This time I softened Kallen's expression and made their pose a little less dramatic, mostly because I sorta remembered that Kallen's... a really good actor? Dutifully playing his part?? So in the end I gave him a convincing, half-pleasant little smirk 😌 Ulysses is as tense as he was all these years ago, though. Someone get this man outta here.

I think my anatomy's improved, though the 2024 version also had a lot of charm that I don't think could be reproduced even if I tried...Ah, well. Such is the nature of art. 😌

Some ramblings about this year, as well as some art stats down below!
Now, do forgive me for being getting all sappy, but this year was honestly intense, especially the second half of it! Lots of exams, even more drastic changes in life, taking up college and a job and trying to balance it all while taking care of my health... Although in retrospect, I suppose I did heal a lot during this year.
Sure, there's been unsavory news, mental breakdowns and art blocks, but there's also been new friends, new hobbies and people who clearly had my back through the worst of it.
I believe that my last year's summary post really reflected my less-than-perfect mental health, so I can only hope that this time I can show people that I'm really getting better :]
Back to the topic at hand, though! I'd say I didn't have a lot of time to draw this year, but I've still managed to make at least one piece each month! Yay!
I feel like there's a slight dip in quality during September, but to give myself some slack, this was also a very intense time IRL (just like this month, jesus christ).
July was awesome, I loved this year's artfight the most :^)
