Over the past month some very kind people made a bunch of beautiful drawings of my OC, Hazenthia the Coffee Witch. I am extremely flattered and grateful that these wonderful artists took the time to contribute to this jam!

Why I’ve been MIA
Hey everyone! I’m writing to give a brief explanation of why I seemed to drop off the face of the internet.
Back in April my girlfriend was diagnosed with a very rare medical condition that prevented her from walking, standing, or sitting upright for any extended period of time. She could not drive or work and I was essentially her sole care-giver while she was waiting for treatment.
I won’t be revealing the name of the condition because it is rare enough that it can be used to identify her through her social media history. What I will say is that it took a long time to get a proper diagnosis and that we spent the last 6 months in and out of different hospitals and specialists’ offices. Eventually it was decided that the best course of treatment was a fully invasive surgical procedure.
Fortunately we live in an area where we have access to some of the finest surgeons in the world. After nearly 6 months of fear and uncertainty she underwent surgical treatment. It was a major success! We are overjoyed and eternally grateful to the surgical team for what they were able to accomplish with her.
While she is not yet fully recovered from the surgery, she is pain free and capable of moving and living with an autonomy she has not had for almost half a year. I am proud of her for struggling through such a difficult portion of her life and coming out on the other side of it intact. After a little more rest she will return to work, and so will I.
To all the people who have sent me commission inquiries: I’m sorry I haven’t replied to your emails. I am still closed for commissions until I am able to shake the rust off of my digital art. Some time in the next week I will formally announce a free sketch giveaway event that I will be conducting through my Picarto.tv channel. Please stay tuned for more on that! Thank you everyone who stuck around despite my long absence. I will be back in full force shortly.
