I FINALLY finished! What I imagined happened after the screen went black at the end of CQL.

I had this idea right after I saw the original CQL ending, in 2019. I started doing sketches in early 2020. I would always put it to the side and when I would go back to it, enough time had passed so that my art improved and I would redraw it. This is my 4th time redrawing! Would have been 3 if my hard drive didn’t go kaput on me in the middle of the 3rd time.  I’ve been working on this version for like 2 months now.  

I also couldn’t figure out the song I wanted to use, I originally had “Peace” from ATLA in mind, but I didn’t want to straight up use it. I also almost used “wuji,” but I really liked the feeling “wangxian” from the audio drama gave. Also, I haven’t looked at a music sheet in 11 years  and this was easier to arrange and give that crescendo I wanted.
