“You wont judge me if I eat this whole pint of ice cream by myself, will you?”

Knocking on the door was strange, let alone to visit some apartment almost in the middle of some city. He usually wasn’t in the big city anyway, and this was only for Liv. She probably knew it too. He’d done his research, he was trying his best to still find the roots of how to find Dean, but she was helping. If only by company. It was a sad habit, finding some girl while Dean was going, and using them for company- but at least with Liv nothing romantic had happened. Granted, with Ruby, the only reason romance started- well, lust started- was because of the damn blood, and Liv was no demon.
@whcwashe started a verse with me (poor soul)
It had been two weeks, two weeks in which he’d barely reached out to anyone. Mom was out there somewhere, and so was Castiel, both had tried calling. Both had tried to be there for him, but Sam just couldn’t answer the phone. They knew he was alive, they knew he was kicking, but after the BMoL, and fucking prison of all things- and to lose Dean on that bridge- he could still see the car headlights on them, Billie as she took Dean’s soul for payment. They wanted to comfort him, but he didn’t have the power to accept it right now, or even talk about it. He was taking things from dad, he knew, he was working on fixing it. Only this time, it wasn’t as- controling as they could be back and forth to each other. He’d find out where Dean was first.
There were too many prices for bringing them back, and he didn’t have the strength to go through putting Dean through suffering he didn’t have to go through. If Dean was in some empty limbo of white space- if he was in hell, or purgatory, Sam was stealing him back from death, there was no question about it. If he was happy in heaven, in the roadhouse with Ash and the others- he could let him go. He could just accept he’d join him eventually.
The matter of that, though, was finding out where the hell his brother was, and every damn usual informant was quiet on the damn thing. He felt like he was back to those drunk days of shooting demons, and half expected Ruby to show up. To be fair, this time, he’d only had a few really drunk days, and those were the one’s he regretted, because he’d actually talked to Castiel on things, talked to him on the phone and made the angel linger around for a few days at a time. Seemingly worried Sam was going to go down a path he had no intention of following.
For all the power, and all the knowledge, he’d acquired, he still didn’t have a way to find out where Dean was, without traveling to the places, and while he’d do that for his brother, some were easier than others, and Billie wasn’t talking.
This was one of those options, though. He’d found the name in his father’s journal, a man who he’d talked to, that he’d almost reached out for about an item that apparently could give you information on the dead, let you possibly reach out to them- what exactly it did was hazy, but the man was a psychic either way. Dad had enough information at that point to not follow through, but Sam wasn’t going to let the line drop. He’d managed to find something, at least, and while he’d made it across country, he hadn’t been able to reach the man.
If it came to breaking and entering, he’d do it. Each step across the grass knowing this could end with him dead by some damn magic, and he was oddly okay with that.

The angel grinned, before straddling Liv’s lap, and began rubbing the brunette’s legs with her pale hands, against the fabric of Liv’s jeans. Brook then kissed Liv’s lips softly, whilst slipping her hands into Liv’s jeans.
❝Mmm..maybe~.❞

Jarrett heard the knock on the door, but he couldn’t move, couldn’t open it, couldn’t get off the floor. He was paralyzed, his muscles had all seized and the twitches were involuntary. He was empty. There was nothing inside him, like he had been drained of all the existences in his life, all the happiness, all the sad, it was just gone.
He heard her voice, Liv, from the other side of the door, and he prayed she’d remembered her key. Maybe she could help him. A whine trickled out of his mouth like a death rattle, he put all the volume he could muster behind it, hoping she would hear it, hoping she would burst in and save the day. The seizing was abating, if only just, but he had no idea how much longer it would take him to regain composure, regain his sense of self. Would he never feel happiness again? Would being with Liv feel different? This was unlike anything he had ever experienced, and the blood on his face, the blood in his mouth, was the only thing that made him certain this was real.
“Liv...” his tongue started working again as a gnarled hand, muscles contracted in agony, reached toward the door. Help, he thought. help me.
“I’m dying, and all I hear is insults!” #drama queen
“I think I’d know if you were dying, you big goof. Get off the floor. I’m not carrying you upstairs.”

He was trying to keep calm, but he was feeding off her own frustration and nervous energy. “Look I never seen a ghost before that, all right? He just...showed up in the living room, I didn’t know what to do.” But Jarrett started laughing, he couldn’t help it. “I pointed a gun at him, thought he was an intruder. Gotta be some kinda stupid to point a gun at a non-corporeal being, don’t ya?” Wrapping his arms around her, he kissed the top of her head, “I dunno, I didn’t know if you’d want to know about it...”
