Levi rolled his eyes, evidently the conversation was making both their headaches worse. “I know how you feel.” Levi’s headache was more than likely brought on by stress more than the fact that he was hungover, and worsening because Gabe was acting clueless. “I’m not talking about the makeup.” Levi wore it everyday too, after all. Most often to hide old scars, but for blemishes too if they were ever an issue. “Is forgetting everything normal for you when you drink, or did you really just drink that much?”

Levi’s aparent attitude was getting on Gabe’s nerves but his head was pounding too much for him to do anything other than nod in agreement “Then what are you- wait what? Did something happen last night?” His eyebrows knit in confusion as he glanced at the other man again still not recognizing him.

His discouraged reaction brought out a crack of a grin from the young woman. “Probably the most memorable.”, she chuckled. Having such familiarity with someone you were once so close to was a tricky thing mixed with an assorted collection of emotions. It made a transition from discomfort to teasing banter feel natural in the most unnatural way. “Okay, that’s not fair! You told me I could hold on as hard as I needed to!” Perhaps it was the location and nostalgia that made it so. It was hard to move past the emotional limbo stage of recovery when everyone here was stuck in the infamous Disney Bubble all the time. “Gosh I really wish I didn’t. You thought it’d be romantic to kiss the last time for the picture and when we dropped our heads collided so hard I thought you’d knocked my teeth out.” Her laughter naturally harmonized with the excited yelps of the riders as the backwards descend paralleled her thinking back on better times with the other. The train stopped to watch the shadow of the yeti ripping at the tracks. “Quick, What do we do for this picture?”

He made a face as her response and stuck his tongue out not unlike a three-year old child. Gabe laughed as she tried to defend herself “I didn’t realize you had a death grip!” He shook his head and glanced over at her smiling as their banter continued. He hadn’t realize how much he had missed her; most girls were in and out of his life quickly but it was a bit harder when he had to work and live by them constantly. Tending to avoid them except for a few like Sonia he didn’t usually become friends with any of them. He burst out laughing despite the wind rushing in their faces from the fall “I still have the bruise I think!” He pretended to thoughtfully think for a minute “We could do the classic sleeping pose?” He folded his hands and lay his head on it shutting his eyes and trying his hardest to stop smiling.

“Your up and your down”. She said yelling at the top of her lungs it was just like old times and she enjoyed that even though she missed them together it was really their friendship that she missed when he kept singing she couldn’t help but smile at him because he was so dorky.

“You’re wrong and it’s right!” He matched her volume still dancing along he glanced over at her again grinning as she sang along with him “it’s black and it’s white... we fight we break up, we kiss, we make up...” He smile grew as he did his best Katy Perry diva impression as he sang the chorus getting all serious to attempt to match the singer’s high tone “You don’t really want to stay no” He waggled his finger in Sonias face “You don’t really want to go-”

He gave her a side eye behind his sunglasses but finally gave into temptation and turned up the volume and sang along “And you over think, Always speak, cryptically, I should know. That you’re no good for meeeeee…” he grinned at her before dancing as much as he could while still paying attention to the road “‘Cause you’re hot then you’re cold, You’re yes then you’re no, You’re in then you’re out…”

“Wouldn’t want to get too excited prematurely.”, it was both about the ride while being a dig to the man’s overly sexual ways. The ride rounded the corner, taking small drops as it approached one of the most exciting park of the ride, the huge ascend up the mountain. Liza relaxed into the situation, reminding herself that two were supposed to be friends and that this was one of her favorite attractions. “Remember the first time we rode this? I was pretty sure I was going to faint in this part.” She still had to grab her seat restraint out of habit. She noticed she was doing it now and released her hold.

He scoffed completely getting the underlying meaning but still put his hands back on the safety bar as he scowled “...that was one time out of a hundred.” He relaxed slightly as the adrenaline started pumping through him as they creeped up and he looked over the side to the beautiful city below them. He laughed as he looked over at her reaching towards the seat restraints “You were so scared you squeezed my hand so tightly I thought it was going to fall off... at least now you’re used to it. Remember when we rode tower of terror five times in a row on our anniversary?” He looked over at her to give her a genuine grin reminiscing about their past relationship as they reached the top of the hill were the tracks just stopped and they started zooming backwards into the blackness of the dark “mountain”

“Pft, baby you already look at the sexiest one of all” He put his sunglasses on to match her and pulled out of the parking lot starting their road trip to the beach “Okay you’re passenger seat that makes you get to be DJ master over there but don’t put on all that crap only you like, play something good...” he passed her the aux cord

Gabe was the last person Levi had expected to see when he walked into the room. What were the odds that he and the stranger he’d met at the bar worked together? Slim, but apparently enough to be true. He was wearing sunglasses, a telltale sign that he was feeling almost as rough after last night as Levi was. Evidently, having drank as much as he had, he also didn’t remember anything about what happened. “You’re fucking kidding, right?”

Gabe raised an eyebrow at the other man’s harsh words “Hey can you tone down the volume bud? I have a raging headache...” He looked over at Levi through his sunglasses still not taking them off even though he was indoors, they were helping sightly “and what’s wrong with using stage makeup? The casting supervisor says we have to wear it whenever we go out”

Liza made her best effort not to roll her eyes, though her strain tightened the features of her face up to a loose screwed expression. She knew better to thank the man for his external compliments. They were given frequently and earned easily for any pretty girl with a pulse. “I’ve been pretty well today, thank you.” Up until this particular part was implied as the girl forced her gaze forward to the track ahead of them. Their train being green lit to take off.

Gabe smirked as he saw the sour expression on her face from trying reign in her disgust, he got that a lot having a tendency to make girls angry specifically ex-girlfriends it was just something he had gotten used to and now found amusing “Mmm, i’m sure you are...” his reply sounding lewd as usual. He grinned as he noticed they were about to take off “Still do arms up on the coasters?” He lifted his above his head just adding to the thrill of the ride

Riding single rider for Expedition Everest was a super way to beat the crowds on a busy midday for Animal Kingdom. The only downside was that you always ended up with a stranger and some could be a lot stranger than others. Single Rider, Lane 1, the attractions cast member said as he pointed her forward. She nodded, thanking him quickly as she swiftly moved forward to join the person. She usually at least introduced herself before getting on the ride to reduce the awkward tension. “Hi, I’m Liza … Oh.” Of course this would happen to her. “Hello Gabriel.”

Gabe had decided to spend his day off at Animal Kingdom since it housed some of his favorite ride Kali River Rapids and Expedition Everest, always being a bit of a thrill seeker he had been alternating between the two all day only taking breaks for cotton candy from the snack carts. He had just gotten back in the single rider line for everest when he saw who he was partnered up with in his cart “Liz... wow....” He dropped his eyes down her body even though they were seated “Well you look a beautiful as ever, how are you doing?”

Sporting a pretty intense black eye, Levi walked into the room where he’d soon be changing into his costume and covering his eye with whatever amount of makeup it would take to hide it. A slow sigh fell from his lips as he sat down in front of the mirrors. “It’s going to be a long fucking day.” He had a headache, but he wasn’t sure if it was a result of the fight from the night before, or if he was just hungover. Either way, he was already out of patience for the day. He had even been smoking, which was something he only did while stressed. “Got any advice on how to cover up a bruise? I really don’t feel like getting fired for something so stupid.”

After spending the entirety of the last night getting wasted at the bar Gabe had woken up with a pounding headache and no memory of that last 12 hours. With sunglasses on and his token hangover smoothie in hand he had gotten to work early and was just playing on his phone when the other man walked in. He looked up when Levi talked and raised his eyebrows at the dark purple black eye “Whoa, dude what happened? Yeah want to borrow some of my stage makeup?”
