contrary to popular belief, Tilian Pearson did not take his unclean vocal experience from his time in the band Tides of Man. He actually stole the voice of a young mermaid in return for the mermaid being given legs, so that she could walk on land and attempt to seduce a sailor that she'd fallen in love with. That is how Tilian did his unclean vocal parts on Lyrics Lie (2020)

He has a fraternal twin called Patton, who has black hair, likes makeup and is more of a hardcore vocalist. They can possess each other at any time and use this to sing songs with both clean and unclean vocal parts, or to just do interviews when one fo them doesn’t feel like doing it. Patrick used to be the one whose body went on tours and had a YouTube channel, but he asked Patton to take over in 2018 so he could take a break for a while.
