This post is self indulgent/niche and has holistar spoilers so its going under the read more yaaay

So like over a year ago everyone was doing hexafusions (?) or whatever its called and i started doing it and then. Did not finish LOL so this was me finishing it …yay!! I went with todo childe and nanaki for obvious reasons and came out with this and im gonna talk about it cuz it was fun and im under the read more now anyway so i can do whatever i want forever

This is the most normal straight forward one. I figured their mashup would still be a cute neet with a deep desire for human connection. Just a meek guy who rarely leaves his parents house and spends his allowance on cute comforts like clothes and stuffed animals. The original design i made a year ago was fine! A little boring but i mostly agreed 👍

For some reason me from a year ago really struggled with the childe mashups cuz i hate the original swing at this one so bad. Just a very shallow boring take on a todo childe mashup… SMH…… On the second swing i just tried to srsly consider what would happen if you mixed them into one guy rather than just mixing up how they looked. Cute and charming diplomat who maybe killed a couple people sometimes maybe stop bringing that up omggggggg you ppl are just obsessed eye roll emoji. Polite public face vs catty private face. naturally with that in mind the outfit was a lot more fun to draw.

The old design isnt as bad as the last one but i still found it to be pretty underwhelming and boring. I figured the childe/nanaki mashup would have some kind of nauseating destiny he wants no part in and went through a Demian like breaking of the shell moment (cuz they both canonically reference the book) or something. Doesnt want to hurt anyone and yet cant seem to stop doing so. Childe is a "fool" so i put him in a jester lite outfit and gave him a quail mask like the original. just a little guy.... should we kill him?

I never got this far the first time so i just kinda went with my gut. todo and childe both have an undeniable bloodlust so i gave him scythe (childe pole arm moment and todo... literally weapon of choice in some scenes) i also thought a bird beak scythe would be cute. figured some kind of vengeful angel thing could be fun when u consider nanaki and childe story beats. the outfit was kinda just. a random bullshit go moment but im ok with it. maybe he is a little cherub who loves being useful and serving his purpose please dont ignore him thats very rude......................

anyway this was fun! incredibly niche so im not gonna bother tagging it but i figured i would post it anyway. bye bye! |˶˙ᵕ˙ )ﾉﾞ

Sorry to make a post where I complain again but I hate how any time a bl thing and a gl thing come out around the same time and ppl point out the difference in turn out always favoring the bl thing people always come up with a specific reason for why this specific time it’s totally not about misogyny because it’s ACTUALLY just because of x y z and then they do that every time till the end of time always LOL

Honestly i wasnt planning to draw anything for todomatsu day but on a whim i decided to redraw a very old atsutodo thing and decided why not post it on 6/6 and throw in a different todomatsu drawing i did along with it

a day later morgan proposed to her

one day after that they are already having marital problems
