If you're a fanfiction author and you haven't done this already, start backing up all of your fics on a Google Drive.
When Post+ goes live (it will despite the backlash - Tumblr is owned by Automattic who also owns WordPress), it's going to be mass purge of fandom accounts.
You've probably already seen the posts going around stating that if you make fanworks, you legally cannot monetize. As soon as the idiots at Automattic realize this, they're going to purge fan creators. Why? Because they're also going to be dealing with lawsuits, not just the creators.
And they can write out all of the rules and terms and warnings they want before a user signs up for Post+, but that isn't gonna stop all of the fandom babies from Wattpad coming in thinking they can make money off of writing fanfiction. So the solution? Shadow banning all people who create for fandoms, driving us into a dark corner, and ultimately kicking us off the platform so it can bring in more outsiders and normies, therefore becoming more appealing to investors and advertisers.
I implore you, please read up on the history of fandoms and the great purges of fan content here and try to tell me that's not where we're headed.
đđ Idk what to even dooo đ I want to continue writing but honestly Idk how to work ao3.
Maybe Iâll start on wattpad or smt.
So for now Iâll probably continue to write on tumblr, but I will start to repost my previous work on ao3 or wattpad, once I learn how to use(ao3) it properly.
LISTEN, I KNOW THAT RIO IS A FUCKING TOP BUT I HAD TO WRITE THIS!!!
Also.Â
RioÂ
There was no way for you to realize what had happened. Your best friend was standing next to some punk. You didnât know the guy and had no intention of getting to know him. He didnât seem like her type.Â
Shaking your head, you decided to just have fun. You walked over to some of your other friends, enjoying their company. It wasnât your fault that Rio had decided to come with her new boy toy. By the glances you kept catching, you could tell that the blonde missed your company.Â
How curious.Â
The party was supposed to be a weekend thing. Two days of nonstop party, booze, and friends. It was the first day and people had already started to hook up. There were people skinny dipping in the pool.Â
Those skinny dippers were your friends. Your very idiotic friends who forgot that you loved to blackmail them. Of course, you got videos and pictures, saving them in at least three different spots just in case they tried to delete the originals.Â
You could feel her presence around you. She was of course with someone new but that didnât stop her. You felt her hand brush against yours, trying to interlock.Â
She had her opportunity long ago. That didnât stop you from being curious about how her relationship was going. With just a glance you could see that the blonde was getting frustrated. She wanted to come over and talk to you but you were distracted.Â
A girl had caught your eye and you were now talking to her. You never got her name but all you knew was that she was hot and single.Â
The night was going fine talking to the girl but then the blonde grabbed your hand and dragged you into another room of the house.Â
Before you could fully comprehend it, she had pushed you against the wall, her lips connecting to yours. Of course, you kissed back, flipping positions.Â
Her back was pinned against the wall as you began to make out. Your lips wandered, lowering to her jawline and moving to where her jawline and neck met. You knew she wanted to continue but you pulled away from her, lingering close to where you knew she could feel you.Â
âWhat would he think, Rio? If he knew that my hands have been where he will never get?â You could feel the goosebumps rise on her skin as your breath hit her ear. âIâm just curious⊠is it serious?âÂ
Her breath hitched as you kissed her sweet spot before pulling away. You grinned at her the way you knew she loved. âThink about that, babe.âÂ
You left the room, leaving her and her thoughts alone.
this is not a movie nor a song lyric but thereâs something thatâs been bugging my mind lately and uh.. itâs âdonât call me that, call me by my first name. call me like you always used to. donât pretend that you donât know me.â ((maybe reader and karma broke up idk i just love angst..))
i want to warn that this does get very angsty, very upsetting, and very deep. well. possibly. with the right song, it might have you crying. anyways, please know that all of you are amazing and deserve the word â€ïžđ„ș
Love doesnât last forever. Everyone knows that. That never stopped you from hoping and wishing that it did.Â
There had been so much heartbreak you had gone through. When you got close to Karma, you thought everything was going good. Everything had been going good.Â
The two of you had become best friends and you always thought it might become something more than that. You wanted to be more than that. Karma treated you like a human being. Like someone deserving of respect.Â
No one had ever treated you like that. You thought you had a chance. You thought he was the one. You had split your heart out to him on multiple occasions when you were at your lowest. You always told him you were there for him as well.Â
The feelings you felt for him got too much and you told him how you felt towards him. To your surprise, Karma said he felt the same way. You two started dating.Â
You donât know what caused it but he started to drift away from you. He wouldnât answer messages youâd send him. He would straight up ignore you when you were hanging out with friends.Â
He barely showed any attention towards you. It really hurt to see him get like this. All you wanted to do was help him but it was hard to do that when he wouldnât let you close to him.Â
But like every relationship does, it got to its end.Â
Karma told you that he couldnât see it working out between you two. Your heart broke again and you felt a sword stab itself into your heart, down to the hilt. Everything felt so numb and you didnât want it to be reality.Â
Mere weeks had passed and he went back to his old habits. He started calling you by your last name. He started to taunt and tease you. Karma acted like you were a new person every time you saw him.
It all bubbled and boiled over one day. He was taunting you again, calling you âpestâ, and you snapped. You turned on him, tears in your eyes. âDonât call me that! Call me by my first name! Call me like you always used to do! Please, Karma! Please, donât ignore me!â you shouted at him.Â
You shook your head and looked down when he didnât respond. Despite all the tears, you didnât want to let yourself cry in front of him.Â
Karma laughed loudly as he walked closer. He put his hand underneath your chin and lifted your head up. âDonât you understand, (L/N)? You were simply a pawn in my master plan. No one cares about pawns.â With that, he gave you one last smirk and turned, walking off.Â
âGirl let me love you And I will love you Until you learn to love yourself.â from Ne-Yoâs Let me love you.
sorry this took so long but i wanted to make sure i got this right for you! i know you like angst so i tried to make this angsty for you, my friend! â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž warning: online bullying
You felt love for everyone.Â
Everyone but yourself.Â
Someone could compliment you and your reaction was always, âThank you, but thatâs not right!â You would always laugh it off with the biggest smile. You never broke down no matter what happened.Â
People thought you might be with someone who more matched your levels of innocence. None of them ever thought that you would be with the Red Devil himself, Karma Akabane.Â
He was so completely sinful everyone was worried heâd corrupt you. You didnât have to worry about that. You knew he loved his pranks and always listened to his crazy stories. There was a new one everyday.Â
Throughout your entire relationship, you made sure to keep your head high and your smile wide. Karma had never seen you once break down in any way.Â
Something that he was overly used to was you surprising him with a picture. He knew that you used social media even if he didnât. You really did love to take pictures of places you and your friends would go for fun and post them.Â
There were always issues that you would face due to being online but you would never bother anyone with them.Â
There was one day when Karma was hanging out with a few of his classmates. Nagisa had gotten a notification on his phone that you had recently posted a picture on one of your platforms. Now, Karma always loved to have pictures of you on his phone so he had asked to see it.Â
Nagisa handed his phone over - something he rarely did because it was Karma. âPlease just donât fuck up my phone again,â he said with a nervous laugh.Â
Karma scoffed and waved aside the concern. He scrolled through your feed, smiling at how happy you looked in the pictures. There was one picture that he couldnât help but stare at. You were wearing an outfit that you had been really happy to put together. The comments grabbed his attention.Â
xxxx: that outfit just makes you look fat
xxxxxxx: protip! dont smile
xxxxxx: how are you able to have a boyfriend when you look like dog shit?
The comments went on like that. Karma went to other posts and found that there were some like that under every post.Â
At that point, he was livid. He wanted to find each and every person who made those comments and make them pay. He wanted to literally smash their heads into the cold, hard, pavement.Â
No one should ever disrespect someone heâs close to, especially you. Karma handed Nagisa his phone back. âI have to go,â he said quickly. He grabbed his stuff and called you, worry picking at him.Â
His mind was racing. He knew that you were struggling with your body image and that these comments werenât helping. Why didnât you come to him? Why didnât you tell him about what was wrong?Â
As soon as Karma got to your house, he used the key you gave him to get inside. He knew you were going to be here - your last picture was of you in your room. He made his way to your room, knocking before opening your door.Â
You werenât inside but he could hear you. You were letting out soft cries and he could hear it. â(Y/N)? Babe, are you okay?â he called out. Karma immediately went to the bathroom. The door was closed and locked, making an already worried Karma, even more worried. â(Y/N), please.â His voice was soft.Â
He heard you sigh from the other side. Your voice was shaky and uneven. âIâmâŠ. Iâm okay, Kar. You donât have to worry about me,â you said from the other side.Â
Little did he know that you were in a downward spiral. The people telling you those awful things online. The feelings of dread you got whenever clothes didnât fit. The feeling of not being good enough for Karma swallowed you up most.Â
You had no idea how you were able to get with a guy like Karma. He was so sweet and he loved you with all his heart. At least you hoped he did.Â
Karma didnât want you to be alone. âI know youâre not okay. I know that youâre going through shit,â he said, leaning against the bathroom door. âI donât want you to go through this alone.â You listened to his words, not wanting to say anything. âYou shouldnât listen to what those people say about you. Theyâre all wrong.â
You took a deep breath, trying to wipe away your tears as you heard him. His voice was filled with so much worry but held so much care in every word. You finally opened the door, causing Karma to almost fall to the ground if he had not gained his balance quickly.Â
Just as he was regaining his balance, he almost fell over again, getting tackled in your hug. You started to cry into his chest, holding onto him. He held onto you tightly, gently moving the two of you to the ground.Â
Karma hated to see you like this. He hadnât ever wanted to see you so broken. âI promiseâŠ. (Y/N), I promise, I will love you and I will love you,â he whispered softly to you. âI will love you until you learn to love yourself and even after that.â
no no itâs okay! no one pressured me! i decided to do it mostly out of boredom and that i have more confidence than i normally do right now đ also wanted to try a style that i normally am not skilled in so sorry in advance
ooo boy
how much am i exposing myself here, i donât know
Karma would think that you only went vanillaÂ
he would be very surprised when he found outÂ
granted, youâd most likely still be a blushing mess
heâll be really patient if you get really nervousÂ
Karma would cup his hand on your cheek to try to calm you down
âWhat is it you want, kitten?â
âMake me scream your name.â
cue cocky bastard Karma
but he would do anything you ask of him
want to be tied up?
heâd do it
want to be edged?
itâs a chance to let his sadism run wild
if you want to ride him, heâll totally be into it
but heâs really not to type to be on bottom
as much as he does love seeing you bounce on his dick
he will flip the roles quickly, landing himself on top
if you can trick him into being tied up tho đđ
thatâs a whole other story
heâll be pissed but enjoy the hell out of seeing bouncing on top of him
if you tell him youâre into choking, oh boy good luck
he will bring it outside of the bedroom if he needs to
makes you stop what youâre doing just about every time
but inside the bedroom, he applies the right amount of pressure in the right place?
youâll be moaning so loud that heâll thrust harder and faster into you
ask him for overstim i dare you
heâd tie you up and tease your for hours on end
this should be a given but Karma is a god at giving oral especially when heâs able to mix it with overstim and edging
he will leave you shaking and begging for him to either stop or to let you cum or who knows, maybe both
if you asked him for all your kinks in one night?
canât guarantee that youâll be able to walk in the morningÂ
âno matter where you are, or what youâre doing, or who youâre with, i will always honestly, truly, completely love you.â from love, rosie! ((i would like it angsty please.. thank you))
i watched the movie while writing this to get a feel of the prompt. i loved it more than i thought lol i hope this is the angst that you wanted!
In life, there were no true happy endings. They were rare. Everyone wanted a happy ending but almost no one got any. Youâve known that ever since you were a kid. But you still wished for one.Â
You and Karma had been friends for a long, long time. He would always come over whenever his parents werenât around so he was around for a long time. You had somewhat managed to grow a small crush on him sometime around the start of middle school.Â
He was always here for you and you were always there for him. You knew about his mischievous ways. You knew about all the trouble he caused on a daily basis. You always supported it. You always let him know what was going on through small letters sent back and forth.Â
Even when Karma managed to get his first partner, you were happy for him. It mightâve made you upset but you knew that more than anything, you had to be there for him.Â
The months that followed were weird ones. You and Karma had slowly grown apart. You would contact him and ask to talk to him but he wouldnât respond. You still sent him the notes. He almost never responded any more.Â
You still saw him during school and when walking home. When you got a job, he would walk in and walk right past you. You didnât know what caused it but it hurt. It didnât seem like he really cared about you anymore.Â
It had festered and grew inside. There was no telling what might happen in the future. Your heart ached to hang out with him again and to be friends with him once more. You needed to confront him.Â
So thatâs what you did. With your head held high, you went to his house and knocked on the door. Karma opened it, his neutral expression slowly growing into a sly smirk. âCan I help you?â he asked. His tone was more teasing and playful than anything. It made you nervous.Â
âC-Can we talk?â you asked him. Your voice was soft. When you looked at him, he was looking back. âWe havenât hung out in a while and I was just ho-âÂ
You were cut off by someone behind him, calling him name. He turned back to the sound for a moment before turning back to you. âSorry. I have to go,â he said. âIâm sure we can talk about whatever it is some other time, yeah?â With that, he closed the door in your face. He left you out in the cold night.Â
Deep down, you knew that this wouldâve happened. Childhood friendships didnât last forever.Â
You went home and put on your feels playlist. Your friendship might be ruined for a long, very long time.
-- --
It had been about five years since you had last talked to Karma. The two of you had made your ways into high school. You still saw him around while at work but you never interacted with him. You still sent him small notes but never got anything back.Â
During the middle of the year, you had found out that Karma had plans to go to college out of the country. You wouldâve gone with him if it werenât for familial issues and the separation of your friendship. It was him who had talked about going to colleges together.Â
You had definitely applied and had managed to make it in. But limited scholarships were given. You couldnât pay for the schools, tuition alone would put you and your family in massive debt.Â
Karma had already left to go to school.
There was a school that you had managed to get a full ride scholarship on. But that plan was soon put to rest and abandoned when bad news hit.Â
Your father - the main support of your familyâs financials - had died of a heart attack.Â
School could wait. You had to support your family in any way you could. Karam had contacted you. He said that he was sorry for your loss and that he wished he could be there for you. You were happy he even reached out.Â
Years still passed and there was still limited contact between you and Karma. There were times when you would rarely get any response. Each of you still had partners that would come and go.Â
Throughout all that time, you knew that deep down you still had feelings for him. He was someone you could see your life with. But he mustâve thought otherwise.Â
A wedding invite came in the mail. His partner wanted you to be their right hand.Â
Happiness filled your chest but the ache in your heart still overpowered it. You would still go to show support but damn. It hurt.Â
The plane ride there was a difficult thing. You didnât get to the wedding in time, only getting to the church as the newlyweds walked out.Â
You forced your tears back and replaced it with a fake smile as you followed them to the reception. You sat at the table with Karma and his partner. They looked so happy together. It broke your heart but you didnât want to show it.Â
You watched in agonizing pain. They danced, smiling as if everything in the world was okay.Â
Tears welled up. Exhaling a sigh, you walked outside. It was painful to see the person you love dancing with someone else. âHey,â you heard his voice from behind you. âWhy arenât you inside? You should be enjoying yourself.â
This was the most you had heard him say to you. You shook your head and shrugged, faking a smile again. âItâs too crowded inside,â you easily lied. You walked over and sat on a bench, looking down at your feet. You couldnât meet his eyes.Â
Karma sighed as he walked over and sat next to you. âItâs actually not that crowded inside,â he said, his head held high. âI know that things between us havenât been that well. But Iâm so happy that you were able to be here.â He smiled happily.Â
It was the happiest that you had seen him in ages. Slowly nodding, you looked over at him. âI have a plane to catch in a few hours,â you told him quietly. âIâm going back to help my mom.â You turned to look at him, trying hard not to let him see the heartbreak in your eyes.
Karma was a huge part of your life. You were losing him. âWeâve been through a lot as friends. I will always be around to help you through whatever and whenever,â you said. Your voice was shaking. âNo matter where you are, or what youâre doing, or who youâre with, I will always honestly, truly, completely love you.â You were so close to crying at this point, cursing yourself for pausing so long. âAs a friend, of course.âÂ
Before he could say anything in response, you quickly turned and walked away. You got into your car and drove far enough away. You parked in a lot by a park and started to sob.Â
You love Karma. You would always be happy for him no matter what happened. But tonight reinforced your belief. In life, there were never true happy endings.
Heres an idea for the lyric/line prompt: " I woke up in Chris Browns body, somehow this sh*t turned into freaky friday" The song is called.'Freaky Friday' and its about 2 people waking up in the morning and finding themselves in someone else's body ( sorry if you dont like the idea is the first song that came to mind, stay safe and goodbye)
no no no, itâs perfect! i hope you donât mind that i tied in a soulmate prompt iâve been wanting to do as wellÂ
"I woke up in Chris Brownâs body, somehow this sh*t turned into freaky friday"
There was always a legend that went around. Everyone knew of it. Not many believed in soulmates but it was a true thing that happened.Â
The day you and your soulmate are to meet, the two of you switch bodies for the day. Of course not everyone has a soulmate. Some arenât destined to have a soulmate.Â
Karma Akabane had heard the legends but didnât believe in the concept of soulmates. He thought it was stupid to have a love life determined for you. He had seen what would happen if soulmates didnât get along and he knew what might happen.Â
He was really hoping he would never have a soulmate.Â
But alas, that didnât work. He found that to be true when he woke up in a room different to his.Â
The room was covered in drawings and posters and all sorts of things that he knew he wouldnât have put up. This room had painted walls, the shade one he could never see having in his own room.Â
He groaned, letting out a long string of courses. Of all the things he didnât want, this was the main thing. Karma stood up and found a mirror to look at himself in.Â
Karma searched through the piles of clothing that were scattered in heaps on the floor. He picked up one of shirts laying on top of a pile, uncharacteristically jumping back at the sudden movement from beneath. âRrr?âÂ
The head of a baby (cat/dog) turned towards him. âSo they like (cats/dogs)âŠ,â he thought to himself. Karma inched closer to the small thing, noting the collar. He held out their hand, the (dog/cat) moving closer. It felt weird to be in control of someone elseâs body.Â
A smile grew on their lips as he checked the collar. âTilly,â the collar read. Karma let go of the collar and grabbed a pair of sweatpants off the floor. He walked into a close bathroom and quickly changed, avoiding looking in the mirror.Â
If anyone else was in the house, this would be hard to explain.
-- --
Karma walked down the street, internally glad that it was a break. He didnât know if he could handle his friends - or any of theirs - in this state. He wasnât even sure if this was a good idea, going to a cafe.Â
He had seen a list of favorite places in the notes section of his soulmateâs phone - thank god for fingerprint ID. He walked in and looked around. It looked cozy. A large bookshelf lined one wall while multiple tables were scattered around the room.Â
âHey, (Y/N)!âÂ
He didnât look around until the name was called again. The barista was leaning against the counter, her hat on backwards. She was attractive. Karma put on a smile, hoping the signature smirk he would normally wear shown through even in this body.Â
Walking over to the counter, he looked at the menu. Before he could even open their mouth to order, the girl in front of him cut him off. âI already have your special in the works,â she said. The grin on her face was growing big. âYou know, someone else ordered the exact same thing. No one ever orders your drink.âÂ
Their head tilted as Karma became heavily confused. âThey have their own drink?â he thought. âWho was it?â their voice came out. The barista pointed to someone in the crowd and Karma turned. He saw himself, sitting at a table with a wide, happy smile. There was a brightly colored drink and a plate littered with crumbs.Â
Karma managed to walk over and sit down across from himself. His bodyâs head raised and locked eyes with him.Â
In a simple blink, each of them were back in their own bodies.Â
The person in front of him smiled sweetly at him, moving the plate and cup over in front of them. âWhatâs weird is that I see you pass by every day. I see you walk in front of the cafe, like, all the time,â they said, taking a sip from the drink.Â
He could still taste the drink on his lips. Karma watched your body movements. The way they messed with the cup and moved crumbs around on the plate. âI always thought you were attractive, Iâm not going to lie. B-But umâŠâ There was a blush going across their cheeks and neck. âI donât know how you feel about the whole soulmate thing. Do you think we could be friends first? Get to know each other?â
Despite his neutral face, he was somewhat taken aback. Karma expected (Y/N) to be someone absolutely in love with the soulmate predicament. He wasnât really expecting this.Â
So with a sly smile, he gave a single nod and held out his hand. âKarma.â
They gave a giddy smile, taking his hand in their own. â(Y/N).â
i wrote this at like 4 am after waking up from a bad nightmare. like âforce myself awakeâ nightmare. đ none of itâs mentioned in this and i revised it once i was actually, fully awake so itâs not that bad. also, this is something i wanted to write and share really quickly, i promise i am working on requests
warning: mentions of death + violenceÂ
The nights were the worst. No matter what you tried, everything would end horribly. No matter how many sleeping pills you took, you still woke up. Nightmares plagued your head, forcing you to lay awake in bed alone. Whenever you were able to fall asleep, itâs when you were with Karma. Heâs always fallen asleep first. You would lay next to him, memorizing his features before falling asleep.
No matter how badly you tried to keep a bland mind, a clear head, you would still have nightmares. Images of blood and violence went in slowed flashes through my head. You saw close friends injured and killed in various ways. The worst part was seeing Karma injured and no matter how hard you tried, you couldnât get close to him to help.
Your eyes fluttered open and you sat up quickly. You looked around, making sure everything was okay. That you were home. Karma was still asleep next to you, thank god.
You panted heavily, trying to keep tears back. You didnât want to make too much noise incase Karma woke up. The room was so silent and dark. You leaned forwards and put your head in your hands. Those images were so painful. You took deep breaths and wiped away stray tears, one hand clenching the blanket.
Arms wrapped around your waist, a hand resting on top of yours. You turned your head to see Karma. Nothing needed to be said. He just held you as you did you best to calm down.Â
I was watching this movie called Mr. Right and itâs absolutely adorable and comedic. i heard these lines and knew i had to write something with it
âYou just like seeing me tied up. You. Pervert!â
âThatâs true.âÂ
Warning: cursing and some violence
Karma was 75% pissed off. The other 25% was just annoyed.Â
He just wanted to go on a date with (Y/N). He had told you straight up that he was a retired hitman but you thought he was just joking. Well at least until you had actually seen him take anotherâs life. (Y/N) had to process it but you ended up still loving him.Â
There was a part of him that regretted getting so close to you. Karma shouldâve known that something like this would happen but he just loved (Y/N) so much.Â
Technically this wasnât his fault. Someone wanted him to kill their brother but apparently didnât know about Karmaâs moral code. He didnât kill anymore. He killed people but also killed the people who hired him.Â
Cause you know. Killing is bad. But nobodyâs perfect.
But after his conversation with (Y/N), he promised you he wouldnât kill anymore. He didnât even want to kill this guy. Come on, he was not about to start some sort of inner gang war. It would create a target on his back.
Karma sighed as he looked up at the large building in front of him. He was a bit banged up from a few hours ago when the - as (Y/N) would call them - âpoopy-headsâ had tried to kill him and taken you instead. Nothing he couldnât handle. The conversation he had with you was still a bit fresh in his mind.Â
The two of you had been hunched down behind a table. There were a bunch of baddies with guns pointed at you. âOkay, Iâm going to kill one of those people,â he told you, loading his gun. You nodded, finding him really hot in the moment.
âNo, no, itâs cool,â you said quickly.Â
âItâs the last one, I promise.â He looked up at you.
âNo, I donât care.âÂ
âYeah, you say that but later in the car youâll just-â
You cupped your hand over his mouth. âI donât care!â
Karma scoffed a bit at the memory, walking up the stairs into the building. He was cursing himself out for letting someone get the drop on him. It was so annoying to him. Karma had no intention of killing anyone. Just like. Shooting them in the kneecap.Â
He hummed as he looked towards one of the windows. Why go through the door when thereâs a perfectly good window. Karma smirked as he climbed up through the window, finding four hired arms aiming their guns at him. There were also two guys by a big desk. âHey, guys,â he said. âYou know, I donât like the fact that you beat me up and took my partner.âÂ
No one responded and they all decided to go after him at once. Bad decision. The first guy tried to shoot him in the head. Karma ducked out of the shot and managed to shoot him in the thigh. It wasnât of much importance but before long, the only people left were the ones by the desk.Â
The guy standing with a large gun in his hands was struggling. Karma watched him struggle for a few moments before grabbing his own gun and shooting the guy in the foot. âMotherfucker!â the guy cried out, stumbling backwards, clutching his foot. âSon of a bitch, man!â
Karma huffed and pointed his gun at the guy sitting. âWhere are they?â he asked calmly.Â
The guy held up his hands and leaned back. âFuck you,â he said. Karma glared and thought it over.
There was a debate in his head. Kill the guy, end up finding (Y/N) on his own, and possibly losing your respect. Or. Donât kill the guy, find (Y/N) on his own, and keep your respect. He exhaled and lowered the gun. âYeah, alright. Iâll find them myself,â he said, turning to walk out the door.Â
The guy Karma shot in the foot stopped to call out to him, âWhat? Wait, wait, wait. Donât you want to kill him?â Karma turned to the guy, his expression annoyed as hell. He could feel himself getting more and more pissed off. âDo the hitman thing you do?âÂ
Karma started to sputter and shook his head. âYeah, no. I promised my partner. Iâm not doing that shit anymore,â he said. The other one looked at Karma in shock and confusion. Karma smiled, remembering the first time he saw you.Â
This caused the shot-in-the-foot-guy to get extremely angered. âI brought you all the way out here! To kill him!â he shouted, pointing at the other guy.Â
Karma looked back and forth between the two people. He nodded slowly and started to back out. âYou know. I think Iâll just get going. You two seem to have a bunch of stuff to work out so Iâll just be going,â he said, nodding. âHave fun.â
The rest of the house was full of baddies that he managed to effectively take down pretty easily. It was an insult to his skill level. There was only one place he hadnât checked yet. He walked over to a still closed door and kicked it open, gun raised. The only thing in the room was you, duct taped to a chair. âHey, babe!â he said with a sly smile.Â
You perked up, managing to convey a smile despite duck tape over your mouth. âHey, honey!â you tried to say, your voice muffled. Karma chuckled and walked over, taking the tape off. âOw!â you shouted, shaking your head and trying to stretch your mouth to try to stop the stinging sensation.Â
Karma winced, wadding up the tape and tossing it aside. âSorry. That was thoughtless,â he said. He stood over you, smirking. He was getting distracted, admiring how you looked in the moment. He managed to get lost in thoughts of the non innocent. You looked at him confused, tugging against the restraints. âDamn, youâre hot,â he mumbled.Â
You threw your head back with a laugh. âPfft. You just like seeing me tied up,â you said, looking up at him, trying to fight back a smile. You broke and smiled up at him. âYou. Pervert.â You just scoffed and shook your head up at him.
He chuckled and gave you a shrug. âThatâs true,â he admitted. He tilted his head in thought before shaking it off. âJust uh.. Lemme get you out of that.â Karma pulled out one of his knives and quickly cut the restraints off. He helped you up, taking note of just how bad your injuries were.Â
The knife was quickly sheathed, his gun taking the knifeâs spot in his hand. He walked out with you by his side, ready to strike down anyone who tried to attack. âDo you have a car ready or did you hike?â you attempted to joke.Â
Your lover hummed, turning his head to press a kiss right above your ear. Karma and you walked out of the building towards a car. âWhy hike when thereâs a perfectly good vehicle to steal?â he responded. You got into the passenger seat as he got into the driverâs seat.Â
For the first few minutes, the two of you had been talking endlessly. But now, you had gone silent, worrying Karma. He took glances over at you and saw your sleeping form. In his mind, you looked so peaceful and happy. Thatâs all he wanted for you.Â
He reached over and placed his hand against your cheek. Karmaâs normal, snarky disposition melted away as you leaned into his touch.Â
In that moment, he silently promised you that he would do anything and everything to protect you.
