Mistakes or life lessons.

There is a clear difference between a mistake and a life lesson, both or neither are done to cause harm to others, both it neither are used as weapons. The difference lies in how you develop your own senses after the situation.

I have made mistakes and I have had experiences which have taught me something. It may of taught me to not trust those easily, it may of taught me how to love deeper.

I can speak from my own mind and tell you, all mistakes are life lessons, they either teach you to be strong, love more, or hide away - Depending on the situation.

This is what happens when you have a 10year old who thinks he knows everything and the world owes him something ..

Is it just me or am I the only parent who deal with this crap?

You say children are a gift, they will bring meaning to your life, bring you happiness, love and a goddamn bad attitude. I’m not going to blame video games, or my parenting skills .. I’ve accepted I’ve got a bad kid!

In all honesty .. he is such a funny, loving person. He has been dealt with a tough hand in his younger years & me and his mom to our absolute best for him, he can sometimes be an absolute golden boy, yes please, no thank you.. then others you’d think we had summonded the devil himself!

The problem we have and I believe this is the genuine reason he doesn’t have rules, now don’t get me wrong he gets told when he’s done wrong but other than that we have a very relaxed home, a little too relaxed some might say but so far it’s done us well.. Remember, he is a good kid but he’s just been abducted .. by aliens, we’re sure of it!

Can any other parents give a woman some advice,. When does the growling end! Will it get worse before it gets better? Help me out!

If you look in any dictionary you always get the same definition.

The word itself means more than its definition, it’s sometimes difficult to explain, you can’t always put a string of sentences together.

You feel fear, happiness, strength and weakness. When you find somebody who you would rather watch go on while you stand still, you know you’d rather give tour last breath to another than take it yourself.

Love doesn’t mean gifts every week, holding hands, a tiny kiss in public. It means fighting together against the world, putting somebody else’s needs ahead of your own.

I stand and stare at my other half, remembering all our small triumphs and battles we’ve faced in our early marriage, she stands and glances over her shoulder, I find myself smiling, realising just how much I would endure to keep her safe, happy and secure. She was a stranger who became my friend, from there our friendship grew and so did my love for her. The day she agreed to become my wife, I stood completely frozen, watching my life flash before my own eyes, seeing my future, the happiness she has already given me, I knew was never going to end.
