“ — So….you’re telling me what exactly? You’re too busy to come have drinks and party for a while? I’ll make it worth your while, promise.”
“Am I ever too busy for a good time?” She asked with a smirk. “Try and keep up.”

“ — So….you’re telling me what exactly? You’re too busy to come have drinks and party for a while? I’ll make it worth your while, promise.”
“Am I ever too busy for a good time?” She asked with a smirk. “Try and keep up.”
“Oh shit. Are you alright?”
“Yeah I’m fine, just an overly clumsy person falling her way into her day.” She said with a small laugh as she pushed herself up.
“I’ve been working nonstop on this case I’m pretty sure this whole week not only have I been out of town but I’ve only gotten four hours of sleep in three days.”
“Are you going to turn into someone from the walking dead? Because those things creep me out.” Gabriella said with a teasing smile.

Bonnie: shit sorry
Bonnie: can i crash at yours tonight?
Bonnie: got no roof for the night pls
Gabriella: I don't have another bed but you're welcome to sleep on the couch
Gabriella: why are you homeless?
“Aw come on – I know I’ve got an least five more minutes?”
“Come on, you gotta get up sometime.” She said pushing him playfully.
Send 3 names and I’ll tell you who my muse would fuck, marry, or kill.
“Been there, done that. It only hurts for a bit then you get over it. Trust me.”
“And you know this how?” She asked raising her eyebrow.
“It’s not?” He looked over at her, a look of surprise and amusement filling his eyes. “Yeah, it was a lot of fun, I have a lot of memories here.” They walked to the stairs up to where the loft was.
Gabriella hadn’t meant to say it but it came out without saying. Now she had to explain. “There’s a lot you don’t know about me.” She told him plainly. “I wasn’t the best teenager...” She told him nervously. “Seems very different than where I grew up.”
“I think so, it’s not like those chicken arms of yours could do any real damage,” he said in a joking tone as he continued driving down the highway.
Gabriella scoffed and tilted her head pretending she was offended. “Excuse me, I think you are underestimating me because of my size.” Gabriella said, being only 5 feet tall.
Nathan was typically in a better mood when he took Adrien to the park. It was a more relaxed setting, and he could sit back on a bench and keep a lazy eye on his son to make sure he didn’t do anything too stupid. Sure enough, the blonde boy went on the merry-go-round a few minutes too long, then stumbled off of it and immediately fell over. “Walk it off!” Nathan yelled, as Adrien struggled dizzily to his feet. “Kid can’t hold his liquor, am I right?” Nathan asked, when he noticed someone standing nearby.
Gabriella had taken a walk through the park to clear her head. She had just finished her shift at the tattoo parlor and as she was walking she saw a small boy fall down and then someone calling out to him. She was behind the man and came up behind him to his side. “I really hope that’s your kid or that is wrong on so many levels.”
“Yeah, I didn’t stop because I had the fucking right of way,” Carter shrugged. “Jesus fucking christ they shouldn’t let people like you behind the wheel.”
“Are you kidding?” Gabriella asked getting more angry. “There’s your fucking stop sign right there.” She pointed at it. “You didn’t have the right away.”
Patrick nodded in place of a smile. His hand found the back of his neck, a bit of a habit when he was in these moods, something like a nervous habit, but more uncomfortable in his own skin than nervous. “Little bit. You?”
Gabriella watched him and then almost scoffed when he asked if she had a rough day. “Considering I’m alone at a liquor store and didn’t even notice running into someone, I have to go with yes.” She told him and paused. “Do you want to be alone?” She asked.
“I can take you. But you have to commit to at least three hours.”
Gabriella paused. “Why would you want to take me fishing? You don’t even know me.” She asked curiously.
“You draw?” he repeated her answer as if it was news to him, offering a big smile in the meantime. “What do you draw exactly?” There was a second that he considered checking his phone, but opted out and instead nodded to her words, and plopped himself down on the ground to better balance himself while he looked up. “What do you draw?”
Gabriella shrugged when he asked what she drew. “Anything.” She told him looking up at the stars. “Everything.” She continued. “It’s one of those things that calms me.” She glanced over to him. “What about you? Any middle of the night secrets?”
Patrick’s fingers traced over the words punched into the black band on his wrist, his thoughts off in a time and place far away. He stood in the back aisle of the liquor store, frozen for a little too long, his eyes forward, but not focused on any of the bottle of whiskey in front of him. “Shit, I’m sorry,” he nearly jumped when the body made his way up to him, quickly shuffling out of the way so they could get by. “In a world of my own,” he tried to force a friendly smile, but he couldn’t quite muster it.
Gabriella had been walking through the liquor store wondering what she should get. She wasn't going out but her nerves and her anxiety was at an all time high after her doctor called, so she wanted something to take the edge off. She had been moving through had barely noticed a man she squeezed past before spoke. “You and me both.” She told him with a glance, noticing the look on his face. “Rough day?”
“Fucking hell, would you watch out? I don’t need a fucking scratch on this thing.”
“Are you serious?” Gabriella asked angrily as she got out of her car. “You’re the one who didn’t stop.” She exclaimed.
“No. It’s not mine. It’s my grandparents though, so don’t worry. We’re not trespassing,” he smiled at her as he began to walk in the barn. “I spent a lot of time here though growing up. I always loved it here.”
Gabriella laughed softly. “Wouldn’t be the first time.” She said shaking her head. Gabriella had done a lot in her past, some even worst than trespassing. “That’s awesome.” She told him.
