if I had a nickel for every time a show depicted a hot af morally complex character on a big downward spiral that attempts sexual assault and then half the audience says it's character assassination even though it's in line with the absolute crashout they've been going through and actually only adds to their character,

I'd have two nickels. which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

Ares never thought he’d love anyone, especially mortal as before he met Alyson he was very antisocial with the mortals only bothering with them when Hercules needed his help. But Alyson showed that even a man like him could earn love. 

“Well Cleo is with that boyfriend of hers, school is out now, so that just leaves the two of us, so what do you want to do, anything, and we can”
