Alfonso occupied the empty bench that sat before the grand piano. His capable fingers tickled the ivories, evoking the tune of Frédéric Chopin’s Grand Valse Brillante. The classical piece didn’t last long though, as he cut it short and transitioned into playing Daft Punk’s Get Lucky.

Gabrielle wandered around the mansion, trying to entertain herself as most of people she knew seemed to be gone. She was passing one of the rooms when she heard the sound of piano. Not being able to resist, she entered, wanting to see who was playing. “That’s nice.” she smiled, “Can you play more than just that?”

Words seemed odd, probably because he was annoyed, but then again, the tone reminded her of the way Adele talked to her during their fight. It made her feel bad she came to see him in the first place as it was some peaceful company she was seeking. “You haven’t.” she repeated briefly. “I’d like to go down to the bar.”

He felt a warmth fill him at the smile on her face, wondering if she felt the same when she was with him. He followed her down the hallway, rubbing her hand in his and looking down at her hand intertwined in his. “That sounds good. Nice comfortable, lazy day,” he smiled at her, happy that she just wanted to spend time with him doing nothing. It was nice and there was something comfortable with her that he liked a lot. “Spending the night with you? I couldn’t think of doing anything better than that.”

She grew more relaxed as he rubbed her hand, leaning closer against him before tilting her head up to smile at him. “Yeah, I thought we could both use one.” It’s been a while since they done something together and a lazy day for just the two of them sounded perfect. She leaned in to peck his cheek at his last words before resting her head against his shoulder as they walked. “Any movie you’d like to see?” she asked him as they reached the door to her suite before unlocking them and letting them both inside. “We can watch anything really. Also, what would you like to eat?” Gabrielle had to remind herself to let him answer the questions, but she wanted him to know that he could still tell her anything and be free with her.

A joke… Well, she didn’t seem to be the kind of girl that had second intentions anyway, but that didn’t mean that he could tell her things anyway, so he chose to lie to her “I wouldn’t know how to do it anyway.” he chuckled, crossing his arms over his chest as she thought of something “That I can teach you.” Emmet nodded for her to follow him, walking to the door “C’mon, Gabrielle, we have to go to the beach for me to teach you that.”

“Alright.” Gabrielle nodded before turning around and following Emmet outside. The weather was nice and sunny, a little bit too warm but she didn’t think that would make a problem while he taught her how to surf. “We’re practicing on the dry first, right?” she asked him, finally catching up and walking alongside.
