"I’m hiking. I like it out here." Malia answered. It wasn’t a total lie, after all. She did have to hike a bit through the trails to get to the place she had dubbed her shifter’s spot. It was secluded and surrounded by many rocks, hills and trees — a perfect spot if she managed to change into her coyote form… which seemed to be the direction where they were both headed.
"Me too," he replied, looking around at the woods. "It's more peaceful than the usual trails. More runners over there." He glanced back at the girl, a little put-off by her short replies. She didn't seem to want to talk to him but he wasn't sure what he'd done wrong. "I'm sorry, I'm bothering you, aren't I?"
