True… We could always just get something for us at the street food vendors and just get ice cream for her so then we know that she’ll be fine eating it because what kind of dog doesn’t like ice cream? { `smiles as his eyes glance over to the guitarist, even as he’s still being tugged about by the puppy. } Marble, you’re gonna choke yourself if you keep fighting the leash. { `clucks his tongue, chuckling a bit as he tries to extend his arm out as far as he can but then it only makes it worse, causing him to yelp slightly; feeling as though his arm is going to be ripped out of its socket. though, he’s glad once they all come to a halt in front of the vendor; eyeing everything they have. } I’ll have tteokbokki, too. { `blinks a few times, peering down at Marble before crouching down slightly to get eye level with her while cooing quietly. } Marble, would you like some odeng? { `he receives a kiss as a response, though he’s not sure how to take it. he stands back up and laughs. } We can see if she likes it.

If she doesn't like the odeng, we can get her ice cream. Dogs can have ice cream, right? I mean, sugar and dairy won't make her sick, will it? {` he blinks, having no idea as he's not at all experienced with taking care of dogs; even the ones at the apartment, the vocalist tends to more often than not, and when he's fed them he's only refilled their bowls with the bag of dry dog food they keep in the kitchen. what kind of treats they can be fed is lost on him, as he was never a dog person in the past, and the last thing he wants is to unintentionally make one of their pets sick. turning to the vendor, he orders two servings of tteokbokki and some odeng without the broth, handing over the appropriate amount of money and smiling in thanks as the food is handed to them, accepting it all and passing one of the cups of tteokbokki to his fiance before he kneels down in front of the puppy} Marble, do you want? {` tearing off a small piece of the fishcake and offering it to her, he lets out a soft chuckle as she immediately takes it from his fingers and eats it happily}

(‘he opens the door wider to invite the same-age friend into the dorm, his eyes on the stuff he had brought with him) I’m glad you brought them! The perfect combo for a good kimchi ramyun stew if you were going to stay overnight. (‘he grinned, closing the door behind him, following the guest into their dorm) Everything’s the way it was since you last came here. I hope you’ll be as comfortable as you used to be. (‘he nodded once, and proceeded to keep away the vacuum cleaner into the storage room) The next time, I shall be going to your dorm instead. (‘he pursed his lips, as he walked towards Jonghun) I haven’t been there for a long long time as well! When are you inviting us over? (‘he frowned a bit, as he takes the packet of chips laying on the table, and passed it to him) Of course I went all-out for this. How long have I been wishing for someone to game with me! It’s usually only me and myself gaming you see. Yonghwa goes golfing with Daepyo-nim, Jungshin.. I don’t know, cleaning maybe. Minhyuk probably does the nagging and cleaning for the mess Yong and I make. (‘he stifled a laughter at his comment) Well, do take anything you’d like! Prawn crackers, stuffed biscuits, pepperos, I probably bought one everything there is in the mart! (‘he flashed a victory grin) Let’s start our game now, shall we? (‘he cocked his head to the side, picking up a packet of prawn crackers as he walked to the desktop beside the television)

Stay overnight? Hmm, that can be arranged. How else are we going to get a weekend full of gaming, hmm? {` with a chuckle, he nods along while the other speaks, finally turning his gaze that way to look over at him with a smile} I'm definitely still comfortable here, no worries. And you're welcome to come visit whenever you'd like, but it's not the five of us in a dorm anymore, Hongki and I have our own apartment. If you don't know our new address yet, I can definitely give it to you though. We'll have our next gaming weekend there. Hongki can join us, or we can kick him out for a bit. {` chuckling at the thought of the vocalist's reaction to being forced out of his own home, he shakes his head, accepting the bag of chips handed to him and looking it over before pulling it open and taking a few crisps out. munching on them happily, he skims the rest of the snack selection and grabs a box of pepero, before he turns and pads his way toward the desktop to follow his friend and fellow guitarist} I'm excited, I haven't been gaming much lately. Haven't really found the time, you know? It's good to have a day where I don't have to do anything and I can just kick back with one of my friends and play some games together. Especially one I have yet to play myself yet! What's it like? {` giving the boy a curious smile, he places another chip in his mouth before beginning to fumble with the pepero box, opening the packet inside and taking out a biscuit stick}

And I think that was shortly after Hongki-oppa started recovering, right? {’ tilts her head to the side as she tries to remember the timeline of events } Yeah. I wanted to do something nice. {’ smiles } A french snack—? Macarons? {’ laughs } They’ll probably be stale when you get back. Ah, but honestly, anything is nice, oppa! So sweet of you, still. {` chuckling lightly, he pauses for a moment to think back around the time she had been on her trip, before nodding in confirmation} Yes, that was right after Hongki got out of the hospital and was in recovery. Receiving an unexpected treat made him feel a lot better, I think. You know how he is about gifts. {` with a blink, he ponders over her request, whether she meant it seriously or not} Macarons? If I get them the day I leave, on the way to the airport maybe, I don't think they'd be stale by the time they got to you. I'll see what I can do! And I'll definitely get you a surprise as well, because who doesn't love surprises? {` he nods his head happily, perking up a bit} Yes, the MT! I hope we can find a time in our schedules where we're all available to do that, it would be a lot of fun! For now, though, hurry on that vacation and enjoy yourself!

Alright! I’m sure that she can’t be picky when it comes to whatever we decide to get. { `chuckles quietly to himself, even as the puppy starts trying to move faster in their current direction; probably since she can already smell food from where she is because of her powerful nose. the vocalist stumbles a bit, being a bit in shock at how much strength she actually has. } She’s definitely going to tire herself out if she keeps on wanting to run towards the vendors like this. { `his chuckling soon turns into complete laughter as he’s continuously tugged forward, his arm that’s latched onto his fiance being the only thing that is giving him a bit of balance to stay up. } Aah, yeah… I’m sure she won’t mind that! She’s probably the type to hog the entire bed so we might end up sleeping on the floor. { `shakes his head a bit, snickering softly. } But then we can be sure to get her things tomorrow so she can feel more comfortable.

We just have to make sure it's something she can eat that won't upset her stomach, like nothing spicy, which makes up most street food-- maybe some odeng... {` his attention returns to the vocalist, who is struggling to keep the puppy in check when she begins to race toward the vendors, biting back laughter and using their linked arms to keep his fiance anchored so he isn't pulled over by the overzealous puppy who has clearly caught the scent of food and gotten far too excited about it} I can't believe she's still hungry, she ate so much before we left... I really wonder when the last time she ate before then was... {` he frowns slightly, worried about just how long the poor thing had been on the streets, though once they come to a stop in front of one of the vendors he reaches for his wallet and peers at the food being sold on the cart} What do you want? I think I'll have some tteokbokki... and they have odeng, if you think Marble would eat it... {` tapping his chin, he tilts his head, browsing the selection}

Then let’s take a walk! { `he smiles brightly before a sudden burst of laughter comes from him as he watches as his fiance messes around with the puppy, nudging her with his foot and making her turn around and look at him. his eyes move back up to focus on the guitarist as he speaks again, the smile on his face still very much apparent on his features before a shy chuckle escapes him at the other’s words. } Of course. I don’t care what we do or where we go as long as I’m with you, either. { `he chuckles again upon noticing the cheesy smile, always finding his fiance’s smiles something that manages to make him feel warm inside. immediately, the vocalist latches his arm around the guitarist’s, linking them together. } Aah, that’s a good idea! We could actually go get ice cream! { `grins widely, tugging his fiance and giving the leash a gentle tug in the direction of his choice which he knew that would have a lot of places to choose from aside from one exact location. } Or even something else other than ice cream. There’s a lot of small shops this way so we can figure something out. { `nods a few times, continuing to grin. }

{` once their arms are linked, he can't help but grin at the contact, aware it seems more silly and playful to onlookers and therefore an easy way to achieve skinship in public. keeping their limbs connected, he starts to walk as he's pulled in a random direction, his gaze immediately dropping down to the puppy as she seems more than happy to walk ahead of them as if she's leading their little group} Whatever we find, we can get. There are some street vendors this way too. We'll find something good. And the more we walk, the more tired out Marble will be so she'll probably be ready to sleep once we get home. {` thinking about the fact that each of their dogs has its own enclosed area, a small kennel with a dog bed, and they don't have extras to spare, he tilts his head} She'll have to sleep in bed with us tonight until we can get her a few things. She's so little, that won't be a problem, and she'd probably prefer it the first night with us anyway. Feel safer or whatever... {` it surprises him a little, the fact he's worrying for the puppy as if she's a baby, but he finds it hard to help himself; he's, admittedly, already grown attached, in spite of his vain attempts not to}

I was just kidding! { `he quickly mimics the other’s pout playfully, but it finally lets up as soon as he hears the guitarist start chuckling; causing him to join in. he moves out of the room with the puppy, still holding her almost as if he stopped that she would run away from him but he knew that she wouldn’t since she’s already moderately attached to the two of them; but still, she’s small enough to hold so he might as well. the vocalist moves up to the counter alongside his fiance, still receiving many more kisses from Marble while he waits for them to be completely done with their visit. he smiles at the other male as he starts speaking, nodding his head a few times. } I’m glad. She’ll be well taken care of with us. { `his smile only widens as he finally decides to set her down, letting her walk on her own and moving toward the door, opening it for the two of them and then holding it open for the leader to step outside. once outside, he grins widely at the other, nudging his arm a few times. } Are you in any hurry to go home right now? I was thinking we could go on a walk. { `his eyes move their focus down to the puppy, watching as she starts sniffing at everything; still as curious as she was coming to the vet. }

{` stepping out as the door is held for him, he makes his way forward and comes to a stop on the sidewalk where he turns his head to glance in either direction. then, his gaze turns back to focus on his fiance as he's nudged, a curious smile on his face as he's asked about going home, his head shaking a bit in reply} I'm not in any rush. I'd like a walk. {` looking down at the puppy as she sniffs around, he chuckles lightly and reaches one leg out to give her a gentle nudge with his foot, his chuckling turning into loud laughter when she jumps slightly and immediately looks up at him; aware he's been caught, he shakes his head and turns his attention back to the vocalist} Any particular direction you'd like to walk in, then? We can go wherever you'd like. You know me, I don't care what we do or where we go as long as I'm with you. {` lifting an arm, he makes a sweeping gesture around them and flashes a cheesy smile toward the other before offering the opposite arm to him. expression gradually turning amused at his own gesture, he gives in and starts to chuckle once more, before adding} We can get a snack for us and Marble while we're out if you'd like. If she's even still hungry, she ate two big bowls of food before we left...

I know. It’s some kind of miracle that this dog actually is attached to you! { `laughs loudly as he jokes around, knowing that the other isn’t exactly a dog whisperer like the vocalist. it takes animals a while to get used to the guitarist, but they just automatically click with him. so having this puppy be close with his fiance is definitely some kind of fate. he stares at the vet and the leader as they talk back and forth, listening to their conversation about if it’s alright to keep the puppy with them just for her to be safe and not thrown into a shelter since they already have the necessary things to provide care to her while she stays. once they get the confirmation that they, in fact, can shelter her until she’s found, the vocalist’s face lights up with a huge smile spreading across his face; though he’s not sure if it’s out of excitement for the puppy or for how happy the guitarist sounds receiving the news or both. never would he imagine hearing the other male so chipper about this arrangment since in the beginning, he was leaning more to not keeping the dog. he quickly moves out of the chair to his feet to move over to the metal table, picking up the puppy and bouncing slightly with her as he once again receives more puppy kisses from her. } Don’t worry, Marble~ We’ll take good care of you for now~ { `he coos to her, giving her ear a nudge with his nose before another round of kisses. }

Heyyy! A miracle? Don't you think that's a bit much? I'm not that bad with dogs... {` he trails off with an over exaggerated pout, though his offended act doesn't last long and he's soon chuckling once again; he's well aware he's not the greatest with dogs. in fact, dogs and cats often scare him, and he struggles to bond with them. he's not sure why, he's just never had much of an attachment to fuzzy house pets, and the feeling has always been mutual. he's warmed up to them more since living with the vocalist, however, as the little zoo of dogs as well as their two cats has made being around animals unavoidable, and he of course loves them all dearly, but to instantly connect on an affectionate level with this particular animal is unusual and significant. stepping back a bit as the vocalist approaches to take the puppy into his arms, he watches in amusement when she immediately begins to shower his fiance in kisses, turning towards the vet and taking that opportunity to thank him for taking his time to look over their puppy and offer help. once instructed to return to the front desk to check out and pay, he nods, gesturing for the boy to follow with the puppy as he follows the vet out of the room and back toward the front of the building, already reaching for his wallet as he does so to take out money, though he seems uncertain about how much a check-up will cost. once informed of the price, he realizes he'd actually taken out to much, stuffing a few bank notes back into his wallet before handing over the rest. once everything is processed and they're free to go, he turns to the vocalist and reaches out, petting Marble} I guess she's ours now, until we find her owners.

('He places his phone onto the living room table and goes to the kitchen in search of all the snacks that he had bought earlier; Potato Chips, Pretzels, Sushi, Cake and Korean sweets; he grinned at the thought of the 48 hour gaming he would be having with jong) Hm.. it seems kind of messy in here. I'll clean it up a bit before Minhyuk nags at me again. ('He purses his lips, swiftly cleaning up the table in the living room and vacuuming the floor a little, and by the time when he's almost finished, a few knocks were heard at the door) He's here. ('He grins, placing the vacuum cleaner against the wall, then speeds to the door and opens it up) Jong!

{` as the door opens and he's greeted by the other, a smile appears on his face and he abruptly stops bouncing in place} Hello! {` he chuckles, holding up the packages of ramyun and jars of kimchi for the boy to see} Look what I brought! As promised. {` taking a step inside, he makes sure to remove his shoes, easily working them off his feet and delicately kicking them aside so they aren't cluttering the doorway before he glances around the room the further he pads his way in} I feel like I haven't visited here in forever, but I'm sure it hasn't really been that long. {` pursing his lips as if trying to recall, he shakes his head, deciding to make himself at home and walk right to the kitchen to set down the food items he brought with him. once in there, he's surprised to notice all the different snacks that are set out for their gaming adventure, though a grin spreads across his face} You really went all-out ,didn't you? Ah, this is going to be a lot of fun!

I know it’s metal. { `briefly sticks his tongue out before moving over to sit down in one of the chairs provided, crossing one leg over the other and stuffing his hands into his pockets as he stares up at the guitarist and the puppy. he shrugs his shoulders slightly with a small frown. } I really don’t know anymore… I thought she would have an owner because she doesn’t even seem like a stray. { `his frown only grows as he continues to look at the puppy. } I’m sure she does but they didn’t bother to get her chipped yet because she’s still young and they are probably calling places all over right now… She’s too precious. { `chewing on his lip, he glances back up at his fiance before cracking a smile as she licks him. } I think she likes you a lot, Jonghunnie. { `snorts quietly, shaking his head. a knock at the door interrupts him from saying more, waiting for the vet to walk in and shut the door; watching as he approaches the puppy and begin a basic check-up. the vet doesn’t say much as he glances her over, only humming to himself as he checks her teeth over for any damage and then moving to her eyes and ears, making sure that they are sound as well. the vocalist purses his lips as he watches him, a bit impatient as it goes by so slowly yet nothing seems to be alarming yet that would make the vet speak. once he gets the basics done, he simply shrugs and smiles, confirming that the puppy is in good shape. }

{` the sight of the other sticking his tongue out brings a chuckle from the guitarist as he focuses his attention back on the puppy when she continues to lick him, quietly cooing wordless noises to her before the remark about her seeming to like him brings a wider smile onto his face} She's a good girl. Dogs don't normally attach themselves to me right away... {` he trails off with this statement, knowing that while he does like dogs and other fluffy animals, he doesn't often have a magic touch with them like his fiance does; rather, he tends to prefer reptiles and the like. though, those types of pets aren't always the most affectionate, and he'd be lying if it wasn't nice to have a cuddly puppy so warmed up to him. he's still petting her as the vet enters the room, though finally he steps back once the man approaches to look her over, keeping a small distance and watching with almost protective concern as she's given a thorough examination, his brows furrowed. after the silence is broken with confirmation that she's in decent shape, however, he lets out a breath and nods, again returning to the table and petting the puppy} Is it alright if we keep her while we put up flyers for her owners? Or are we required to take her to a shelter? {` again, relief shows in his expression when he's informed they're allowed to foster a lost dog as long as they give their information to a shelter, thanking the vet for his help and turning his head to look toward the vocalist} Did you hear that? We don't have to give her to the shelter!
