Wanted: Beta-Readers for a non-meihem venture of mine? I hate to use this account for things of a non Junkrat/Mei nature, but well! I’m about 3/4s of a way through a book I’m hoping to get published: a lone girl’s post-apocalyptic journey.

Aww, thanks so much. I still love Junkrat and Mei and I keep hoping that Overwatch 2 will give us some more content or something to keep it going, even with all the troubles Blizzard is having with them cleaning house. I'm still slowly chugging away on Strange Honey when I'm not working at my new job, and maybe they'll throw us some bones with the upcoming holidays that will give some more meihem!

I've also decided to take all my practice with fanfiction and actually start writing original books, see if maybe I can self-publish some stuff on Amazon. Fanfics helped me discover how much I like writing and how much it makes me happy.

So I'm glad to hear that it helps make you happy too. :)

Meihem List

Inspired by the meihem Discord server. Every time a skin goes up we go hyena mode. And we just got some excellent Mei and Junkrat skins as of late. So all the Meihem pairs so far, based on nothing but imagination and hc’s: 

Default Junkrat and Default Mei - The two OGs have a currently tumultuous relationship for reasons unknown so far. Mei is snippy towards Junkrat and Junkrat is snidely amused. What went down between you two! If we don’t see more in OW2, we riot.

Beachrat and Honeydew Mei - Summer loving, happened so fast! Beachrat frequents Mei’s boba shop, and casual flirtation escalates rapidly. These two are lighthearted and lots of fun.

Krampus and Meirry - Two wary frenemies on different sides of the holidays, naughty and nice. But Krampus has an unexpected love of the soft and sweet, and Meirry harbors a secret naughty streak of her own.

Dr. Junkenstein and Jiangshi - Junkenstein is a disaster. Hopelessly brilliant but a total mess on his own, he needs the help of his lovely assistant Jiangshi. Jiangshi is loyal and polite as far as vampires go, but she’s more than willing to assume the dominant position when needed... in many aspects of their relationship, hehe.

Hayseed and Beekeeper - More on the supernatural side of things. Beekeeper Mei is a nice and studious young lady at work in her apiary... and probably doesn’t expect or really know how to handle the presence of a literal haunted ghost scarecrow that is infatuated with her.

Junkfood and Sprinkles - They own a Sweets Shoppe and they’re the absolute worst when they’re together. Nobody wants to hang out with them. It’s nothing but 24/7 sloppy public displays of affection with them. When they’re not wearing each other’s clothes, they’re licking ice cream and sugar off the other and making candy puns the whole time. Ugh, stop.

And so the cursed candy boy finds his match. Meihem connections available as Milkshake Mei enters the arena.

Depends on my mood, completely. I'm pretty open to any/all types of fic. And heck, meihem is so rare that I'll take anything! Feed me!

Cheer up! I actually learned opentoonz today and in the span of two hours I made this lmao It needed to be done.

Have you heard the new Junkrat interactions for this event? None are with Mei unfortunately but a lot are the other heroes being rude to him when he's being oddly polite, he even offers Hanzo snacks after he says he had 'lost something', interesting to see an empathetic side to him isn't it?

His new interactions are just the cutest. I wish we'd gotten to hear Hanzo's reactions to the snacks.

Also you can see traces of Rat's sweetheart side in some of his other voicelines. Some that come to mind is him asking his team before the match if they just want to forget about the fighting and go to the beach with him. I especially like his little chortles when they go to Eichenwalde and he says "I hate to break this to everyone, but..." and then points out that all the bots around have already been blown up. During the omnic uprising events, you can also hear him trying to be polite to anyone who gets downed. While the other more rough characters demand for them to rez, Rat actually tries to coax them. "C'mon! Get up! You can do it!"

I hope we get to hear some positive voicelines with him one day. Give our boy friends. He's TRYING. It doesn't always work but he's trying.

Truly he is a multi-faceted rat.
