1. Damon met Bonnie first. He even saved her, did her homework, kissed her, and took her home all in the first meeting. 

2. Bonnie referred to him as her “born-nestmate”. 

3. He died for her rather than living a life with Elena. 

4. She had a secret stash of photos on her computer of him.

5. Caroline told Stefan, “Everyone knows where Bonnie’s heart is”, referring to the photos. 

6. When Elena and Meredith were yelling at him to slap her to get her out of her trance, he tried twice but couldn’t make himself do it, and kissed her instead.

Do you think Bamon will be the ones married in the next book?

I would love for it to be but I’m gonna say probably not. But LJ did say that both Bonnie and Elena would be with Damon at some point.

This is my favorite Stefan/Bonnie moment in the books.

“And we have to work on presents,” Bonnie insisted. “You know, the joke kind. Like giving Stefan some garlic.” 

“Like giving you a trigonometry book,” Stefan shot back and Bonnie fell in a fit of giggles from which she couldn‟t revive. The only words the rest could make out were “Like giving a jock—a jock

I love that in Evensong, Damon finally got a chance to be with Elena after all this time, and still kissed Bonnie twice.

My favorite difference between book bamon and delena is that Elena has to tell Damon when he’s wrong but Damon just looks at Bonnie and knows he’s wrong.

To give her some incentive, he took her hands away from her face and kissed her. It was a soft, chaste kiss, but it wasn't short and it wasn't botherly.

Just as he would always wonder what exactly had been in his subconscious when he had chosen to trade his life for Bonnie's while Elena look on. Damon didn't spend a second wondering why he had dropped everything and come winging to the hospital when he heard Bonnie's eldritch scream. He knew exactly why he had done that and he knew that she knew. But it wasn't a thing to be spoken of. It came from a time when he had been dead.
