As we've been pointing out: After January 14th (in exactly one week!), Microsoft will no longer support Windows 7. This means that users will no longer receive updates and security patches, making its use potentially unsafe and not recommended.

Microsoft itself strongly advises all users to upgrade to Windows 10 as soon as possible. So, whether for you or someone you know, we'd like to share a few tips that might help the process.

One of the most common and simple ways to install Windows 10 is through a USB flash drive. You can use the Media Creation Tool from Microsoft to download the installation files and create a bootable USB with UEFI support.

Get ready, Chrome fans: The new Microsoft Edge Browser is finally coming!

Microsoft announced the new Chromium-based Edge browser will reach Windows 10 on January 15, being downloaded in the background and delivered automatically via Windows Update.

The new Edge will be available for all PCs already running on the Windows 10 1709 update or newer, along with a Blocker Toolkit for companies that want to block its automatic distribution, in order to avoid potential compatibility issues.
