I went all the way to the mall to use my coupon and the store closed down this past February...

But I refused to let the trip be a waste so....

This angy lil guy is called Boy Rayan (Let's Date series). I was aiming for one called Shine, but got Promise instead. I think I will splurge on ebay for an opened one, I really like the quality of these blindbox figures! :)

annnnd I love little low-poly critters like the ones found in the PS1/NintendoDS era, so when I saw these I had to get a few. I was really lucky, I wanted the kitty and I got her! The shiba ain't too shabby either. :3 He's pretty chill, so he'll stay in my collection.

And with that, I am going to put a lid on my spending for a while. I get paid this weekend, and I have financial goals to meet. (OuO)v

3 days of vacation left

I won't be taking any other days off for the rest of the year, unless an emergency arises. So I want to make these last few days count! So far I've vistied my sister, went to the movies, had lunch with friends, caught up on sleep, and tomorrow I think I will go take a spin at the mall. I have some free birthday offers from some stores that I need to use before the deadline. :)

Tuesday is voting day for the primaries in my state, so I'll be queuing up for that and getting a coffee afterwards. Wednesday I'll... I dunno? Probably try to get back on nightshift schedule for my own sake. That means staying up almost 24 hours.

Maybe I'll try to beat Omori again, since I got stuck at that stupid monster maze part. >_< It's unfair and it moves too fast. I keep dying before I can even hit the first lump!

I hate this thing. I hate it so much, is there some sort of cheat to get around it????

I made a thing!

I haven't done something like this since... I dunno, middle school? Which has been decades ago now. But I was still so excited by the finale that I thought "Ok what if I got dropped in the circus? What would I look like?"

I think me and Gangle would get on like a Gävle Goat on fire. :3 Pretty sure my name would be Whimsie, since I'm pretty whimsical in real life, and I do things on a whim too... hence why I'd probably got stuck in the circus in the first place. XD

Watched a new anime on Netflix, called:

I haven't watched Netflix in a hot minute, and since I'm on vacation I felt like movies. So... this was on the feed and I thought, wow, this looks different!

I'm fairly new to 3D animated shows, preferring 2D... but the style of this one was anything but generic! I liked how it was stylized, and it kinda reminded me a bit of claymation. The plot was very loose and flowy, not taking itself very seriously. But the running theme of respect and having faith that people can change for the better while maintaining a healthy side-eye was great.

I also like the character designs too. The humans, aliens and robots were an interesting dynamic to throw together. I need to look into this more, because I don't know if there's a bigger series or if this is a one-shot. I kinda hope there's more, because I would love to watch it. :3

Definitely recommend giving it a watch to anyone willing to give something new a try.

TADC EP. 9 AT THE MOVIES, NO SPOILERS ->

I had a great time at the movies tonight-- everyone was really nice, nobody disrupted the show! We all laughed together at the funny parts of course, but the loudest we got was at the end when the whole theater erupted into cheers and started clapping during the credits.

(I know, it's an AmericanThing™ but we have so much enthusiasm we cannot possibly contain it all inside or we'll bust open at our red white and blue seams.)

I can't wait for it to drop on Youtube so I can finally geek out about it with others.

I know people adore Toyota, but I lucked out with my Honda Fit in 2010. I love her so much. I'm so sad they stopped selling this model in North America, I would buy a new one in a heartbeat. :c

Wonderful day with friends!

We had a great lunch date and then went shopping for a while. It was very nice, and I had so much fun.

And with that, my vacation kicks off to a great start. Tomorrow I plan to do nothing but relax, read, and maybe draw. I think I need it after all the activity the last two days.

My feet hurt from all the walking, but it felt good to be active. c:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

My sister took me to IKEA, so I could look for a new table lamp, then we hit up a Korean BBQ and hot pot restaurant for dinner. It was a very chill birthday and I loved it!

Also it's the beginning of Pride month! Happy Pride month everyone! It was cool to see the pride flag flying at IKEA, especially in these trying times. ❤️
