will there be a level editor?

Most likely not.

All of the levels in the game were built in-engine. It would require a ridiculous amount of work to put together a level editor for a game that was never designed to have one. Plus, I really want to move on from CaL onto my new project Loot Snake.

But who knows? Maybe in the future, if there’s nothing else for me to do, I might do it. No idea how it would work on mobile though.

Ok i am a hater of ai and its polution, but also ai is so shit at coding its comical.

If you think you cant code with ai, i promise you can. In fact, i think you will have an easier time because you wont have to clean up every other line after the ai.

Paper mario fangame idea

Angry after so many defeats, bowser finds out about a magic clock that allows the user to manipulate time, after stealing it he wrecks into Mario's house and a battle starts, if you defeat bowser by depleting his HP he just uses the clock to go back to the start of the battle, so to win you have to just hit the clock with your hammer

This proves to not be a good decision as the a portal appears from the clock's remains pulling mario and bowser inside

After a bit you discover that whoever has the most pieces of the clock can travel in time, so the chapters would have you to collect the pieces of the clock and unlock more eras from them

Would be interesting to have actual gameplay mechanics from being able to change the time from day to night, like companions and moves getting buffs at a specific time, or places only accessible in a specific time, tho changing the time would have you spend your turn (or have no enemies nearby if you're outside a battle)

The final bossfight of the game could have bowser getting the lead of the most clock pieces, tho you to get an atemporal hammer a bit earlier that would ignore bowser going back in time to heal
