Laughter and giggles from the girls can be heard almost echoing in unison (no, not rehearsed–didn’t have the time nor the budget). This signaled that everything was under way; good times were being had right here! AT THE SUNSHINE CABARET! Ready to close its doors, this place had to find a hero—the type of hero that was going to rise it from the ashes like the phoenix that was and return it to the glory it knew it could achieve! And with it at the helm, grappling the others was easy picking.
Not the job that was wanted, but it was the job he took on. Besides—it paid really damn well; needed money for what he was doing behind the scenes (mind your business!).
𝘊𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘬–𝘊𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘬–𝘊𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘬
The sound of shoes slightly muffled due to the carpet underfoot and the music bouncing off the walls (yes it could be heard all the way back there). Yet, before the poor sap at the front of the door could turn away the towering, brooding figure (you’d think he’d learn to smile) The door swung open and a hand laid against the poor guy’s shoulder; it got him to stop shaking and the lone eye (the only working one at that) resting on that hardened face, his own becoming lighter to that of a small grin and the brow narrowing as if to even out the symmetry.
❝ Oh~to what do I owe such an unorthodox visit, Kiryu-channn~? ❞ Did the title have to roll? Be odd if it didn’t.
The hardest man in the room to read, one minute he’s as gentlemanly as a billionaire salesman, the next, he’s a psychotic with no regard to his own life. Or others, in some cases. Their interactions so far have been interesting, and also sporadic at best. But Kiryu believed he could at least trust this man a little after the Tachibana incident.
“I need help getting back on my feet.” The times weren’t too great on Kiryu, but he’d be damned if he wasn’t going to get the hell up and back into the game. “Heard Cabaret was pretty huge in Kamurocho now-a days. I remembered you had a casino and club yourself, so without starting a fight with anyone, I wanted a crash course.”
...Starting a fight, was a bit ironic. Considering Majima’s borderline obsession with throwing hands with the Dragon. “Can you help?”
