Bad D&D Character Idea

I'm an actor, right? So oftentimes, I'll try to connect to a role through immersing myself in the character (Not like the Joker, I swear).

Now, normally, in d&d, I play rangers or druids. HOWEVER, irl, I'm a bard with meh charisma. I'd like to take my method acting skills from real life and translate them into a campaign.

"But how?" You might ask.

It's simple, you see. Just a little bit of charisma here, a little bit of trickery there... and the character is a bard that accidentally got swept up into a campaign while method acting as a knight or wizard for an upcoming festival.

The absolute tomfoolery, the absolute chaos that one could cause by doing this is beautiful.

Imagine the team wanting you to cast fireball at someone... you've got the staff, you've got the robes, but you don't have the magic. BUT-- you also have a flask of hard liquor in your pocket and a pack of matches! You'll be "casting fireball" in no time! Oh my god while typing that I realized it could also work for a "dragonborn."

I want to confuse the party and cause problems. Someone get me a DM and 3 friends.

Matcha Madness, Matcha Sadness

Hi,

I recently went across the country to visit family. In total, I was gone for 12 days.

In that 12 days... my favourite matcha shop closed down. It was the best in the city! Tsujiri was my favourite place to go after classes and study while drinking something warm. And in the summertime, they had the most refreshing ice cream treats.

I went there so often... the owners knew my name. And I had decided to pay them a visit after returning home. This is what I saw when walking up to their door :(

This was my favourite place to go, it was more comforting than a library, and both Karen and Ken were extraordinarily kind to everyone they served. I'll definitely miss this place. But more than that, I wonder what they'll do now? They worked at this place 6 days a week for years! I just hope they find something stable, something that gives them fulfillment.
