Sometimes when describing what ADHD is like to people I sometimes describe part of it as trying to find a specific LEGO (thought) in giant bin of them, but you can’t grasp it because all the other Legos (thoughts) kinda try to cover up the area your digging in so you also are focused on not letting those get in the way and trying not to let them spill over the side of the bin, and sometimes when you find the lego, it turns out not to be the one your looking for, or you come up with an entirely different piece, or sometime just start randomly building something else spur of the moment.
