dan bringing up having a mental breakdown so casually and neither of them feeling the need to elaborate on it any further shows how far he’s come in the past year. he’s more open and trusting with us in regards to his mental health and it’s clear he doesn’t feel the need to keep up as much of a barrier between himself and his audience. the way that he talks about his mental state at certain points almost makes it seem as if he’s trying to normalize the discussion for us regarding our own mental health. in this essay i will explore
