29th&30th Nov '17

A few things to be said. First of all, I've decided to go back to writing in English (I used to run a fitblr some years ago) mostly because that feels better I don't know why. Also, I think medical students will be fluent enough to understand what I write even if their Spanish asses don't want to make the effort. And, of course, followers.

Now, I wrote a post yesterday but my shitty wifi fucked it up, I lost the connection while uploading it and never again saw it. To sum up, I finished the patient log for my Degree Essay and had zero time to study MIR. But what was most traumatic was that my gf wanted to buy me a gorgeous brand new laptop and they didn't want to split the payment because her ID wasn't updated (and she'll have to wait like a month to get a new one, so...) So I have no computer. 14 months since mine died and counting. But I can't blame her, she's been breaking her ass to get it, we just aren't lucky.

Today I got up at 6am to prepare my math lessons for the afternoon and I didn't finish it until 11am, I swear my braind couldn't fit even one more equation even if I tried.

I can't to get my new Winsor&Newton watercolor set please, Amazon, hurry up!

29Nov'16 O cuando vas a tu tarea rutinaria de revisar pacientes y te llevas un Prick-test de regalo. Al menos mo me ha salido ninguna alergia nueva más allá de mis viejos amigos los ácaros. He tenido una desilusión esta tarde y es que pensaba que por fin iba a poder ser la dueña de un nuevo y reluciente portátil, pero la atención al cliente de Carrefour deja un poquito que desear y al final nos hemos ido con dos palmos de narices, Kaith más triste aún que yo por no poder darme el regalito... Supongo que en otra ocasión será... :( Al menos luego hemos vuelto a casa y hemos pedido un montón de cosillas en Amazon y Forever21 (acuarelas yayyyyyyyyyy). Y no he podido estudiar los tres temas que me tocaban hoy, pero al menos he hecho la mitad del más largo (quién me iba a decir a mí que las anemias hemolíticas iban a dar tanto trabajo). Peeeero mañana será un día mejor. En estas carreras lo importante es no parar nunca y avanzar con ánimo por poquito que sea. ¡¡Mucho ánimo con vuestra semana, que ya nos queda solamente la mitad!!

A pesar de haber estado 13h y media fuera de casa, no me siento productiva en absoluto.

He pasado toda la mañana en el hospital haciendo mi base de datos y aunque ya llevo 24 pacientes me queda más de media carpeta por revisar. MUCHA MÁS DE MEDIA CARPETA. Así que mañana repetimos planazo (yupiiii 😢). Al menos puedo decir que volver a estar en consulta y ver pacientes aunque fuese de modo indirecto ha sido bastante estimulante. Con toda la teoría que he tenido para acabar las asignaturas, hacía tiempo que no pisaba el hospital.

Luego hacer la comida corriendo, multitasking de comer/ver Brooklin99 con mi señora (que a partir de hoy la llamaremos Kaith)/repasar las integrales del demonio. Todo en un marvilloso récord de 40 minutos antes de irme a trabajar (kill me, pls).

Y no me siento productiva porque no he tocado nada MIR, pero bueno, debo acostumbrarme a que algunos días simplemente el planning no da para más.

Ay, dios, menudo día el de hoy.

Por la mañana, dos temazos de Hematología (linfoma de Hodgkin y no Hodgkin). Por la tarde, preparar la tabla para recoger los datos de mi TFG, leer algo de bibliografía al respecto, repasito al tema de fisiología sanguínea y generalidades de las anemias (trabajo adelantado de mañana) y, para terminar, me ha tocado aprender a interpretar gráficamente las derivadas y a integrar. Sí, a integrar. Porque además de estar con la Medicina, doy clases particulares de 2º de Bachillerato y este año ha sido el primero que me he atrevido a dar matemáticas. Y claro, como yo no las cogí en el instituto, ahora estoy aprendiendo todo 24 horas antes de explicarlo.

Volviendo a lo importante. Me han quedado unos resúmenes PARA MORIRSE. Una cara de folio por cada tipo de linfoma. Creo que estoy mejorando bastante en esto de sintetizar y preparar información ordenadita. Algún día, lo mismo hasta escribo en líneas rectas.

Mañana voy al hospital a revisar las historias clínicas que me tocan (unas 120, poquita cosa jajaja) y por la tarde a trabajar, así que el estudio MIR se postpone hasta el miércoles.
