Sandor Interviews is coming back

I’m now allowing people to sign up for Sandor Interviews again. Those who have already had their fanime character interviewed before can’t sign up a second time yet. Not until I’ve gotten at least one interview for each person who wants one.

Here is how to sign up:

1. Email [email protected] and name the subject of your email: SANDOR INTERVIEWS SIGNUP-_____________ (with the blank being the name of your fanime)

2. In that email give me the name of the fanime and fanime character you want to have interviewed

3. In that same email give me a short 1 paragraph description of the character. If your fanime has already released at least 1 episode I encourage you to only give me non-spoiler information on the character that has not been shown in the fanime.

After you send me the email you will have to wait for me to finish Sandor's portion of the script and then perform the steps below.

1. Fill in the blanks for the intro and the questions that Sandor asks to complete the script. You can also have your character interrupt Sandor at any point in the script.

2. Send me two pictures of your character sitting down at a 3/4 angle. One with their mouth closed and another with their mouth open. You can also send pictures of any other facial expressions or actions you want your character to do. If you want your character not to appear pixelated then their pictures should be about 250 x 525 pixels.

3. Give me the sound file for the voice lines for your character.

Fanime Quest (Game) announcement

Not much seems to be going on in the fanime community these days so I figured I’d let people know what I’m doing so that there’s a little more stuff out there to get excited about.

This is a game that I’m working on using RPG Maker VX Ace called Fanime Quest. In this game if you talk to any fanime character enough times you can recruit them to your team and go adventuring with them. So far I’ve added 15 fanime characters to this game and I plan to add more.

I’ve been working on this for 2 and a half weeks now and it seems like I’m already about halfway finished with this game. I’ve been super motivated to work on this.

Another Sandor Goes To School episode is finally finished. This time Sally becomes a magical girl.

So I’m a computer teacher and I overheard one of my students say that they’d be super excited if anyone ever drew fan art of one of their characters, so that’s exactly what I did. Might be pretty weird receiving your first fan art picture from your teacher lol.

I can’t believe Chad won this thing holy crap.What a comeback after losing to Kohaku by such a longshot in round 1. These results were super interesting and the feedback I got has taught me some helpful things about character design such as the importance of detail, color scheme, and finding the right balance between creativity and appeal.

Now time for the final round. This round will decide everything. Vote for which character design is your overall favorite out of every OC that’s been shown, even if your favorite lost round 1. The 1 on 1 rounds results will only be used as a tie breaker if 2 characters get the same number of votes in this round. I could have taken losers out of this final vote, but I wanna know how many people like each design.

I’m going on a vacation trip to Japan tomorrow so I won’t be able to announce the results for 2 weeks. Sorry for the inconvenience.
