Former VEGA member Kang Seyoon has reportedly signed under Home of Many Entertainment. Kang Seyoon, who is better known by the stage name Yoon, is reported to have signed a contract under the label on October 7th of 2018. Yoon was previously signed under J-Sun Entertainment and was part of the then six member boy group VEGA, which debuted in 2013 and has reached high popularity in both South Korea as well as globally. He left the company and group in February of 2017 following a short hiatus due to health reasons. It was stated at the time by his former company that he was leaving J-Sun Entertainment in order to focus on his health and well-being.

It was reported that following his departure from J-Sun Entertainment, Yoon sought out work at ‘Vanille & Chocolate’s Library Cafe’ in Myeongdong, owned by Sulli of SM Entertainment, and former f(x) member. The two were well known same age friends since Yoon’s 2013 debut. Later, Yoon reportedly began working at the ‘Two Unnies Guesthouse’ in the same area of Seoul. The guesthouse, which was bought and re-opened in 2017, is supposedly owned by the wife and sister-in-law of Yoon’s older brother. Following his departure from J-Sun Entertainment, it appears Yoon has not sought out any work that would bring him publicity until now.

Yoon notably garnered attention back in January of 2018 with a dating scandal alongside former J-Sun label-mate, Ahn Hyunjin. The soloist and former idol were spotted on what appeared to be a date at Seokchon lake, though J-Sun Entertainment formerly issued a statement soon after denying the dating rumors and stating that the two were just friends.

J-Sun Entertainment:

“...Seyoon and Hyunjin both trained with the company for many years and have known each other since they were very young. They always maintained a strong junior-senior relationship after Hyunjin’s debut in 2010 and Seyoon’s in 2013. Though Seyoon already parted ways with the company, the two naturally wanted to keep in touch because of their strong bond. We ask that you please understand the rumors about Hyunjin and Seyoon dating are not true.”

Fans of VEGA and Hyunjin were shocked to see the two former label-mates together. After officially leaving the company, Yoon had not been spotted with any other J-Sun artists until photos of the rumored date began surfacing. He has not been spotted with any other J-Sun artists since then. Many Lyras (the name of VEGA’s fanclub) were upset at the news of the dating rumor considering the dates of the scandal coincided with VEGA’s debut anniversary. Following his departure from J-Sun, some netizens looked to Yoon as a traitor for leaving his group and members behind. It is not known whether Yoon has any contact with his former group members.

At this time, neither Yoon nor his new label, Home of Many Entertainment, have issued any information about his future endeavors.

Many fans have started to gather at the cafe that Seyoon works at. ㅠㅠ I went by to try to leave some supportive messages for him and Hyunjin. If you want to leave kind messages to Seyoon, then you can go to the cafe with sticky notes. Other fans have started to post them by his photo and the staff assured us that he would see them. They are collecting everything that the fans have brought for him, but I don’t know when he will receive them. He wasn’t there and I can’t imagine he would be for at least a couple of days. Even though it’s his fans there, I think he wants some privacy, so we should respect that. A fan on Twitter also posted pictures of Jinri at the cafe. By the time I arrived, she was already gone, but apparently Jinri collected some fan letters and was planning on giving them to Seyoon personally too, so I hope he reads them all and finds strength from them... 

A lot of people hate him right now. He is such a sweet and sensitive soul so he really doesn’t deserve the hate, which makes me sad. With J.Sun’s statement finally out, I hope that everyone will believe the company’s word that he and Hyunjin are not dating. If you can’t go by the cafe but still want to show him support, let’s get positive articles about Seyoon trending. Even though they aren’t dating, people will judge them both and say bad things since they kissed. I don’t know what happened that night, if it’s true that he went to her apartment, but since nobody knows, let’s not judge either of them for it. It’s not our business but theirs. We can show Hyunjn support too by trending positive articles about her, leaving her kind messages on her social media, and keeping up with the hashtag #I_Trust_Only_You (which if you don’t know, is a song title from her previous album). 

Also, I’ve heard that some people have been spreading Seyoon’s phone number around? I’m not sure if that rumor is true, but if you see someone posting his personal information, please make sure to report them!! 😠😠😠 This makes me so mad!!! This is the last thing he needs right now, even if people want to send him kind messages. Please don’t message his phone or call him! Instead, leave him messages at the cafe or on social media. Since he doesn’t have a public Instagram account anymore, we can still use the hashtags for him. And please don’t spam the other Vega members with stuff about Seyoon either... I have seen some messages on their accounts about Seyoon, so please have some decency and don’t mention it to them. They’re not involved at all.

[BREAKING] Ahn Hyunjin’s company, J-Sun Entertainment, has issued an official statement regarding the circulating rumors of her dating former VEGA member, Kang Seyoon.

On January 9th, J-Sun Entertainment issued an official statement regarding the circulating rumors of solo artist Ahn Hyunjin, who was spotted on a date at Seokchon Lake with former label-mate and VEGA member, Kang Seyoon. The company has confirmed with Hyunjin privately and states that the two are not involved in a romantic relationship. The company’s statement is as follows.

“On January 7th, Ahn Hyunjin was seen spending time with a former label-mate at Seokchon Lake. Hyunjin has assured us that she and Seyoon are not involved with each other in any way and that the supposed date was just a misunderstanding. Seyoon and Hyunjin both trained with the company for many years and have known each other since they were very young. They always maintained a strong junior-senior relationship after Hyunjin’s debut in 2010 and Seyoon’s in 2013. Though Seyoon already parted ways with the company, the two naturally wanted to keep in touch because of their strong bond. We ask that you please understand the rumors about Hyunjin and Seyoon dating are not true.”

The two were photographed chatting together and kissing on a bench viewing the lake Sunday night before returning to Hyunjin’s place of residence. Kang Seyoon has not made a statement regarding the claims against him.

TBH i have always shipped them together since they're both cute together and since seyoon has named her as his ideal type so many times... most people like to ship him with jinri but i just can't see why since they obviously never liked each other that way and they said so multiple times.. personally, if they are confirmed to be dating then i will be really happy :)

Me too personally, I never liked Yoonri as a ship but I get it... As long as they’re both happy now though, that’s what matters. Either way, I’m going to stand by Yoon and support him..

I’m just thinking about all the hate they’re getting and hoping they’re okay... people can be so mean and judgmental about things even without the full facts. Guys, if you see any mean comments about Seyoon or Hyunjin, please don’t make it worse by starting arguments. Let’s just wait for a confirmation first and be hoping that they’re both being supported right now... I’m so sad thinking about how they must feel. Opinions? I personally think that it's possible they're dating... I mean, what do we really know about his life? For all we know, they could even be in love and getting married.. So I think it's possible they're dating. They're both consenting adults, they can do what they want. But what do you think about it?

To be honest, I don’t know if I would dare to think about such things... You’re right to say we don’t really know about his life. For all we know, they could really be dating and in love. But I wouldn’t want to spread such ideas until they admit it themselves. I guess we’ll only find out when they release a statement confirming it. Until then, we just have to wait and show them both support. So far I have seen a lot of ugly comments about them... it makes me sad ㅠㅠ I hope he and Hyunjin are both okay..
