so I got into grad school today with my shitty 2.8 gpa and the moral of the story is reblog those good luck posts for the love of god
okay so i just got my dream job??? a week after applying to it?? and now i’m thinking….maybe this is the good luck post
…..not even six hours later i got an offer of a well paying full time long-term job with free room and board in queens in nyc, allowing me independence and a way to escape an abusive situation and an unhealthy environment
likes charge reblogs cast, folks, this is the good luck post
i need all the help i can get for finals
Hey so
the last time I reblogged this post right before I got a great job, in a permanent work-from-home position, with benefits, retirement, and a salary literally 3x what I was making before, doing something I really like.
So you know.
This might be the real one, y’all.
I could use some luck

The caption reads Exciting news! 🎉 We're thrilled to announce that tapir Yuna gave birth to a rare and endangered Malayan calf Sunday night! The newborn, covered in distinctive white spots and stripes that resemble a tiny, walking fuzzy watermelon, is only the second ever born at the Zoo in our 120-year history. Mom and baby are both doing well and bonding behind the scenes. 🍉

AMAZING Tiny Desk concert of a guy from Japan named Fujii Kaze. He's got an incredible, soulful voice that is as smooth as silk and warm as a hug. Absolute joy to listen to. This made my morning and I have to make sure as many people hear it as possible
i love veggies sm and hate the fact that they're usually associated w diet culture talk. everyone should eat more veggies simply because they're yummy
Jinmenju/Ninmenju
Right now I'm reading a book on yokai and I learned about this really funny/cute yokai that I now love and have to share it with y'all.
so get this (im sorry I couldn't help myself), the Ninmenju is a tree that has little human heads instead of normal flowers/fruit. and like they aren't evil, they can't hurt you. the only thing they do is laugh and if they laugh too hard they fall off the tree!! LIKE HOW CUTE IS THAT THEY ARE JUST SO CUTE but also a little creepy BUT MAINLY CUTE
they are so funny

Sacred Beast
Kirin was introduced to Japan via China where it was known as qilin. In Japanese mythology kirin is often depicted as a chimeric beast, a deer covered in sacred flames and dragon scales, and having the tail of an ox and flowing mane. Kirin is one of the rarest and most sacred creatures and it is the symbol of goodness, justice and wisdom.
My piece for Pelätyt & Palvotut artist collective's Yokai themed exhibition! I chose kirin because I had been wanting to draw one for ages and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. The piece was done traditionally in watercolours and this was the first time I used gold leaf in my art! I will definitely keep experimenting with it.
