answers, lying through his teeth. "How about yours?"
He shrugs. "It was okay, nothing really interesting happened."
"Well, dinner should be ready in about an hour."
Katou walks over to him and grabs his hips. "We could do a lot in an hour," he whispers in his ear then kisses his neck.
"I have dinner to cook," he says, uninterested. "why don't you grab a beer and watch tv. It shouldn't be long."
Without saying another word, Katou steps away and walks over to the refrigerator. He grabs himself a beer, like Iwaki told him to, and walked to the living room. All while having a look of defeat on his face. Begrudgingly, he threw himself onto the couch and watches whatever came on the screen. For the next hour, the entire house filled with silence. Excluding the playing TV in the background.
When Dinner was ready, Iwaki made the table in the dining room before calling Katou.
"Dinner is ready," he calls from the dining room.
Katou turns the TV off then gets off the couch to walk into the kitchen, beer still in hand. He sits down at the table and begins to eat. Iwaki takes his seat then joins him in eating.
"This is good Iwaki," Katou comments before taking another bite.
They continue to eat in silence then later Katou cleans off the table while Iwaki cleaned the dishes. After he cleans the table he comes into the kitchen behind Iwaki.
"Do you need help with those?"
"Yes, I got it from here."
"Okay...I'm gonna go take a shower then."
Katou turns to leave and heads upstairs to the bathroom. After cleaning up, Iwaki heads upstairs to the bedroom. He starts to takes his shirt off as he walks into the room. After Katou finishes his shower, he walks out into the bedroom dressed in his pajamas. When he walks in he finds Iwaki already in bed asleep. He gets in next to him and holds him from behind. Feeling his heat, Iwaki grabs his arm and pushing them while he slept. Katou sighs and rolls over on his side, with his back facing Iwaki.
The next day, Iwaki wakes up earlier than normal but does his regular routine. He takes his shower, gets his things ready for his mission, and cooks breakfast. Before he leaves he makes Katou a plate and places it in the microwave with a note attached.
Later, Katou's alarm goes off during it's normal time of 7. He reaches over to turn it off. But instead of getting up like normal he decides to lay in bed for a couple more minutes. After his rebellious moment, he gets and gets ready for the day. Disregarding his morning shower, he walks downstairs to the kitchen. He takes notice that the kitchen appeared the way is always does. So, this gave him the idea that Iwaki did not cook for him came to mind.
"Guess I'm making my own breakfast."
Aggravated about the thought of Iwaki mistreating him he walked around the counter. He stomped and flounced to the stove but his eye caught something. In the microwave above he sees an object within. He opens it and sees a plate Iwaki left for him.
"So he does care?" he scorns.
He removes the plate with force causing the note on top to flutter off. His eyes caught the note falling so he turned to watch it hit the floor. He sets the plate down on the counter to bend down and pick up the note. As he was coming back up he read the note.
"Sorry that I was not here when you woke up but I had to leave for a trip."
Katou rolls his eyes then crumbles up the note.
He takes the note and tosses it into the trash. He picks up his plate, takes it over to the table, and sits down. But instead of eating, he stares at the plate. Blank and hollow as he thought about the night before and every other night before that. Does he want a divorce would that make him happy? He thought aloud.
The negative thoughts kept running through his mind caused him to lose his appetite. He picks the plate back up and throws the untouched food away in the trash can. Tossing the plate in the sink before going back upstairs to get ready for the day.
The next day, a plane lands on an airstrip out in the middle of the wilderness. Miles away from the nearest populated area. The small cargo plane lands letting Iwaki step out to meet up with his team that was already there. As he's walking out his team approaches him.
"Nice to see you made it here safely, how was the trip?" One of them asks.
"Boring. Do you have the location of the target for me?"
He takes the file out of his bag and hands it to Iwaki. Iwaki looks at the file in his hand then back at the agent.
"Yes?" he says, looking confused.
"When I asked do you have the location of the target I want you to tell me. Not hand me another file. Do I make myself clear?"
The intense glare in his eye sent chills down the man's spine. Quickly he adverts his eyes down to the ground and bows.
"Yes sir, I'm sorry, I'll keep that in mind."
"Good. Now answer my question."
"Yes about 30 miles west from here."
"You're welcome, we can make our way over there as soon as you're ready."
They walk to the awaited SUV and load everything inside while Iwaki sat alone in the backseat. When everyone was ready to go they get in the van behind and wait for the SUV to lead the way. On the ride to the rendezvous point, Iwaki closes his eyes for a moment and thinks about Katou. Whilst thinking of him, he also thought of how he has been treating him lately. He knew that it was unfair of him. 20 years, a shared bed, and home together. In the beginning that's all he wanted. A home, a stable job, and a sensible relationship but it wasn't enough anymore for him.
About an hour they arrive at the location and begin setting up for the stakeout. Iwaki stays in that location while the van that followed behind parked two blocks away. Iwaki sat around waiting for the target to appear in the target zone. But target wouldn't arrive for another ten minutes so he waited.
5 miles away from his location, Katou is riding a motorcycle to the same location spot. Hearing the roar of the engine in the distance, Iwaki could see him in the distance. He takes out his binoculars to see if he was a friendly or enemy. But due to his face being covered he could not make a proper identification. Through his ear piece, he receives a message from headquarters. Informing him that he was an agent from a competing agency. Just as receives this message, Iwaki had pulled out a large case from under his feet. He gets on the floor as he opens the case. Inside is a disassembled sniper rifle. He quickly assembled the weapon, loaded it, then got into position.
Looking through the scope he waits for the right opportunity. He held his breath, placed his finger on the trigger, then silence. For a brief moment, he had the perfect shot but then the alarm set on his computer went off. The tiny beeps it emitted distracted him causing him to miss by a few inches. The bullet hit the dirt behind Katou with the bullet only grazing his shoulder. Katou grabs his shoulder as he winces in pain. He looks up and in the distance sees a run down shake. Being the only structure within a close radius he comes to the idea that's where he was shot from. He gets off the bike and opens the large case mounted on the back.
All the while, Iwaki has put down the sniper rifle to check on his computer. From the corner of his eye he could see something move in the distance which draws his attention. He looks over his shoulder and sees the man he shot walking forward carrying a large object beside him. He gets a better look and realizes that the object was a weapon. Katou drops to his knee, brings the weapon up, and rests it on his shoulder. He looks the scope and watches as Iwaki hightails it right as he pulls the trigger. The shot caused a loud explosion that caught the attention of their target who turned and fled.
Knowing that he had ruined the mission all for a shot that grazed him, he hoped that at least he killed whoever he shot at. He puts the weapon back in it's case then jumps back on the bike to assess the damages. He parks a few feet away from the burned structure and walked the rest of the way. While he's looked around finding burned equipment but no body. Then he hears the sound of an engine starting so he quickly rushed outside to see Iwaki escaping in a getaway bike.
Defeated about him getting away from the destruction he turns to leave but his feet find a solid object. He lifts his foot up and notices that it a charred computer. He picks it up and examines the exterior. The plastic parts melted but Katou hoped that the interior still functioned.
*************************
Iwaki returned to his base with his team behind. Enraged and furious, he cursed out everyone within earshot. A member of his team tried to patch him up but he was constantly moving around.
"Who the hell was that?! I want a photo id of that son of a bitch in the next three hours!"
"We're working on it sir, but please calm down you're injured."
"I know you're angry, but you can't do much in your condition right now."
"Just a few scratches and cuts."
One of the members comes up to Iwaki with a cell phone and hands it to him.
"Mr. Kyousuke, a call came in for you."
Iwaki snatches the arm away from his hands and brings the device up to his ear. The person on the other end was his boss.
"I'm sorry sir, I have failed the mission. There was another agent on the scene."
"I don't want to hear any excuses. You have 48 hours to contain this situation."
The phone call ends and Iwaki hands the phone back.
"I need all the video footage you obtained." he said, in a calm tone.
"Yes, sir! We'll get that right away."
Katou has traveled back home but instead of heading home he heads to the warehouse. He takes the charred computer to the technician.
"What the hell did you do to it?" the technician asks him.
"Not important, I just need whatever you can recover off of it."
"Well, you're lucky because I may be able to do that for ya."
"I know," he says. "Now this shouldn't take long."
He puts the burned plastic on his desk and connects it with his device. Although he could not access any of the files he was able to access the IP address.
"Well, I may have found you something."
"And what will that tell me?"
"The location of where this computer came from. By converting the IP address to an actual address I can tell you who the owner is."
"Fantastic, how long will that take?"
A few keystrokes later an address appears on the screen. He grabs a paper and writes down the address then hands Katou the sheet.
Katou gets a glimpse of the address but takes a second glance. When he realized that the address had some similar name he decided to travel to this location. He left the building and got in his car to travel to this address. When he arrived in the city he quickly realized where he was going. He parks on the sidewalk outside this tall office building. He jumps out the car and walks inside the building. Right at the door, a column stood with department names and heads then addresses. Katou scanned the column up and down until his eyes set on the address. But when he saw who the department head was he could not believe his eyes.
Iwaki Kyousuke, Marketing & Publishing.
No, he thought, this had to be wrong but it wasn't. He takes his phone out from his coat pocket and calls his [Iwaki's] office. The phone rings and rings until Iwaki's assistant answered the phone.
"Marketing & Publishing, how may I help you?"
"Hi, Katou," she says, with a debonair smile. "How may I help you?"
"I just need to know what time dinner will be."
She puts him on mute then gets up to retrieve his answer. She walks to Iwaki's office and found him still examining the video footage.
"Sir, your husband is on the phone. He'd like to know what time dinner will be."
"At seven," he says, distracted by the video. "As usual."
"I'll let him know, sir."
After she leaves, Iwaki pauses the video at a random part of the video that catches his attention. He stares intensely at the screen at the man's face right as he takes his mask down. Even though the video footage was not high quality what he could see gave him enough hints. The conclusion he came to weighted heavily on him.
The assistant comes back to the phone and takes Katou off hold.
"Yes, he said that dinner is at seven."
Later that day after the couple has had time to comprehend the ugly truth about each other they come up with plans. Plans to confront each other with no knowledge of each other's skill set. Ready and terrified, Katou pulls up into the driveway and parks in front of the garage instead of inside. He uses his stealth as he walks inside the house. Looking around every corner and over his shoulder with caution. Even though there was no sign of Iwaki he still held his guard up at all times.
He walks into the kitchen with no sight of Iwaki then comes into contact with him as he turns the corner. Iwaki stood at the entry way to the dining room, a beer in one hand and a wine bottle in the other. But what frightened him was the painted complacent smile.
The affectionate tone and appearance gave Katou an uneasy feeling. Iwaki comes closer, handing him the beer as he leans in and gives him a kiss. Not on the cheek, on the lips.
"It was fine, how was your trip?" he asks in an apprehensive tone.
"I didn't get what I wanted but I'll get it next time," he says boldly. "I always do."
"Well it must've gone somewhat okay, you're acting...different."
"While I was away I got to thinking about us and I thought about my behavior towards you lately. So I decided to make it up to you tonight."
"Oh? And how do you intend to do that?"
"That's a surprise." he says with a coy smile.
"Then I'll be good and wait patiently."
Iwaki walks past him to the kitchen leaving him alone in the dining room. Once he was gone Katou whips the artificial smile away and inspects the beer. He runs it past his nose getting a whiff of beer. Still full of suspicion, he walks over to the table and notices that it was all set up and decorated. He takes a seat at the table right as Iwaki walks into the room with a large bowl food and sets it down on the table. As he is putting the bowl down he notices that the beer was still full.
"Is your beer not cold enough?" he asks.
Iwaki takes his beer and drinks some of it. "Seems fine to me."
He puts the drink down and starts to make Katou's plate then makes his. He takes his plate and sits down at the other end of the table. While they ate their dinner, their eyes were constantly on each other. Watching each other's movements, waiting for the perfect opportunity. After a few moments of shifty eye movements, Iwaki drinks his glass of wine. Katou, taking notice, jumps out of his chair.
"Here, let me get you some more wine."
Katou takes his glass and pours him another glass. And while he slowly pours his glass, he still keeps his eyes on Iwaki. Iwaki also keeps his eyes on him as well. When the glass was half full, he puts the glass down, taking his eyes off of Iwaki for a moment. Iwaki adverts his eyes down to this plate. And in this moment, Katou lets the bottle slip out of his hand and in a split second Iwaki catches it. Right before it touched the ground.
Iwaki's heart dropped, Katou's blood froze, and the room went silent. Their eyes meet once again when their fears become a reality. Iwaki lets go of the bottle letting it crash and slip on the rug. The crashing of the bottle catches their attention from each other. Quickly they rush out the room in different directions.
"I'll get it." Iwaki shouts.
"No, it was my fault I'll do it."
When Katou got some distance between him and Iwaki he gets his hands on a weapon. He goes to one of his many hidden weapon stashes and hunts Iwaki down. He creeps around the house to hunt Iwaki down. While he walked around each corner he calls out to him.
"Iwaki! My love, where are you?"
Then he hears the sound of a car backing up out of the garage.
He runs outside right as Iwaki drives off.
Katou runs across the street and through his neighbors' lawns to cut Iwaki off the next street over. In the meantime, Iwaki is driving down the street trying to comprehend what he had done.
"Stupid," he mutters. "You fucking twit."
Katou jumps a fence right as Iwaki is driving the street. He runs out into the street but trips on the curb. When he lands on the asphalt, his finger pulls the trigger. With the bullet going in the direction of Iwaki. Iwaki slams on the break from the bullet hitting his windshield near his head. Seeing the bullet hole and the fallen Katou all the emotions within him became clear. Katou, scared for himself, jumps up and stands in the middle of the street. He stands before the bull attempting to reason with him.
"Iwaki listen, I'm sorry okay? Let's just go back inside and enjoy our evening."
Although the headlight partially blinded Katou, he could see the red daggers. While looking at Katou, he takes his foot off the brake and slams on the accelerator.
"Damn it, Iwaki! I'm trying to talk to you. Just calm the hell down."
Katou's yelling failed to land on Iwaki's deaf ears as the barreled towards him. Right as the car gets closer, Katou jumps onto the hood but Iwaki kept driving.
Iwaki swerves the car causing Katou to sail off the hood onto the street.
Katou laid on the street and watched at Iwaki drove off. Disappearing into the night. Not a single trace to left to search.
That same night, Katou gets his team together to come up with a plan to infiltrate Iwaki's office. After many arduous hours of planning, Katou and his team take a crack at their plan the next morning. Split up into two teams, Katou and the ground team, and the surveillance team. The second team laid low in the parking lot across the street from the building. While the other team disguised themselves as maintenance men. His team distracts the security and the receptionist while he hacked the elevator.
"Let's hope this code is correct."
Through the earpiece, Katou receives advice from the tech across the street.
"Make sure you put the code in precise or else you'll alert them."
"Just reminding you, sir."
"Now hopefully no one has to pull a gun out."
Eventually, Katou access the elevator then sets up the rest of his gear before the doors closed. As he rides up, the elevator starts to break down. The lights flicker and the steel trap hangs high between empty space.
"My apologies.," said an automated voice from the speakers. "We're experiencing technical difficulties. So don't worry, everything will be alright."
"Are you comfortable?" The voice says in a seductive tone. Hearing this tone, Katou realizes who it was behind the voice.
"Is there anything I can do for you...sir?" asked the voice, slowed and seductive.
"I know that's you Iwaki."
"How's the arm?" he asks.
"Well, it doesn't feel great."
"Shouldn't have shot me."
"Let me make it up to you later."
"You can make it up for me right now."
"How about dropping dead?"
"I didn't expect for you to comply."
Katou chuckled. "Sorry to disappoint you."
"You never cease to do so. Twenty years and you've been nothing but disappointing."
"If I was such a terrible husband then why did you marry me?"
"Now if I told you that would make me a terrible role model to my crew. I have a reputation to uphold, unlike you."
"You've always been a bitch you know that?"
"Oh, darling, you have no idea," he says, folding his arms across his chest, "Now I'm going to give you two choices. One, you agree to skip town, or Two, I blow the cable and you drop to your fiery death?"
"And leave my darling wife behind?"
Taken back by Katou's sudden, quick response the placid look faded away.
"Neither of those sound fun honestly."
"I'm giving you to the count of five."
"Only five seconds, that's a bit cold."
"If I knew you were such a cold hearted bitch I wouldn't have married you."
"You said that you liked that about me? 4."
"So am I such a bad husband you have to kill me?"
"2. Well here's your last warning. Leave now or die."
"Can't we put all this behind us and go home?"
And without warning, the guy at the computer presses the "ENTER" button and the video feed cuts out. Shocked and caught off guard, Iwaki grabs the computer monitor then looks at the man to his left.
"Wasn't the goal to kill him?"
"Which I thought meant you wanted me to push the button."
The elevator crashed down from the 55th floor to the basement floor. The loud crash shook the building; the glass windows and its metal structure. Alarms blare and the employees are evacuated from the building. While the crowd moved through the doors, Katou's team leaves as well. But what no one, not even Iwaki knew, was that Katou wasn't in the destroyed elevator. He was in one of the other elevators using a camera to project himself in the other elevator.
"Well, that could've been bad."
While the building cleared out, the agency destroy all evidence. Deleting files on computers and hard drives. And flash burning files in a portable furnace. At the same time, Katou crawled through the vents to make his way to the secret office of the 55th floor. After everything and destroyed, all the agents make their way out through the windows. They use custom zip lines fly across from their office to the building next to them. One by one they were all gone, leaving Iwaki behind. Right as Katou comes bursting out of the vents over the office, Iwaki is half way across the zip line. He rushes over to the window to see him land onto the roof of the building across.
"And he left me to die in an elevator."
Later that night, Iwaki was out in the city. Dining at a high-class restaurant, sitting at a table in the corner, slowly going through a bottle of wine. He holds the glass up to his face to hide the single tear from the other guests. He cried, not because he had failed, but because he had lost the only man he ever loved. Reminiscing about the years that he had sacrificed after 20 years of building them. While he's caught up in his own head, Katou comes up behind him, grabs the wine bottle and fills Iwaki's glass. Iwaki smiles then wipes the tear away with his fingers.
"I thought you were dead."
Iwaki smirks then puts the glass down. "I've been wanting you to say that for a long time. It be appropriate for you to say here since this is where you proposed."
Katou takes a seat at the table at the other end.
"You know Iwaki it seems we have a problem. You want me dead."
"It's not like you were given the same orders to have me killed."
"Then what should we do? Get in a shoot out right here?"
"I was never one for public execution."
Katou stands up out of his chair, stands up in next to Iwaki with his hand out. "Then dance with me."
"You never liked to dance."
"That was just a cover story, my love."
Iwaki takes his hand as he gets up from the chair.
"What else did you lie to me about?"
"Let's not get into that right now."
"Let's just focus on dancing right now."
They dance for a while and Iwaki takes this time to concocts a plan. Iwaki buries his face into Katou's should and quietly sobs. His cries convince Katou to believe them.
He pulls away and runs away to the bathroom while covering his face with his hands. Not convinced by his false tears, watches Iwaki enter the bathroom. And mere seconds later, everyone inside, leave the bathroom. Everyone except Iwaki.
Tired of waiting, he walks inside the bathroom. When he looks around he doesn't find anyone around. And while's looking, he gets sucker punched in the face by Iwaki. While he's distracted by the pain, Iwaki leaves the bathroom. When he finally comes to he hears the sounds of beeping near by
He runs out of the bathroom right as the bomb goes off. The other guest, scream and cry out in terror. They all run out of the restaurant and Iwaki makes his escape with the rest of them. Katou sees him leaving and tries to make his way towards him. He makes it through the crowd outside but doesn't see him anywhere.
Katou gets into his car and races back to the house in search for Iwaki. After driving above the speed limits, he makes it down the street of his house right as Iwaki is getting out of his car.
"He's really intent on killing me."
Iwaki sees Katou down the street and rushes inside the house. Katou gets out of his car and chases after him. When he gets to the front door he finds it to be locked.
Katou kicks at the door eventually break[ing] [it down.]. He takes his gun out and [begins to look] around the house [in search of] Iwaki.
"Why did we have to get such a big house? He could be anywhere."
He looks around the house for a while until Iwaki shoots at him through the wall from the stairs. Katou rolls across the floor with the bullets passing above him through the wall. Iwaki stops shooting and takes a moment to listen.
"You still alive, baby?" he asks, through the wall.
"Haven't you learned that I'm hard to kill?"
Iwaki shoots through the wall again but this time in the direction of where Katou's voice. Katou does his best to dodge the bullets then shoots back at him. Iwaki runs around the corner and shoots at Katou from down the hall. Katou turns around and shoots at him as well while he ran for cover.
The clip empties but Iwaki keeps pulling the trigger. He grabs a new clip from his coat pocket and reloads his gun. "Well, I have always loved a challenge. Something that has been missing in our farce of a marriage."
"The last 20 years have been pretty boring."
Iwaki creeps closer to Katou's position.
"You mean the last 15 years. You're forgetting why I married you in the first place."
"Then why don't you remind me?"
"It's something you haven't been delivering in the bedroom for years."
"Not for lack of trying."
"Should've tried harder."
"Nothing I could ever do would make you change your mind about killing me."
"Sorry but I've never leave loose ends."
Iwaki turns the corner and doesn't find Katou behind the wall.
"Although I'm not young enough for a second marriage I think I'll make do?"
"You don't want to marry someone you actually love and makes you happy?"
"I was happy until you tried to blow me up with a rocket launcher."
"I had my orders just like you do," Katou says from behind one of the other walls.
"I did too and you fucked it up."
"My orders were to kill you and I can't do that if I'm dead."
Eventually, Iwaki discovers Katou's location, sneaks up on him, and points his gun at the back of his head.
Katou drops his gun "Gonna kill me now?"
Iwaki pulls the trigger right as Katou moves his head and attacks Iwaki. Smacking the gun out of his hands and punching him in the face. Iwaki groans in pain as he takes a step back. Katou grabs him and slams him against the wall. Iwaki groans in pain then tries to break free from Katou's grasp. He puts his hands on Katou's shoulders, pulls him closer, and headbutts him in the face. When the opportunity arose, he spin kicks him into the dining room. Katou groans loudly in pain as he crashes into the table.
"The next time you put your hands on me, I'll break your wrists."
Katou regains some of his strength and slowly picks himself back up. Iwaki smirks then begins to laugh.
"This is fun for you isn't it?"
"I haven't had this much fun in years."
Katou goes over to him and punches him, once again, in the face. Iwaki lashes out due to the sudden punch. He jumps at him, pushing him against the dining table, grabs his head, and repeatedly slams his head into the hard wood. Katou struggles to break free and brings his hands up to grab Iwaki's neck and chokes him. Iwaki slams his head harder in order to stop him. Katou groans each time his head makes contact with the wood of the table.
Iwaki stops smashing his head in and begins to repeatedly to punch him in the nose. Katou let's go of his neck and punches him in the jaw. Iwaki caught off guard by the pain, is lifted up and slammed into the wall. He cries out from his spine colliding with the dry wall. Katou takes this opportunity to slam his head into the wall.
"Yeah, doesn't feel great does it?"
Iwaki grits his teeth and head butts him again allowing him to escape from his grasp.
"Fuck!" Katou cries out in pain.
"I bet that hurt more," he says, with a smirk.
Iwaki dashes out of the room into the kitchen but then is closely followed by Katou. Iwaki reaches for the hanging knives but is stopped by Katou grabbing his hand and pulling him away.
Katou grabs his hair and slams his face into the counter in front of them. Iwaki cries out but then violently elbows him in the side. Katou steps back and groans in pain. Iwaki grabs the back of Katou's head and slams his face into the counter so that he could reach for the knife again. Katou jabs him in the stomach with his elbow. Iwaki still grabs the knife in time and tries to stab Katou. Katou quickly moves out of the way and grabs Iwaki's wrist to stop him.
"Why won't you just die?"
"Well, when you try to kill someone they tend to fight back."
Iwaki kicks Katou in the crotch. Katou lets go of him and as he falls to his knees grabbing his crotch while he groaned loudly in pain.
"How about that for fighting back?"
Iwaki drops the knife and runs to the living room to grab one his stashed weapons. Katou regains his strength as he stands back up, picks up the knife Iwaki had dropped and follows him. Right as Iwaki grabs a weapon, Katou tackles him to the ground. He pins him down and looks down at him with a smirk on his face. Iwaki smiles as well then knees him in the crotch again to escape from underneath him. Katou groans in pain loudly in pain. "God damn it..."
Iwaki crawled for the gun at the other end of the couch. Katou crawls after him and reaches out for his legs. Iwaki tries to kick him off. Katou gets a grip on his legs and pulls him towards him.
Katou flips Iwaki over on his back and punches him in the face. Iwaki groans in pain. Katou punches him again but harder. In between one of the punches, Iwaki spits his blood at Katou's face to distract him. Katou wipes the blood off his face.
"You really think that's gonna work?"
"Hasn't stopped me before."
Iwaki kicks him in the face and jumps for the gun. Katou glares at him as his nose starts to bleed. Iwaki flips over and shoots at Katou but he rolls out of the way.
Katou stands up and throws the knife at Iwaki but Iwaki dodges it.
"Eventually one of us is gonna die, why don't you give up now?"
Iwaki stands back up and points the gun at Katou. "Why don't you?"
"Because I don't want you to win."
Iwaki pulls the trigger but nothing happens. "What? What the hell?"
"Guess you're out of bullets."
Iwaki growls then hurls the gun at Katou then jumps over the couch and attacks him. Katou pushes him away into the bookshelf. Iwaki's back crashed into the wooden shelf, knocking the contents onto the floor with him. Katou smirks while he looks down at him. Iwaki tries to push himself up off the floor but the pain was starting to weigh him down.
"Do you want help up?" Katou asks sarcastically.
Iwaki snorts. "If you call that screwing."
Iwaki's little snide comment enraged Katou. He picks him up and slams him against the wall and start to choke him. Iwaki looks deep into his eyes and smiles.
Katou makes the mistake of looking into his eyes and his grip loosens a bit.
"You've always been weak."
"Make me. Oh, wait, you can't."
Katou slaps him across the face as hard as he can. "I said shut up."
Iwaki chuckles. "Is that the best you got?"
Katou slams Iwaki's head against the wall but Iwaki still kept laughing. He attempts to slam Iwaki's head harder but can't bring himself to.
"Come on," he hisses. "Give it me your best shot."
Katou punches him in the face but that did not stop his laughter So he punches him even harder.
"You punch harder than you fuck."
"I could say the same, you fight better than you fuck."
"Oh, baby, you've never seen me in bed before."
"Really? So it wasn't you I've been fucking all these years?"
"Something I've recently learned you're very good at."
Iwaki smirks. "I can't fake it anymore."
Iwaki leans up against the wall while looking into his eyes.
"But just know that I do love you and wasn't faking."
But Iwaki just stands there frozen stiff. Katou waits for him to do something before finally leaning in and kissing him. Iwaki wraps his arms around him pulling him in closer. Katou wraps his arms around him and holds him close deepening the kiss. Iwaki brings his hands down and undoes his and Katou's pants. Katou brings his hands down and grabs Iwaki's ass.
Iwaki pulls his pants down, turns around presenting his backside to him. He reaches behind him, takes a hold of his husband's manhood, and pushes it inside himself. Katou moans softly and takes a hold of Iwaki's hips. Iwaki leans his head back against Katou's shoulder. Moaning while he brings his hand up and stroked the side of his face and the other to grab his hand and stroke the front. Katou starts thrusting into him while stroking Iwaki's cock faster.
"More," he whispers in his ear. "I want more."
Katou turns Iwaki's head to the side and kisses him passionately as he thrusts harder into him. Iwaki grips a handful of his hair and bites on the bottom. Katou moans into the kiss from the feeling of Iwaki grabbing his hair. Iwaki jerks away and looks into his eyes with a huge smile on his face.
"I knew you always liked it rough."
Katou smiles back at him.
"I could say the same to you." He takes his hand off Iwaki's cock and spanks him. The sudden smack sent chills throughout Iwaki's body. Katou felt Iwaki tighten up around his cock when he spanked him causing him to smirk.
"That felt good didn't it?"
"Why don't I do it again?" Katou spanks him again but harder.
Iwaki leans his head further back as he cries out loudly in pleasure. "Yes!"
Katou kisses his neck as he thrust deeper into him.
"I wonder," he says, in between moans, "how are your balls feeling after a thrashing?"
Katou brings his hands up and teases Iwaki's nipples.
"Why? I know how sensitive you are here."
"You know nothing about me and my sensitive spots."
"Sure I do, I know what spot to hit that makes you moan like a whore."
And right at that moment, he hits his spot proving his point when he hears Iwaki cry out in pleasure.
Katou hits his spot harder causing Iwaki to bite his lip as he holds his moans back.
"Don't hide your moans from me."
Katou wraps his arms around him and holds him close as he pounds into him.
Katou thrusts some more before cumming deep inside him. Iwaki leans up against the wall as he tries to catch his breath after his climax. Katou rests his head on Iwaki's shoulder.
"No need to rest now. I'm not finished with you."
Katou smiles. "I was gonna says the same to you."
Iwaki turns around to face him and kisses him passionately as he wraps his arms around his neck. Katou pushes him against the wall grabs his thighs, lifts him up and lowers him down on his cock. Iwaki wraps his legs around him and pulls him in closer. Katou starts thrusting up into him. Iwaki leans his head back against the wall as he moans. Katou kisses his neck as he speeds up his thrusts.
"Katou..." he cries out his name.
"You haven't called out my name in a while," Katou says between moans.
"That's because I haven't felt this free in a long time."
Iwaki smiles then gives him a quick peck on the nose. "I'll tell you later but right now, keep doing what you're doing."
As the night faded into the morning, the married couple slept together for the time in years in each other's arms. Since they couldn't make it up to the bedroom they used their many talents to improvise. Using couch cousins as pillows and curtains as blankets. Katou wakes up before Iwaki and looks at him with a smile on his face.
"I love you," Katou whispers to him, as Iwaki sleeps in his arms.
Eventually, Iwaki wakes up to find Katou watching him. He rolls over onto his back and looks up at him.
"Were you watching me sleep?"
"You looked beautiful, I couldn't help it."
Katou smiles as he leans in and kisses his head.
"A little, are you going to make breakfast?"
"I'll try to make something out of what's left in the fridge."
"No, I can do it myself."
He sits up and uses some of the curtains to wrap around his body as he gets up and walks to the kitchen. He carefully makes his way through seas of glass and bullets to open the fridge. While he looks around Katou comes up behind him, kisses his neck. Katou wraps his arms around Iwaki's waist as he kisses his neck.
"Sorry, I couldn't help myself."
"I'm just happy you aren't brushing me off."
"I've been doing it for years I think it's time for a change."
"So no more brushing me off?"
Katou smiles and kisses the back of his head.
"So the only things that survived are the strawberries and the ice cream. Go figure."
Katou laughs "What kind of ice cream is it?"
"It's not bland and I'll show you."
Iwaki takes the cup of ice cream, finds a spoon, and climbs on top of island counter top. He snatches the cap off gets a spoonful of ice and rubs the coldness across his chest. Katou's eyes get wide as he watches him.
"Don't you want a taste?" he asks, looking straight into his eyes. He brings the spoon over to one of his nipple coating it with the creamy liquid. Katou makes his way over to him and licks the nipple with the ice cream on it. Iwaki moves the spoon out of the way but some drip across his chest. Katou pulls away and licks up the ice cream that dripped on his chest.
"Does that make it taste better?"
"I am starting to like it more."
"I'm going to start buying vanilla ice cream a lot more."
Iwaki laughs. "I'm glad that I could make vanilla more flavorful for your taste buds."
"I'll only eat it off of you though."
Iwaki gets up off the counter and switches places with Katou. He pushes him up against the island and lets the ice cream drip onto his chest.
Iwaki leans his head down and licks the liquid off his chest. Katou shivers a bit but he still moans softly. Iwaki continues to trail the spoon down lower with his tongue trailing behind. Katou tilts his head back and moans. Iwaki stops trailing the spoon, finishes licking up the rest, then lifts his head up to eat the rest off the spoon.
"I'm glad you thought so."
He gets another scoop out of the cup then drops down to his knees.
"It's been a while since you've done this."
"Well, you haven't gotten on your knees for me in a while."
"You've done more than I."
Iwaki rubs the cold spoon against the area above his crotch.
Katou bites his lip "Are you teasing me?"
He continues to rub that area more until the ice started to melt and drip down in between his legs.
Slowly the white cream runs down the half harden meat. Iwaki watched this letting it drip down to the floor.
"It's not nice of you to tease me."
"You've never liked being teased."
"I know. But it's nice to tease others."
Iwaki puts the spoon down on the counter before taking Katou's cock into his mouth. Katou [moans softly while] look[ing] down at Iwaki [sucking the melted ice cream off his cock].
"God, this feels amazing Iwaki."
He sucked faster getting any remaining ice cream off before lifting his head up.
Iwaki stands back up on his feet. "You're welcome."
Katou kisses his head. "Thank you."
"That's all I get is a kiss?"
"What do you want instead?"
"I didn't just suck your dick for nothing."
"Valid point, so what do you want me to do to you?"
Katou smiles "Nothing would make me happier."
"Then why am I still standing here?"
Katou picks Iwaki up and lays him down on the counter. Iwaki smiles and spreads his legs apart. Katou goes over to him, gets between his legs then shoves his cock into him. Iwaki leans his head back letting it hang off the edge of the counter. Katou grabs Iwaki's legs and holds them apart as he starts thrusting into him.
"Yes!" Iwaki cries out while he moans.
"Maybe I should've tried fucking you somewhere other than the bed. You seem to like this more." Katou says between moans.
"You should've been more spontaneous."
"You should've just told me that's what you wanted."
"I Shouldn't have to. I expect you to be a man and take charge but instead, you had no balls."
Katou glares at him and starts to roughly thrust into him. Iwaki's eyes roll back, his neck stretches out over the edge, and cries out in pleasure. Katou moans loudly in pleasure and thrusts deeper into Iwaki.
Katou sets Iwaki's legs on his shoulders and starts pounding into him. Iwaki grabs a hold of his arms then lifts his head up and kisses him. Katou moans into the kiss as he thrusts into him.
"I love you," Katou says between kisses and moans.
Iwaki pulls away and smiles at him as he looks into his eyes and strokes his cheek.
"Are you trying to make love to me because you're 20 years too late."
"You don't want me to make love to you?"
"I asked you to fuck me not make love to me."
"Fine then." Katou grabs Iwaki's throat and starts to choke him as he thrusts even deeper into him.
Iwaki grabs at his hand as he tries to stop him.
Katou lets go of his throat. "Don't like being choked?"
Iwaki musters up the strength to punch Katou in the face. "What the hell do you think?"
Katou groans softly and laughs. "Sorry my love, I just thought I would try it."
"Try it again and I won't be your love anymore."
"I'll keep that in mind."
Katou leans in and starts to lick and suck on Iwaki's nipples. Iwaki moans softly as he brings his hand up and grips the back of Katou's neck. Katou bites one and pulls it gently with his teeth.
"Not so roughly." he gasps.
"I thought you wanted me to fuck you?"
"I would like for my nipples to stay in one piece."
"I love them, I can't help it."
"If you love them so much treat them with respect."
"Yes, sir." Katou kisses his neck down to his chest.
Iwaki closes his eyes while softly moaning. He runs his fingers through his husband's hair. Katou licks his nipple and begins to suck on it as he teases the other with his hand.
Then right at that moment, the sound of glass shattering coming from the living room. Both Katou and Iwaki get off the counter and get behind it.
"They couldn't have had worst timing," Katou whispers to him.
Iwaki looks around the counter to see a small ball dispense gas into the living room.
"We have to make it to the basement."
"Even though we're naked we'll still have weapons at least."
"I have some spare clothes downstairs."
"That's great Iwaki I'm very happy for you."
"People broke into my house and I'm naked. Of course, I'm gonna be cynical."
Iwaki opens the oven and pulls out the bottom to reveal a hidden gun rack, holding two assault rifles, and three pistols, along with extra magazines.
"Is this why you never let me cook? Didn't want me to see your gun stash?" Katou asks as he looks at the guns.
"I'll explain later, grab a damn gun!" he says as he grabs one off the rack.
"Were you anticipating a shoot out in our house?" Katou asks as he grabs a gun.
"I'm always prepared for anything."
The couple load their weapons and look around the corners of the stand alone to see people wearing protective gear enter their home through the window. They look back at each other, nod to each other, then come from behind the counter and take down the S.W.A.T. like team. They take down the first few people before making their way out of the kitchen into the dining room.
"It's nice getting to fight along side you for once," Katou says to Iwaki as they take out the intruders.
"Are you--are you coming onto me in the middle of a fire fight?"
"I mean...it's a little distracting."
"Fine, I'll wait until later."
They make their way out of the dining to the basement while killing a few more people on their path. Iwaki walks into the basement first with Katou trailing behind him.
"So what's in the basement?"
Iwaki rushes over to the old rotary phone on the stand, puts in his passcode and watches as the tower in the floor comes up.
"How long has this been here?" Katou asks, shocked.
"Since we first bought this house."
"Yes. I built it myself."
"Because you were never allowed down here."
"I didn't want you to know about my secret identity. Now grab some weapons while I find us some clothes."
"Right." Katou looks through the weapons and picks out a couple guns for him and Iwaki.
Iwaki comes back wearing clothes that he had found along with another pair of clothes for Katou and a bag to carry the weapons.
"Just load all the weapons that we can carry with us."
Katou takes the bag and the clothes from him.
While He gets dressed, Iwaki is packing up the guns off the rack and the ones that he had hidden in other places throughout the basement.
Katou finishes getting dressed and walks over to Iwaki.
"So why are you putting them in a bag? Won't that make them hard to get to?"
"So that we can take them with us. Why else?"
"When we escape. We're being hunted down by our employers. I mean how did you even become a spy? You're so fucking clueless."
"Now is not the time to be an asshole."
"No! Now is not the time for you to be asking dumb questions!"
"It's also not the time for us to be arguing!"
The sound of the basement door opening draws the attention of the couple. With guns raised they watch as another small ball is thrown down the steps to them. But unlike the first ball, this one beeped rapidly.
"Fuck!" Katou says as the ball lands on the floor.
Quickly grabs the bag and races up the steps to run out of the house. On his way out he guns down a few more men. Katou runs behind him and covers him as they make their way out of the house. As they make it out to the front yard the house blows up behind them. The blast pushes them out onto the asphalt. The explosion left only cuts and bruises on the couple but it also left their ears ringing.
Katou groans softly in pain and slowly lifts himself off the ground and looks over at Iwaki.
"Are you okay?" Katou asks him.
Iwaki gets up and nods his head but then is immediately followed by pain. Katou makes his way over to him as quickly as he can to check on him.
"Are you bleeding? Anything broken?"
They stand up and look back at the burning house then look to each other.
For a moment, Iwaki is silent before he had a thought that made him smile.
"Have you ever been to the sea?"
"Like the beach? Yeah once or twice."
*******Few Days Later*******
Iwaki walks out of his house onto the beach to watch the sun rise beyond the horizon. And while he watches this beautiful moment he realized that this was the first in his life that he felt peace. Peace within himself and peace in his life. And while he accepted this peace, Katou comes up behind him, wrapping his arms around his waist.
"Good morning my love," Katou says and kisses the back of his head.
"Morning," he says with a smile.
"Well. How did you sleep?"
Iwaki turns around and looks into his eyes while still smiling.
"You know I've never been this happy in my entire life."
"Ouch, well I'm glad you're happy now at least."
"I didn't mean to for it to sound like that. I just feel like a massive weight has been lifted off my shoulders."
"Now we can be a normal married couple."
"We aren't trying to kill each other anymore at least."
"Good for you because I would've killed you."
"I know but I have a question for you."
"Yup, not to ruin the mood but did you only marry me because you had to get close enough to kill me?"
Without any thought, he answers him quickly and truthfully. "No."
"Yes. I didn't know about your double life until you shot me with a rocket launcher."
"Yeah, guess it was a dumb question."
