𓂃˖ ࣪⊹ Character Info (Backstory)

7MK0 is from an alternate universe. Said alternate universe has a lot of technological themes to it. he grew up in Blackrock. Just like Medkit, 7MK0 used to work as a scientist and Subspace was one of his coworkers. However his ideas didn't just not align with Subspace's, but they also didn't align with a lot of the other scientists. This obviously caused a lot of tension between him and his coworkers. The other scientist's ideas often involved violence, while his revolved around healing and wanting to help people. And this is what causes the whole issue with Subspace in this au. Except he doesn't lose his eye (yet). He does however get permanent injuries from acid burns. Subspace is still injured in the fight too,obviously.

7MK0 fled Blackrock. He is deemed as a traitor to the faction and becomes extremely wanted. He remained neutral and never joined another faction. However he still wanted to be able to help people. He became a sort of doctor/rescue vigilante due to how frequent violent incidents were. One of the people he met was Sword. He had rescued Sword when he himself was defending an inphernal that was in danger, but Sword wasn't doing well in the phight he was in. Sword quickly tried to become friends with 7MK0 after and it didn't take a lot to do so. Sword himself was a sort of vigilante as well and convinced 7MK0 to work with him and another person, Rocket! The 3 become a little trio. Sword was the one who gave 7MK0 his current name. He was the one who suggested that he changed his current name, since Medkit was on almost every single wanted poster related to him.

One of the most frequent encounters 7MK0 would have on missions would be with Subspace. Who would often cause harm to people for his own sadistic desires. Obviously the two were enemies and would often fight. One night during one of their fights, Subspace injects a very dangerous and harmful type of chemical into 7MK0's body. By injecting a syringe into his leg.

With this unknown substance in his body, a slow and excruciating chemical reaction would begin to effect his entire body. After a week of the injection, a burning crystal like material would suddenly erupt from several parts of his body. It burst from his eysocket his horns, and his back (this is where the eye thing and wings come from). He also now suffers from severe chronic pain and it would take him almost to months to fully get used to being in pain all time.

One of the things that Sword, 7MK0, and Rocket used in their missions were tools of teleportation. They were made for means of escaping dangerous situations or if one of them needed assistance. However, in the fight with Subspace, 7MK0's teleportation device was damaged. Sword and Rocket tried to fix it to the best of their ability, but the damage was irreparable for the most part. Its "repaired" state was only able to be used once, and the teleportation would take him to a completely random place. It was sort of a one use missile for emergencies. He didn't know where the device could take him now if he were to use it, so he never did. One day however, during a mission with Sword, the two got into a situation where both their lives were at stake. Sword didn't want anything to happen to 7MK0, and putting 7MK0's safety before his own, he urged him to use the device. 7MK0 refused, afraid to be separated from Sword and leave him to fend for himself. Sword however, eventually got ahold of 7MK0's device and pressed the button. Neither of them knew what would happen to the other. But the last thing 7MK0 saw after Sword pressed the button was him being impaled. 7MK0 knew it would take him to an unknown location. But he never expected it would take him to a whole different universe.

𓂃˖ ࣪⊹ Character Info (Extra)

- He has orange cracks all over his body.

-He is constantly emitting an orange glow.

-He is extremely conscious of how he looks. After the incident, he views himself as a hideous monstrosity. He hates looking at his reflection in the mirror. He tries to maintain the little remaining amount of control he has over his appearance. He's very picky with the way he dresses, the way his hair looks, etc. He gets extremely upset if something doesn't look the way he wants it to.

-His condition gets more painful every passing year.

-He can't get water on his eye or wings. It will cause a burning/scalding sensation.

-His pain is the worst in his head (specifically his eyesocket), his upper back, and the leg in which the needle was injected. He uses a cane to help with walking. (It was given to him by Sword and Rocket.)

-He gets frequent migraines and is very sensitive to bright lights because of it. This is what he wears his glasses for.

-He has an abnormally high body temperature.

- He will sometimes get pain flare ups where his pain becomes a lot worse than it is on a normal day. The pain can be so bad to the point where it leaves him immobilized.

[ Crossroads was bustling. Of course it was, there was never a dull moment in such a large, crowded city like this. Now, one would reasonably think that this chaos would be caused by the amount of Inphernals who called this place home, and less because of one individual. ]

[ I wholeheartedly believe that one individual contributes a massive amount to the mess. ]

[ T. Vee stood, leaning against the glass display of some store, paying no mind to whatever it is on the other side of the barrier. No, his attention was stuck on the narrow street in front of them. They seemed to be waiting for something... likely someone to 'surprise interview.' ]

7MK0 had finally decided to go out in public after several days of hiding. It was no use wallowing in his emotions like he had been. He had to do something. He had to look around. He needed to get used to this place. It was no different than from how he left Blackrock, right? It was practically the same! A fresh new start. He just had to leave behind everything he ever knew! His world, his home...his friends.

There was no time to think about that! He had to move forward. Despite how much he didn't want to. Despite how much he wanted to just rot away in the back of an alleyway. He stepped out in the street and began walking. He was supposed to be looking around, but it was almost instinctual for him to stare at the ground as he walked. It was better than having to see possible expressions of fear and disgust amongst other inphernals. He'd start looking around once he got to a less busy part of the city.

Everything was going to be fine.

It was getting late. The sun was beginning to set and the city lights of Crossroads pollute the night sky sooner or later. Although Crossroads always remained loud and busy even at night, there were still some parts of the city that were often more secluded and quiet. The alleyways.

In one of them, there was a very odd looking inphernal standing all by themself. The orange light from their body illuminated the dark, empty alleyway. Although they seemed very shaky, they didn't move from where they were. They looked pale, as if they has seen a ghost, and it seemed as if they had been standing there for hours.

[ Things she didn't want to talk about, let alone think about. Allowing these things to fester in her mind wasn't helping her at all, as much as the tiny voice in the back of her head screamed that she had to face it all soon— to process it. ]

[ That was easier to ignore than it was to follow through with such a thing. Ignoring everything was far easier than fully realizing what she had seen with her own eyes, and she did so through distractions. Gardening, trying to clean the apartment, even seeing how she could help other strangers— ]

[ So, here she was... awkwardly staring at the figure emitting that soft light, internally debating whether or not this should be her next... 'distraction.' Of course, she soon made her decision. ]

"...Are you okay, there?"

"You look like you've seen a ghost..."

The inphernal seemed unresponsive until she actually spoke to him. Her voice was enough to make him snap out of whatever trance he was in. He jumped a little bit, startled at the sudden unfamiliar face. He cautiously took a step back.

"Who are you..!?"

His voice, although soft, had an obviously fearful tone to it. His free hand moved a little bit, itching to grab the revolver he had been carrying with him. But he didn't do anything just yet. For now, he just stood there, waiting for an answer to his question.

[ She didn't miss the movement of his hand— of course she didn't. No Inphernal would, not if they lived as difficult a life as everyone else. Vinestaff of all people knew better than to just let someone draw their weapon... ]

[ Her Gear was summoned with a bright flash of light, yet she remained in a defensive stance. She kept a hand raised placatingly, her Gear held at her side rather than pointed directly at him. ]

"Woah, woah—! Let's calm down, yeah...?"

[ Vinestaff stated, clearly trying to coax him from... whatever was going on with him. What caused this panicked state, she had no idea. Not when all she had seen was him staring awkwardly into the dark and damp corners of an alleyway, looking rather odd compared to your average Inphernal. Not that she had room to talk... ]

"My name is Vinestaff, uhm..."

"I'm not here to cause problems!"

The inphernal stepped back again, startled by the summoning of her gear, but it seemed like she was being genuine with her words. She didn't want to cause any trouble. He still seemed very skittish, but he eventually let his hand fall to his side.

He stood there for a moment, staring at her. His expression softened a little bit as he spoke again.

"Can you tell me where I am."

He didn't seem aware of how odd the question was. To any inphernal the answer was so obvious.

shuriken  slipped  off  the  power  line,  the  sudden  gust  of  wind  catching  him  completely  off  guard.

luckily,  he  fell  into  a  messy  pile  of  trash,  which  broke  his  fall  and  saved  him  from  a  serious  injury.

he  crawled  out  of  the  heap,  shaking  off  the  scraps  of  paper  and  plastic  that  clung  stubbornly  to  his  arms.

shuriken  muttered,  feeling  a  sharp  twinge  in  his  right  knee.

it  felt  twisted,  a  painful  reminder  of  his  clumsy  landing.  a  scowl  creased  his  forehead  as  frustration  bubbled  up  inside  him.

“  damn  it.  i'm  losing  my  edge  …  ”

shuriken  grumbled,  taking  a  moment  to  glance  around  and  steady  himself.

he  quickly  checked  his  pouch,  his  heart  pounding  a  little  faster  until  he  saw  that  everything  was  still  intact.

his  mask,  though,  was  unscathed—at  least  that  was  one  small  victory  amid  his  chaotic  mishap.

At the sound of the loud thud behind them, the inphernal finally snapped out of whatever trance they were in. They were completely alert now, and they looked terrified after the sudden noise.

They whirled around almost instantly, facing the pile of trash behind them. At the sight of the strange person, they pulled out a revolver with their free hand and pointed it at the other.

Despite this, they didn't seem to have any real intention of shooting. Their hands were shaking too much to even shoot a precise shot. They just stood their, frozen. Like a deer in headlights.
