ngl im really glad to see more uhm?? diverse fandoms touch animation memes because back in like 2016-2019 animation memes were hella limited to either furry OCs and the current youtube-popular fandoms (undertale (okay, undertale was everywhere), bendy, cuphead, eddsworld etc... now it seems like people from other fandoms with older audiences take animation memes more seriously (I feel like they're commonly seen as cringe) and join in on the fun!!!

hi tracy!!!! this probably has been asked (and answered) before, but is the animated show's story going to follow the comic? if so, is it going to be 1 to 1 or will certain parts differ (other than dialogue changes and presentation)? will we see the Arbogasts in their morbid glory, Mordecai experiencing the spontaneity of a chicken™ in a hotel, and/or the events leading and preceding Rocky's gaping head injury?

The characters, their motivations, their hang-ups, the major set pieces, and the overall premise of the story remain the same. There are many scenes and arcs you will recognize if you've read the comic, and there are many scenes that will be new, or presented in a different way. Some things have been rearranged in the order they happen in the comic. A few things have been trimmed to make room for focus on what seems most important, and some extra things have been added too.

So, it's not 1 for 1, exactly. It's alike...but different.
