Finished Supernatural Opening, the cuts are pretty rough due to the lack of time filming (it all had to be done in an afternoon) it was made for college. It was essentially the idea for an opening of a “Supernatural Video Game” if there ever was such a thing.

I think the thing that bothers me the most about kilt-jokes are 99% of them are just different variations of calling them skirts…which, in reality,  really isn’t that funny.

We don’t make fun of women for wearing pants, and when we realize that once (and still in some cultures) it’s considered “wrong”…don’t we laugh at those people and how stupidly sexist they are?

And yet in every single kid’s cartoon that happens to feature a Scottish man, at SOME POINT, they will be in a kilt and at SOME POINT they’ll be made fun of for “wearing a skirt”.

Because…ya’know….men doing ANYTHING that goes against the gender-laws-of-bullshit are AUTOMATICALLY a joke.

CLOTHES ARE PIECES OF FABRIC WE PUT ON OUR BODIES, WHAT SIGNIFICANCE DO THEY HAVE ON OUR GENDER IDENTITIES/SEXUALITIES???? WHO DECIDED THIS??????

I'm Scottish and it doesn't piss me off when people refer to a kilt as a skirt, it's a piece of clothing regardless of which gender wears them and it doesn't degrade or insult me in anyway. It just shows that the jokes themselves are a complete representation of the arse that says them, ignorant.
