As is our tradition, for fun, we’ve pulled together questions for artists at Anime North! This includes any artist or crafter selling stuff at the con. Every year we change it up to keep it interesting :) This year, we’re trying a different format!

One popular fandom I’m really into is: Anything Studio Ghibli! I love the art, the animation, the music, the feels, the nostalgia, the everything!
One obscure fandom I’m really into is: I would have to go with Atashinchi or Lovely Complex! My friend introduced me to LoveCom in gr. 11 when he came over to work on our biology project. We would watch this more than we would work, but it was so worth it. I tend to enjoy shorter animes and these two happen to be super funny.
Something new I’m trying with my art, or a new art-related thing I’ve really gotten into lately is:
Lots! I love getting into all sorts of new stuff! Here are a few: acrylic charms, screen printed cushion covers, metal-backed clay pendants, and I’m considering sewing smaller pouches & producing prints soon.
Besides my art, I also really love:
I love exploring places, photography, teaching, discovering and eating desserts, telling lame jokes, & spending time with family and friends.
If someone told me to name a fictional character the first thing that comes to mind is:
The monkeys that my cousin (gar) doodles (see below). She draws a bunch to represent my whole family. They’re adorable and she does a great job depicting our daily shenanigans, so I guess it’s half-fictional? XD
My favourite colour combination or palette is:
Hmm.. right now, it’s white + lavender + any warm pastel colour

One thing I’m really looking forward to at the convention is:
Selling for the first time, meeting new people and exchanging information, sharing artist experiences, being inspired by people’s art and table set-up, shopping, basically crowds and activities that trigger the release of adrenaline .. which is basically everything at AN!
