Deutschland wird Weltmeister!!!🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🎉
Gooooooooooo Germany! Game happening now.
Das Fischbrötchen is a sandwich made with fish and raw onions, sometimes also with remoulade (an herbed mayonnaise-like spread) and pickles. It’s most common in Northern Germany, due to its proximity to the coast. The most common version is made with Bismarck herring or soused herring. Other varieties use Brathering, Rollmops, European sprat, salmon, smoked Atlantic mackerel, and other varieties. Prawns are sometimes used. Fischbrötchen are typical German “fast food” and are commonly served at simple fast food stands or take-out restaurants. NORDSEE is one of them - a nationwide chain with branches in other European countries and beyond (currently also in Austria, Czech Rep, Romania, Slovakia, Switzerland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Turkey, Russia, Cyprus, the United Arab Emirates, and Egypt). Try them. :)

My dad sent me a picture of the (more or less famous) Schillergarten in Dresden Blasewitz being threatened by the Elbe flood. It also shows how helpful everyone is and how once again everyone works together to protect the historical buildings along the river.
Crazy!
Elbehochwasser 04.06.2013

Keep safe, everyone.
Wait you did an exchange year in Germany? That's so cool where do you come from? :)
Hi, Anon! I was in Germany from 2009-10, but I (usually) live in America, more specifically Ohio.
Auerbachs Keller in Leipzig: A real restaurant, which has a scene in Goethe's Faust, and is located in the basement of a very modern shopping alley.
Bonus: Mephisto Bar is right next-door. Germanistik students, it's your dream come true. Also, the devils on the ceiling roar and blow out steam once an hour.
Everyone started following me, and I haven't posted anything in months....
So, if by some miracle y’all aren’t spambots, rest assured I’ll post some deutsch shit pretty soon!
I’m in Japan right now, so my focus has kind of been other places.

Hey, Fasching!! Prost.
