A long, long day takes its toll on everyone's emotions. Even Soyona cracks early on--and warns Brooklynn not to do the same. Brooklynn takes her words to heart and pushes down any joy at the sight of her friends, confirming Sammy's worst fears. Nonna's own worst fears are confirmed when she finds her guests have brought a dinosaur into the house, but Kenji wins her over...only to find himself panicking as Smoothie escapes and wanders into town. The Nublar Five find him as their emotions fray further, and as a fray begins between multiple raptors. Meanwhile, Brooklynn threatens an innocent fan in Malta, while her family falls apart over deciding what their next move will be. Nor are they the only family to fall apart, as Soyona seeks vengeance for the Handler and Dodgons's duplicity by separating the raptors from their caretaker...and gets a call confirming readiness to separate another child from hers.
