Keep your knights groomed. I don't want to hear about how much you like the look of a blood-splattered knight. Their armour should be clean and polished, otherwise it will get disgusting and attract all sorts of bugs. A lot of knights can self-groom just fine, but some need help with it. Have a professional do it if you are uncertain you can manage it. A clean knight is a healthy knight.

I get that part of the problem is the actual writers flanderizing her, but Camilla has more to her character than people think
Camilla has been traumatized by the political warfare that killed countless siblings in the Nohrian court. It's strongly implied that she had to kill some of them herself. Her overly violent and possessive, yet protective and nurturing nature is a result of her trauma. She desperately wants to protect the family she has left, but she's been conditioned to believe that she needs to go to these extremes to prove that she loves them
She's very devoted to her family in general, and I wish the writers would focus more on her relationship with all of her siblings instead of focusing her entirely on Corrin most of the time
I really adore Camilla and this is part of it. I feel like there's a good amount of characterization and motivation that is sort of floating about ephemerally somewhere between her described background (like in this post) and then some of the ridiculous writing put on screen. I think a lot of Fates characters actually aren't that deep or interesting (it's a large cast, what can you do), so Camilla having some slightly more complex motivation goes a long way. And as usual, Corrin's character being treated Like That does nobody else's character any favors. As sort of a thought exercise, I think it's neat to imagine Camilla's character placed in Three Houses. Take the existing parts of her character - the assassinations, political intrigue, the familial trauma, the duty, etc. And it all slides neatly into Fodlan's crest-based society, and works well with the themes in that game. She'd have a lot of common themes with characters like Sylvain, Ingrid or Mercedes. And, of course, by virtue of being in Three Houses, the character being taken a little more seriously and written a bit better.
The pressure to finish up the first few chapters or post about my Fódlan OCs before Fortune's Weave comes out and ruins all my carefully curated understanding of the existing lore... I made an OC for each of the Three Houses and when I do characters for stuff I have to like... stitch them into the setting very neatly where they not only fit the lore, but also the vibe, and where their presence wouldn't derail the ~plot~ but *would* nudge or alter it a little, so my three OCs have so much ~lore~ i've been keeping to myself, and I am dying to make it presentable and shareable
For two of them, I have outlines and vignettes all done up but I've been trying to put it into like, actual sequential chapters and stuff presentable for posting

i haven't posted on tumblr in a long time but I've been deeply fodlan-pilled and writing tons of stuff for OCs and fanfic for Three Houses and Three Hopes and I don't really have any other outlet for this stuff so i was like 'if only there was a place i could dump random thoughts and stuff about OCs into the void' then i remembered tumblr exists....
i still think one of the best things about Three Hopes is making Byleth the unblockable super armor Lu Bu character
Having the prologue open up with the player character's Friendly Cool Mercenary Company Family getting butchered by Jeralt's Company, and then Shez craves revenge but gets obliterated by Byleth - then Shez awakens Secret Hidden Powers and STILL isn't a match for Byleth, is so good It really sells the Ashen Demon stuff in a way that I don't think ever really gets across in Three Houses.
It's also neat to see Jeralt acting as a mercenary captain with Byleth under his command. There's some problems with Three Hopes, especially the overall story, and some other characters not being adapted as well but I think it enriches Byleth and Jeralt so much and retroactively makes them better in Three Houses.

i haven't been on tumblr in like 4 years because of ~ancient trauma~ but i got so back into WoT because of the show that I have had my brain entirely rotted by it, and none of my friends will watch the show with me and i can't keep talking to them about a show none of them watch and it got so bad that I had to come back to tumblr
