“Do you have any water?”
LIKE THIS FOR A STARTER.
I’m not making a new account of a character from the new Mad Max movie what are you talking about.
The motion of him standing up, she slowly follows. She knew there is no way she could support him if he did tumble and she might end up with a bruised bum, but she had to try at least. She comes to a stand and follows him at his side, not at all caring for the unusual stares they received from the passersby.
“Let me call someone up and I’ll take you to the place–” she calls up Peter and proceeds to explain the situation in a prompt manner. Of course he’s uncertain about the man she is with, but she is convincing enough. She gets the okay and the directions to the Night Nurse. Georgia Jenkins is there to welcome them and immediately directs the stranger to her examination room where she cleans him up and stitches the wound, applying a new bandage.
Mary Jane remains outside of the room until Georgia informs her it’s okay to enter. When she does, she sets down her purse and moves to his side, smiling softly. “There, all better. You can sleep as much as you want now, pal. By the way, I’m Mary Jane Watson, pleasure to meet you.”
All of this was strange to him, but the pain made him realize that none of this could be fake. This wasn’t some strange dream he was having from pain, this was real. There was no wasteland. There was no fighting. No nuclear fallout. There was water, which he drank. There were cars, which he could hear outside of the window. It was overwhelming to the point that he passed out—and that was the only reason why.
When he came to, he woke to see the redhead that helped him. He looked at his wound and then to her. She was kind to a stranger that could have left him there to die.
He didn’t speak for a moment, but after a little bit of deliberation, he did.
“Max.”
Online after I nap for an hour. Please like this for a starter. I promise I'll be on tonight and I'll be getting to them v
“Don’t. Don’t do that.”
He didn’t know if a hospital would be good. He didn’t even know if this was real. “I just need to sleep for a little while.”
She doesn’t assume as to why he didn’t want a hospital. She knows better than to make a snap judgement about a man based on that request. She lowers to sit down next to him, almost cringing at what she could be leaning against; living in New York for this long, you know that these walls can double as a toilet. However, she doesn’t complain for she knows there’s no way she can lift him up and guide him to the nearest bench. “Sir, I am not sure sleep is your best bet. Now, I know I’m not a medical professional, but if you’re bleeding that excessively, sleep might not be your best option. Why don’t you help me out: I know some people who would be willing to stitch you up for free, but I can’t carry you myself.”
At her words, Max knew she was telling the truth. He was never quick to trust, but he knew he needed to. Even if death would have been preferable. He could see his family again, but he knew his family would want him to keep on fighting.
It was an inner struggle that would never go away. It took him another moment to push himself up from the ground and stand upright. He leaned against the wall for a second before pushing himself away from it.
All he did was nod. A nod in thanks and to tell her to start walking.

“Don’t do that.”
Oh jesus.
“–Don’t do what? Don’t – ah … I wasn’t – sorry.”
Way to keep it casual, Liv. “I was just looking.”
"You were gawking."
whxwashe "Don't do that."
Send "Everything's alright" and my muse will react to receiving a forehead kiss from yours.
Max looked unimpressed, even if what the stranger did was a little bit weird. He came from a world where that didn’t exist, but he was never one to show excitement. He never saw a reason to.
“And yet, I don’t trust you.”
He moved away from him, heading in the direction of his car.
“If /you/ don’t want to get blown up, /I/ suggest you get in ”
“Are you fucking kidding me?” Quentin grumbled, and hopped over a rock. “Could you not? I’m not here to play babysitter I’m here to get you out.” He started out running, but running was not his friend and he ended up hovering after the man.
Max stood by the door of his vehicle, eyes on the road and not the man that could do the unexpected. He was waiting and watching. Searching the horizon for whoever was after them.
"If you don't get in, you die."
You're making a mistake.
That's not going to happen.

It was clear that he looked out of place, but he was trying his best to clean up. Ever since he came here—whatever time this was, he was still adjusting. He looked homeless more than out of place and out of time.
“Is there a diner nearby?”

Not really. Got distracted by a few things.
Mm. Still want a drink?
Are you offering?

“You sound ridiculous.”
“Goddamnit.” It was so much easier to just put ideas in peoples’ heads than rely on them to figure things out when explained to them. Of course when you started plopping down complex information in someone’s brain they tended to get all touchy and all the trust issues they found in mommy-and-daddy’s closet got drug up. “Let me show you.” There was more than one way to skin a cat, if you’re into that sort of thing. Quentin held out his hand and a sizzle-pop of psionic energy later a buzzing blue shotgun appeared there. “See? I’m all the fucking good guys you get right now, as pedantic as that sounds, so either resign yourself to getting blown the fuck up or get your ass over here!”
