Wounded

After her first dragon hunt, the Inquisitor returns in Skyhold, but not everybody is ready to celebrate.

PART I/II

Demetra Trevelyan, Cullen Rutherford, Josephine Montyliet, Leliana, Dorian

Pre relationship

“Commander ?” Leliana’s scout seemed sincerly worried “Ser? Are you alright?”

“Yes. You can go.” Cullen growled, the sound deep in his throat “I’ll contact the Spymaster when… when I’ll finish here, thanks.”. The scout nodded, leaving his office as fast as he could. Cullen let himself falling in his chair, breathing heavily. His hands were shaking horribly and the words written on the report danced before his eyes “High Dragon… Inquisitor… wounded, but alive… victory…”

The Inquisitor had fought against a fucking dragon, he roared in his mind, crampling the paper in his hand. He forced himself to read again everything, admitting at least with himself that he was searching for more informations about the Inquisitor - her - health. “Alive” was good, but not good enough, Maker! Dorian was there, but did they have proper healers too? How badly was she hurt?

The Commander started to walk back and forth, he couldn’t stay sat, thinking that Demetra had put her life in danger. More than usual. They had talked about the possibility to fight against a dragon, during a meeting in the War Room, and she had promised to be cautious. And she had repeated her promises during one of their chess match, laughing gently that he was worrying too much. She had promised. And she had broken that promise.

And now she was wounded.

When Demetra arrived in Skyhold, there was a quite a crowd to cheer at her. Common people, some Templars, a lot of nobles and also a couple of Mages. Everyone seemed eager to congratulate with her, speak with her, shake her hand. When Josephine finally reached the Inquisitor in the middle of that turmoil, Demetra was quite relieved to be dragged away, leaving the glory to Bull, Dorian and Sera.

“Inquisitor, it’s good to see you here again and… in one piece.” Josephine smiled “We received news you were wounded.”. Demetra sighed, walking slowly near her friend. In one piece, yes, but not completely healed, she admitted with herself “We were all wounded, frankly. But it wasn’t so bad, after all. Dorian did a great job and Bull put us in one piece again, when the magic couldn’t work fast enough,”.

For a moment, while they were entering in the Main Hall, the Ambassador seemed hesitant “Ah, well, here the… here we were all worried, my lady.”

“I’m alright, Josephine, as you can see. There’s no need to worry. By the way… where is the Commander? I expected to find him in the courtyard. And Leliana too.” she added quickly. The Ambassador face didn’t change from her usual serene expression “Commander Cullen and Leliana had some matters to discuss. They’re waiting for us in the War Room.”.

Demetra walked a little faster, despite her body reminded her that it would have been necessary more time to recover fully.

“Ah, Inquisitor,” Leliana bowed slightly, when the two woman entered in the giant room “forgive us for not being with the others to greet you, at your arrival. We had… some matters to discuss.” she added, glancing at Cullen.

كيف ستكون حياتي في وطن آخر؟ فكري في ذلك؟ روتينيه صحيح؟ تعايشين ماتكرر على محيطك؟ لكن هنا في السعوديه خروج عن الوضع الطبيعي ورفضك لهذا الاستعباد بروز عن الحالات المتوافره هنا حسنًا الوضع أو المعيشه هنا غير اعتياديه، انتِ هنا في مغامره، عليك التفكير بهذا الشكل !! نعم، ولهذا يجب ان تعدي نفسك لمراحل عديده، من رفض، اقصاء تام، سواءً من أسرتك او مجتمعك لاتذهبي فورًا للختام، الانتحار مثلا . الانتحار فكره مريحه، لكنها وسيله للفرار من اللعبه، اختاري المواجهه، اما انتِ او العدو . هكذا وجب علي تمديد الحياه، بالنسبه لي فأنا اعدّ نفسي في لعبه، ومن المخزي انهاءها فورًا، سوف أتمرغ بالخسائر والاحباطات لآخر لحظه، فأما انا أو هم، ويكفيني من هذا كله شرف المحاوله .

Finding your True Passion in Life

1. What puts a smile on your face? Is there a particular event, a particular topic that makes your whole face just lighten up? Whatever it is that makes you smile, and makes you happy whenever you encounter it, this is a sign of something you are passionate about.

2. What do you find easy? Usually, what we find easy for us to do, will be related to what we are passionate about. It’s very hard to hate something that is very easy for us!

. What sparks your creativity? Think about something in your life where you seem to always expand its horizon, always coming up with new, fun, and exciting ideas relating to that subject. Whatever makes you creative is probably something that you are very passionate about.

4. What would you do for free?. Doing what you have a passion for brings out your best, and this leads to greatness. Greatness breezes to success. So think about something that you would just love to do, even if you were not getting paid. Think about something that you look forward to doing, something that you wish you could do all the time.

5. What do you like to talk about? The topics of conversation we have can definitely tell what we are interested in, and this is a good way to find out what we really enjoy in life.

6. What makes you unafraid of failure? When we do what we are passionate about, we have total confidence in our abilities. This makes us not worry about failing, because in our mind, how can we fail when we do what we love?

7. What would you regret not having tried? If you were at the end of your life, what would you regret not having pursued? What would you have liked to do, that you didn’t get a chance to? Think about what that might be. Whatever it is that you may experience regret now or later on for not having tried, this is a good chance to be your true passion.

Opening December 4th of the Mod Christmas Calendar.

On the 4th day of Christmas, my true friend gave to me …. Qunari single braid! It was supposed to look like a french braid, but i haven’t had time to play with the scalp texture. If any of you texture modders feels like creating a scalp texture to make it look like a french braid, you are welcome to do so! If not, i will try when the Mod Christmas Calendar is finished. :)

Notes: - Requires Ultra Mesh Settings - Replaces the braids with horns.

The sign on the office door at eTree, an online advertising agency, says “Girls Only.” The company founder, Esra Assery admits that it’s a little sexist and we both laugh at the joke in male-dominated Saudi Arabia.

Assery recruits only women because she says they are more motivated to work than Saudi men. Her company is a striking example of the push to get Saudi women in the workplace.

Women are not allowed to drive in Saudi Arabia. It’s the only place in the world where tradition and conservative interpretations of religion keep the ban firmly in place. So, you can imagine that getting into the work force isn’t easy either. But in this trip to the Kingdom, I met women who are breaking the employment barriers with government support.

Many Saudi women say they want to drive. As it turns out, even more say they want a job.

Thirty-year-old Assery built her business based on an understanding of social media, which is huge in the Kingdom. There are eight million Facebook users, and three million on Twitter, with estimates of 70 million tweets per month! Twitter has become the platform for an unofficial national dialogue. You can chart the trends in the Kingdom as well as the debates.

Assery turned this into a business. She represents companies that want to build their brand online. She also built a company to employ women.

“It’s 100 percent Saudi, 100 percent run by Saudi females. So, it’s a commitment to create jobs for Saudi females,” she says.

Assery has more than 30 women on her staff. She’s expanding soon to a bigger office and she will hire even more.
