Hello, I just wanted to pop in here and let ya guys know I'm gonna be spending some me time for quite some time since I'm getting back into playing video games and watching shows/movies/etc. I want to put my life and my interests first before Tumblr.

This doesn't mean I'll be leaving Tumblr entirely. I'm just taking a break for myself away from Tumblr.

And then as soon as he gets the information he needs out of the boy and turns around, his expression immediately sours. If playing nice with Dipper Pines wins Mabel's favor, so be it.

He's got a lovely present for his lady friend, tucked away in his sleeve. "Happy birthday, Ma... bel?" He enters the living room... but she's not there, and all that crosses his mind is sabotage.

Last he checked, Mabel was in the living room. "Gideon, did you find her yet?" Dipper called out, soon entering the living room only to see Gideon being upset. "She was in here last I checked." He quickly explained, trying to figure out where his twin sister went. "Please don't think I'm sabotaging you because I swear I'm not."

Good thing oozes had no brain. Or maybe that was potentially a bad thing. Nevertheless, the moment the axe made contact with the slimy hide of the ooze, it released Ford's leg, instead shifting its attention to the axe embedded in its body, and the one wielding it.

Good thing this ooze's gelatinous body wasn't highly acidic. Wendy would feel a tugging sensation on the handle of the axe as the creature attempted to pull the weapon into itself. It then whipped out a tendril, luckily completely missing her and instead attaching to the nearby cash register.

"Oh Hell, Stanley's going to kill me," Ford grunted before standing up and rushing forward with a hunting knife, managing to slice through the tendril and sever it.

Wendy lets out a loud yelp of surprise, processing what just happened. "Did it just miss me?!" She struggles to get her axe back, falling back on her rear. "No shit, your brother's going to be pissed!" She shouted at Ford, still struggling. Her heart was racing more quickly than ever and it hit her she doesn't have experience in fighting this kind of creature.

" The cake was good, though! Just don't imagine for how long if they're eating that every day. Bakeries must have it cut out for them. "

"Ooooh yeah, that'll definitely do it. It gets more irritating and yet a bit nervewracking when there's piñatas involved every single time." Wendy pats Ford's shoulder as a way to reassure the man.

"Hey, that's actually good though! At least the cake was good!" She exclaims, a polite smirk plastering across her face. "Honestly, what would happen if they run out of the ingredients to bake those cakes though? Will that dimension fall apart?"

" I'm reminded of a dimension where they celebrated your birthday 364 days a year. That was awful. Holed up there for a week. "

"Yikes, I don't even know if I would even want to celebrate my birthday 364 days a year." Wendy laughed softly, a soft frown plastering across her face. "Though, it must've been horrible dealing with that dimension for an entire week."

how does your muse view the world ; as a cruel & unforgiving place , a land full of wonders , or something in - between ? where does that world view come from ( what experiences , life lessons , etc . ) ?

"The world's a harsh place but I didn't get to where I am now. My brother, Stanford, was rather smart and he almost got into his dream school but I didn't want to lose him. Guess where that landed me? I was kicked out of my own home, the thing is my father wasn't really...impressed with me around. My father took it as an opportunity to actually kick me out." Stan sighed, rubbing his chin.

"Ford and I argued years later, I fucked it up again. Ford was gone before I knew it. Since then, I've been working my ass off to teach myself all those fancy subjects, math, etc. to rebuild the portal. I took over Ford's name which is something I'm not proud of. I had to pretend to be my brother during the day but during the night, I'm myself, working on that portal."

"Thing is, sometimes the world can be a harsh place but there are some parts of the world that's a land full of wonders. If anything, I'm...glad to get to know my great-grandkids."

"In some way, I learned from my past although there are times where I repeat the same mistakes but I learn from it and make sure I don't repeat it again."

Ford, struggling to pull a massive, gelatinous being behind him with thick - what looked like plastic - sheeting, exhaled heavily and paused for a moment to quirk an eyebrow at the teen's suggestion. He couldn't help but smirk slightly.

"Him, complaining about messes? Heh, even if I didn't make a mess, he'd find something to complain about. You should have seen our room when we were kids. He called his 'a mess that makes sense'." He couldn't help but chuckle again before managing to squeeze the slime creature through the doorway, trailing slime along the ground as he took one struggling step after another.

"But he knows about my hobby. He agreed not to interfere as long as I confine my research to the basement... but I have to get them down there somehow, don't I?" He then waved one six-fingered hand. "Don't worry, I'll clean up the mess once I--"

The gelatinous glob slunk forward and enveloped Ford's leg up to the knee, and when he attempted to step forward he flailed.

"ARGH! Not again!"

Wendy groaned slightly, letting go of her magazines then jumping over the counter to remove her axe from her belt. She raised her axe up and then she slammed it down against the gelatinous glob. "Out of all the creatures you could've captured, you chose to capture a slime creature?!" She snapped with a hint of annoyance, raising her axe up once again and then slamming it back down against the gelatinous glob. "Let go of Ford, you slimey monster!"

"Why, Dipper Pines, you honestly think a widdle guy like me has bad intentions? I'm just wishin' my friend happy birthday!"

"So, uh... friend, where's my sweet sunshine Mabel? I want to wish her a happy birthday, too!"
