Supplier Relationship Management web app - Walt Disney World

Or simply called SRM Portal, it capability is to automating cross-functional workflows and providing dynamic business intelligence across multiple platforms, used by Merchandise Sourcing cast members located in Florida, Hong Kong, and Singapore of Walt Disney World company. It enhances data transparency between relevant teams and vendors. 

In the current phase, the tool makes users able to see list and profile of suppliers and factories based on the role of the user. User also able to submit a filled  factory visit form whenever they inspecting a factory and the history will be displayed on the factory profile page. User can upload media, check on suppliers' score, printing both the score and factory visit history to pdf or xls, and check on relevant notification among others. The application has slight adjustment on the mobile view. 

For future phase, the tool will add project management, business intelligence, and admin functions, messaging and communication between supplier/factory with disney employees. The supplier/factory will also able to update their own profile info and other relevant info.

On the right top of the web app, user can find the notification icon. For now, it will alert user by displaying list of Factory audit due date, in the future will be added : Weather Advisory, Product Integrity, Violation, Shipping Delays, and Projects

From the Factory Visit post, there's Export button on the bottom of page. To export visit history, user will have to select one or more history, then click Export - > PDF or XLS.

Performance Score of supplier is also able to print into PDF and XLS format. On the Supplier profile page, user can find the export button if it has a score.

SRM - Factory Visit

Factory Visit are located in Factory profile page, where user can select the Visit History tab to see any previous visit info, edit and delete, or add a new one.

Left: Each user panel display visit info that filled by said user. Right: The media is being displayed (by clicking the image icon )

Once each question being clicked, it will pop up a window to be filled, if user input some text then the "Upload Image" will become active and then user can upload and image that related to the answers. 

Each Visit history will have Edit and Delete button, but only to user's own history, because they are not allowed to delete and edit others, of course.

SJ Weather - Android App

It's a continuation from the webpage version, which then developed as android app. Also has the ability to post to Facebook feed, either the current weather or a week forecast for a specific location. Using USC CS server and Amazon Web Services to Yahoo Weather.

SJ Weather Search (webpage)

SJ Weather Search webpage version is located at the usc server. It is a mashup of Yahoo! Weather and Facebook, by using AJAX, JSON, AWS, Java, and YUI library among others. The weather information is gained through Yahoo! Weather. 

The user able to look up the weather of a particular location by inputting the zip code or city's name.

Example of "90017". It displays the info of the location, current and forecast temperature, as well as options to post them on Facebook.

Example by inputting the name of the city, follow by the country. (If the input is not in correct format, it will displays error message)

Fire Emergency Assistance 

It is basically an application that queries a spatial database. A system to assist user by tracking fire hydrants, buildings and buildings on fire.

-Fire Hydrant represents by green point

-Buildings represents by polygon, yellow for normal condition and red for on fire.

Queries

-Whole Region. This is to display all the features of the active feature types in the whole map.

-Range Query. User able to draw a polygon in the map. After pushing the Submit Query button, only the features inside the polygons are displayed.

-Find neighbor Buildings. Display the neighbor buildings that are located within 100 pixels around the building on fire in Yellow polygons. The people in those neighbor buildings also need to be evacuated to safe places.

-Find Closest Fire Hydrants. User could use click to specify arbitrary number of buildings that are on fire. The closest fire hydrants shown on the GUI will provide the firefighter essential information to locate and secure the water sources.

Simple Math Game - Developing Edu Game Incorporating Kinect Sensor

It was for my undergraduate senior project (2012). 

Purpose of the game :

Encourage kids learning math

Balancing between mental and physical exercise

Exploring the possibility of the sensors applied to gaming

Developed using XNA, the programming language is C#, PC based. 

3 Months project research.

Players will have to "catch" the answer in order to gain point. If exceed the time limit, within 3 tries, it will be game over.

Fancy Hit - iPad games app

Team of 6: Using similar mechanism of air hockey game, except player have to attack other's base instead of putting the puck to the hole. Embedded 5 scenarios and addition 9 magic boxes that have uniques special effects to assist the players.  Developed using Cocos2d game engine and Chipmunk physics engine.

Personal Distribution: -Designed all of the game objects model -Programmed different kinds of special effects affecting the rackets using Obj. C

High Dynamic Range Rendering with OpenGL

 October 2012 to December 2012

This is the final project for 3-D Graphics and Rendering

- An OpenGL project that performs high dynamic range rendering and shows the difference with it on and off on several models. - Focused on the implementation of the HDR buffer, openGL render to texture and the special effects rendering

The design of The Great Escape cards. There are Warden and Prisoners cards, weapons cards, and item cards.

I chose to do the art in color and playful style in order to balance out the dark theme in the game, since it contains violence (ex: knife and pipe on weapon cards). The symbol on item cards also has special meaning (duh) that could help the players greatly. Go read the rule sheet on previous post if you want to know more about it.

The Great Escape (board game)

    The Great Escape is a board game with theme Prison. Requires at least 2 players: 1 as Prisoner and another as Warden. Ideally it is for 4 players, however in 2 players case, the player who act as prisoner can handle all 3 prisoner tokens in order to make life easier. 

Story/Mission

Welcome to Michael John Prison! Your warden Michael has maintained a maximum security prison for several decades now but today his reputation is under threat – a massive riot has begun and several break outs are being attempted. It is now up to you to grab this opportunity and try to escape yourself while trying to avoid the warden’s force. You have 20 hours (20 minutes in game time) to strategize, gather the equipments from across various places in the facility, build a kickass tool and reach the breakout zone to escape!
