This infuriates him, causing him to lash out at Samus.
How dare Nintendo have a short guy strike a woman in a trailer for a fighting game!
How dare Nintendo make a woman launch multiple men in a trailer for a fighting game!
When did gaming become a source for people to lash out against others? When did gaming become something else other than being fun?
Oh yeah. People make comments like this because they're overly sensitive to topics that have no meaning at all.
I'm not going to insult you over your opinion. Because that's what it is. Your opinion. If that's what you believe, then fine. Your decision.
But don't lash out at others for what you believe in. That's not right at all. It makes your side look worse.
Just remember that this was merely a joke and meant for humor, and as all jokes are, they won't be funny for everyone.
Samus is a strong woman, she can take more than just an uppercut. Sure, she sucked pretty bad in Brawl, but was pretty good in Melee. She's a boss in Project M.
My point is, you've overreacted towards a joke that had no real meaning. It made you angry, I get that, but instead of bashing Nintendo, you could've been mature about it and completely ignored it and gone on with your day. It wouldn't be as big of a deal as it is now.
