To say that the majority of black Americans don't support or love Obama is crazy and it makes me so angry lol. The only reason they stopped "supporting" him or felt betrayed was because he didn't deliver his promises and not even what he did to Libya and the hundreds of drone strikes resulting in thousands of lives lost or starving Yemen, or even at the least bombing your own brothers and sisters in Africa. Of course thirdworld suffering always comes second even with the most oppressed of firstworlders lmao. If Obama had stopped police brutality of fixed systemic racism you wouldn't have any problems with him starting open air slave markets or murdering brown children.
Barack "stop blaming everything on colonisation" Obama is the face of black excellence. You can't brush all this under the rug while claiming black Americans share the same struggle with the global south. The struggle for integration is what diconnects your struggle from ours. One of the major struggles black Americans face is undoing that integration.
It's why I don't take some of you seriously when all you do is focus on the fact that you don't get your equal share of imperial spoils. Yes it's good to point out the systemic inequality, but the goal for decades has largely been about getting your seat at the table and it's sad to see.
