trapped under the afternoon sun that beat down upon the row of stores that made up downtown, elias had been stood in this very spot all day. nobody who wandered by had been spared from his attempt at introductions, and even those who tried to avoid him still ended up with a glossy flyer begrudgingly clutched in their grip. as male waved one group of giggling women off with the promise they'd stop by his brother's service on sunday, a new passerby caught his eye, the pearly white of his smile promptly showing. “ now that's a virtuous face if ever i've seen one . . . ” big browns widened, head angled to the side as if to steal a better look at them. “ you're a local, right ? i've been seeing you around town. ”

thea can’t help the scoff that slips past her lips at the comment. she was used to men hitting on her, but she’d never heard that one before. “ virtuous? ” slowly, she turns to face him, arms crossing over her chest as her dress ruffles slightly with the movement. “ and tell me, what exactly does a virtuous face look like? ” damn. he was gorgeous. it was annoying that he was gorgeous. it was going to make it a little harder to stay irritated with him if he kept flashing her that dimpled grin.

it   wasn't   unlike   her   father   to   become   the   town   drunk   at   the   end   of   a   night   out,   he'd   gone   too   hard   as   always   and   liam   was   always   there   to   carry   him   back   home.   except   tonight   his   daughter   had   shockingly   tagged   along,   she   never   wants   to   join,   so   he   spends   the   night   completely   focused   on   her   rather   than   trying   to   sober   up   her   father.   he   takes   it   as   a   sneaky   opportunity   to   finally   get   some   sort   of   one   on   one   time   with   her.   “shit   show,   isn't   he?”   a   laugh,   turning   his   head   away   from   her   to   respectfully   blow   a   puff   of   smoke   out   and   away   from   her.

“ when isn’t he? ” she replies easily, half teasing, though the faint sadness in her eyes is impossible to miss even beneath the bright smile she offers him. harper had always been grateful for liam, for the way he somehow always managed to bring her father home in one piece. with liam around, she didn’t have to worry quite as much when her father disappeared for the night. but she still worried. about both of them. “ it’s incredibly kind of you,” the redhead says softly, meeting his eyes, “ that you’re always there to take care of him. ” they both knew her father would never show up for liam the same way. or for either of them.

open: hudson williams faces only. muse: amadeus. nepo baby/ceo, bi, twenty-six. (connor storrie: oc) connection: nepo baby x a soft baby who is barely making it. plot: amadeus comes into y/m place of work for dinner and is instantly attracted to them. so he makes a move. they quickly become his sugar baby. bonus points if y/m has a lover and is keeping this side of his life hidden from them.

Business text after business call. Damn it. Amadeus couldn't have a single moment to himself. It was really annoying and he expressed that by blowing air out of his nose like a bull. After he sent what felt like the twentieth text in a row, Amadeus saw an approaching shadow. He glanced up and his eyes widened seconds later. He saw the most beautiful man that he ever laid his eyes on. "Holy shit. You are gorgeous." Blunt. Not afraid of confrontation or awkward situations. That is two ways to describe Amadeus perfectly.

He wanted him. Amadeus knew that the moment he looked up at him and he'd be damned if he didn't get what he wanted. But he also didn't want to scare him off. So, he held up his hand in a defensive pose. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. My old man always told me that I never knew how to control my mouth. I'll take your strongest drink but I'll need a moment to look over the menu."

That was a lie. He'd been here plenty of times. He just needed a couple spare moments to collect himself before tried to put the moves on his waiter 'cause holy fuck. He didn't believe in perfection before. Now he did.

despite the fact that russell worked in customer service, he was definitely way too shy to effectively deal with patrons. he did a fine enough job, efficient with orders, but when it came to small talk and socializing, he never got as big of a tip as his sisters did. family run business. it wasn’t where russell would choose to work, but it’s where he had to. to make ends meet and to help keep up the family business. so to say that amadeus’s abrupt comment throws him off would be an understatement. cheeks quick to tint pink, mouth gaping slightly open as he eyes the other. fuck. he was hot. and this had to be a prank. the blush is rather evident, brown hues catching on a scuff mark on the table that must have been missed by the busser. he grabs the cloth hanging around his shoulder and rubs it down, unable to help but give a dismissive scoff, " right. did my sisters put you up to this? " though he makes the mistake of bringing bright eyes back up to look at the man, swallowing thickly. cruel joke, even for his sisters. amadeus was entirely out of his league. and the more those blue eyes keep looking at him like that, the harder it is for russell to breathe. when amadeus mentions his mouth, he can’t help that his gaze briefly flickers toward his before he clears his throat and straightens up. " i’ll go grab your drink now. but if you’re needing a suggestion, it’s thursday night. which means it’s the prime rib special. probably one of our most popular dishes. "

his breath hitches the moment luca feels the hand on his thigh, already feeling his pants start to tighten, " can't make any promises. other than that i promise i'll TRY to be quiet. "

“you wanna see where it happened?” his voice drops low, teasing, as he tucks his chin into the crook of their neck. his eyes flick around the space while he guides them deeper into the dark, abandoned hospital. his hands settle at their waist, fingers gripping a little tighter than necessary, excitement buzzing just under his skin.

devin had talked them into this. breaking in, poking around. the place had been empty for years, left to rot, but the ghost stories kept people curious. devin, though, had always cared more about what was real.

“people like to say it was the doctor who went crazy, but it wasn’t. it was one of the nurses. too many night shifts… they say one day she just snapped. grabbed a scalpel and just—”

he makes a slow slicing motion with his hand, grinning when their eyes go wide. a quiet laugh slips out of him as he nudges open the door to one of the old exam rooms. inside, everything’s coated in dust and grime, the air thick and stale.

while she didn’t share devin’s obsession with true crime, she had an insatiable curiosity about him that made it nearly impossible to say no. he could be convincing when he wanted to be, and most of the time he seemed to want to be. the way he talked about the things he loved was kind of cute, refreshing in a way she wasn’t used to. a sharp contrast to the long line of guys she’d dated who cared more about body counts and gym selfies than anything real. still, he confused her. she told herself she saw him as just a friend, but then there were moments like this, his face tucked into her neck, the warmth of his breath brushing her skin, goosebumps rising without her permission. she trusted him as he led her deeper into the shadows, even as her pulse started to pick up. willow swallowed thickly, not entirely sure if the unease curling in her chest was from the abandoned hospital or from how much she liked the feeling of his fingers tightening at her waist. her camera hung loosely around her neck, her own quiet obsession grounding her just enough to keep moving. “ hmm okay, ” she murmurs, glancing back at him, “ and what if one of us decides to go crazy on the other, then what? ” her gaze lingers a second longer than necessary, a smirk pulling at her lips. “ you sure you’re not the one i should be scared of? ” even if her heart is hammering hard against her ribs. she lifts her camera, snapping a quick shot of him before turning to capture the room, the shutter cutting clean through the silence.

benji took a long drag of his cigarette, keeping the silence there a little longer as he watched charlie move around. there's a small sound that left his lips, not quite a scoff, not quite a chuckle, just somewhere in between. "i'm not ignoring you. i handed you the dishes while we were at the dining table." it was petty, but what else was he supposed to say? he blew the smoke, watching it disappear into thin air. getting involved with his friends of his brother, brian, had always been something that he was banned to do, by his own brother, of course. brian didn't want him gawking over his friends, but he couldn't really stay away from charlie. not when the other looked... pleasing to the eyes. blue hues remained fixated ahead into the dark night sky, the branches of trees barely visible but catching some of the light that illuminated out from the house. he scoffed, " how big of you. " charlie retorted sarcastically. benji could barely even LOOK at charlie and now it was the raven haired male that was doing all that he could to avoid the other's gaze. nervous fingers tapped against the balcony railing. brows scrunched into a furrow, shoulders tensing up as he gave a shake of his head, " yeah well. pretty sure things got complicated the second i took your stupid dick in my mouth. " the words flew from him before he could stop them, eyes widening and a blush spreading onto his cheeks. " whatever. just . . . forget it. we can . . . just pretend like it never happened, okay? " finally he dares to meet benji's gaze, swallowing thickly, " we can just. avoid each other. fine. " charlie takes a small step forward, not really sure why. and damn betraying eyes flicker down to benji's lips just as he takes a drag, " i'm gonna go help with dessert. enjoy poisoning your lungs even further. seriously. that shit's like . . . really fucking bad for you. "

eyes were quick to roll though auggie couldn't hide the pink that crept up his neck and spread onto his cheeks, betraying him as he crossed his arms over his chest, " i still hate you, actually. "

benji had always made it clear that it was casual—no feelings, no complications. he acted normally, answering questions when asked and engaging in small talk that was too brief. as soon as they finished dinner, benji made his way out to the porch, where he lit up a cigarette. he didn't expect them to follow behind, though. "fuck," he blew out the smoke in the other direction, "don't scare me like that."

this was the last thing he ever wanted. for things to suddenly be weird between them. it was exactly why he’d tried so hard to avoid benji in the beginning, how his blue eyes would dart away anytime they shared a gaze, how he kept to himself the way benji’s face crept into his mind late at night with his hand doing sinful things beneath the sheets. benji had started this. and charlie never minded letting him take the lead before, but this… this was different. this was driving him crazy in a way he didn’t enjoy. and now benji was avoiding him entirely, pretending he was invisible and acting perfectly fine in front of their families. what did charlie do wrong? he didn’t understand. “ you’re not the only one who needed air, ” he huffed, and it was true. the collar of his sweater felt too tight; one hand braced on the balcony railing while the other tugged at the fabric as if he could pull in a better breath. “ i know you said ‘no feelings,’ but i didn’t think that meant… ignore me entirely. ”
