Echoes of Wisdom art challenge

I was inspired by @rebornofstars' Sepfember to do my own little challenge for myself! Something that would be easy for my little dopamine seeking brain to focus on and hopefully complete!

So I decided for each day up until the release date of Echoes of Wisdom, (the 26th,) I would draw a different iteration of Zelda! (well, and some different outfits of hers because there are simply not that many Zeldas.) with prompts I thought suited the Zelda/I wanted to do. Because what better way to celebrate Zelda getting to be the protagonist of her own game (finally!) than drawing every version of her?

So, here's my list and the prompts under the cut :]

Realistically my adhd brain isn't gonna want to hyperfocus on that many characters #Zelda is my favorite character from the series and I loovee her designs so!! I think I'll have loads of fun with this!#maybe I'll even complete it too!#I know we're already so close to the release date its really silly to start this this late #Buuuttt I'm doing it anyway!! Here's hoping my hyperfocus powers will help me draw all these Zeldas......

Ohhh my gosh, echoes of wisdom is SO GOOD. Loovvedd this scene so much, I had to do a little drawing--and then the shading happened and. Yeh. More rambles in the tags!!

So, while I never finished this (I started in the middle of the month sooo) I think I may continue to chip at it over time bc I still really like the prompts and ofc I love the chance to draw Zelda!! So yeah. In between playing Echoes of Wisdom, of course!

Just started Echoes of Wisdom yesterday and WOW, I love it so much so far!! Here's my spin on EoW Zelda! (very self indulgent bahaha)

I know you probably have seen this before, but here it is again. I love that this includes males bodies as well, and is a great reference for anyone wanting to design a various cast of characters. The mere size difference between some neighbours on some photos should give you artists great pointers on how to portray height variation in a believable way to your viewers!

(Also that way I have it in a place I'l remember and will be able to get it whenever I need it so there.)

I wanted to draw Marth in some fancy clothes, so here he is, probably dressed for an Altean festival!!

#marth #fe marth #i really like this one;;;#so here hes wearing some really fancy altean clothes!!#i have so many hc about altea gjdkskgkf #i wanted it to still be a tunic like he wears usually but less convenient for battle. its just fancy-wear!#i had it so Altean fancy-wear has these big sleeves and the one strip of fabric connecting to a ring!#for the scarf thing i really wanted to base altean clothing off of ancient greek clothing??#seeing as that was the vibe they were going with in the first version of the game anywho gjdjfk #so the scarf is wrapped around in the same way a toga or himation would be;;#its purely decorative of course. just the tunic woukd be covering enough #the alteans like their long tunics #and also scarves and capes.#pattern-wise i mostly went with scales. bc they see naga as a goddess so.. dragon scale motif!!#and as i mentioned the tassle things are based after the divine dragon design!#as for the sea foam? altea is an island! im sure theyd use wave and sea-foam motifs as well!
