the game was good for me only when i found mothman eggs and tried to figure out if i could hatch a little army of mothmen
god you are so fucking valid
ok, initial thoughts on fallout 76 under the cut.
i’ll admit, the customisation leaves a lot to be desired. todd howard, you’re really giving us the same hairstyles from fucking fallout 3 in the year of our lord 2018? mod makers working for free from their home pcs can make mods with literal dozens of new hairstyles but your well-paid team can’t update the same styles you’ve had since 2008? come on. come the fuck on.
that said, i am enjoying the game. i was apprehensive at first about a multiplayer game, since i don’t tend to like mmorpgs, but it... actually does let you do your own thing more than i expected. yes, there are other players in the world, but you don’t have to interact w them.
and i do love the fact that it’s set much closer to the bombs than the other games. i love seeing what’s different in the world 25 years after vs 200 years after. that’s really cool. i’m digging it.
overall, i like it more than i thought i would. the customisation is absolute shit, but the game itself is decent. i’m enjoying it.
reblog this if ur a lesbian mun of a lesbian character ✌️ i need more Gals in my Pal

“head’s up, there’s some brotherhood soldiers half a mile south of here, give or take.” she generally tries to keep to herself as much as possible on the road, but nick’s damnable goodness seems to continually infect her and she ends up speaking where silence would suit just as well with strangers. “they’re, uh, not really friendly in general, but you might wanna’ give them some extra space.”
they both know exactly what she means and mina wonders if she should have come right out and said ‘they’ll give you shit because you’re a ghoul’; would that have been too blunt? she shifts her weight, tilts her chain down the cracked road. “down by the red rocket, in case you’re heading that way.”
hazel wasn’t exactly used to people talking to her on the road, much less offering helpful advice. generally, in the best cases, they went out of their ways to avoid her; in the worst cases, they just pulled their guns out and started shooting. no one struck up casual conversation with a ghoul on the side of the road.
but hey, no sense in looking a gift horse in the mouth. if this woman wanted to play nice, hazel wasn’t gonna be the one to make things go south. pursing her lips, she nodded. “ thanks for the heads up. ain’t headin’ that way now, but i’ll keep it in mind next time i do. ”
worldwell replied to your post: yeah, seriously, though — as a lesbian, i’m...
every time we complain it’s always turned into smth else too or we’re accused of being Gross ourselves like i’m sooooo fuckin tired of everyone hating lesbians and refusing us our stories!!!!! and our anger!!!!!!!
yeah lmao a lesbian is like ‘hey can lesbian charas exist’ and the whole rpc is like ‘hmm...... sounds like you hate bisexual people.............’ like linda can we just exist and have rep without being accused of being awful people
yeah, seriously, though — as a lesbian, i’m fucking angry. i don’t know anything about riverd*le, but i do know that what’s happening there is a trend, and it’s a trend i’m fucking sick of. so many times, characters are announced as lesbian, and yous just decide that’s not valid and insist on writing them as non-lesbian. like, we get it, you don’t think we should exist, just come out and say it lmao. i’m sick of never seeing lesbian charas in the rpc, and if there are any, they’re only ever written by lesbians, because we’re desperate for representation. i’m sick of people claiming to support wlw and then only ever gushing about m/f and m/m pairings while f/f is either ignored or only tacked on as an afterthought.
acknowledge that lesbians exist and deserve representation. acknowledge that comphet exists and that a woman dating / having sex with a man in the past does not mean she can’t come to realise she is a lesbian. stop erasing lesbians. stop acting like we’re an afterthought. stop acting like we’re lesser.
tracybcnd:
i don’t think anyone in the tumblr roleplay community understands how isolating it is to be a lesbian in the rpc. i don’t, because i’m not one, but i listen to what lesbian roleplayers are saying and it bothers me that it seems like no one else is caring to listen.
last evening, we learned that cheryl blossom on riverdale is a lesbian who has been struggling with comp het. today, the rpc has decided to loudly support the continued portrayal of cheryl as a non-lesbian despite lesbian roleplayers, many of whom are part of the riverdale rpc themselves, expressing how this feels like a slap in the face. lesbians were already dissatisfied with their level of acceptance within the rpc (doubly so if the muse they play is a lesbian as well) and this refusal to accept canon when it means celebrating a lesbian character has caused a lot of pain as yet another example of how unimportant they are. as a bisexual woman, i can understand a moment of hesitation when it comes to changing your muse’s sexuality from bisexual to lesbian if you are bisexual yourself. however, what matters is the choice you make on how to continue. if you come back from reflecting on this update to canon to make excuses for yourself, you have turned your back on the lesbian community and told them that they are not important. cheryl’s story specifically relates to experiencing comp het and for roleplayers to refuse to allow her to be her truest self reflects the refusal of society and individuals to allow lesbians to be their true selves. that is why this hurts, and why so many lesbians in the rpc are taking this seriously.
but this issue is not isolated to riverdale. lesbian roleplayers are confronted with rules/guidelines pages that specify the mun’s dislike of f/f relationships every day. if f/f relationships are allowed, they are subject to specific rules and hurdles that must be jumped over. why do we exclude lesbians, both muns and muses, at every step of the way? why do we feel the need to qualify them as the other?
bisexual muns and those portraying bisexual muses must be better. if your muse is a bisexual woman, but you will not roleplay f/f then change your muse’s sexuality or do not roleplay as them. stop giving lesbians in the rpc false hope that you will interact only for you to characterize them as “ship wh*res” or force-shipping. this is unacceptable.
lesbophobic statements like the below should never be included in your rules/guidelines pages and you should unfollow people who do this.
i really do not care if you think this is dramatic or unfair. people i care about are hurting because of you. lesbians deserve to come to the rpc and have fun. they should not be confronted with lesbophobic rhetoric supported by others in the lgbt community. i’m done.

// Also this might seem random but shoutout to disabled muses. Shoutout to muses who are disfigured or have a physical disability. Shoutout to muses who struggle with mental or emotional disorders. Shoutout to muses who require outside resources, whether that be an object or another person, to make it through the day. Shoutout to muses who need help. Shoutout to muses who, for whatever reason, function differently than the ‘average’ individual.
These muses are still beautiful, these muses are still capable, these muses are still intelligent, wise, and functional. These muses still have depth and engaging stories. There is nothing wrong with these muses. They are amazing, and they deserve respect and recognition as characters.
Shoutout to these muses. Keep on being awesome.

pre-war cigarettes–a much more precious currency to kimmie feng than bottlecaps or old nuka cola merchandise ( although she could appreciate the refreshment of a quantum now and then ). she could give two shits about the brotherhood and their fancy armor–seemed they were more of a good ol’ boys club anyhow–but cigarettes, now that was a vice that did not get reproduced so easily. as if hand rolled tobacco were comparable to the taste of a grey tortoise filtered cigarette.
a box of borax soap in hand, bar barely opened, kim curses under her breath as she flicks a match across the worn, wooden bar counter top. “fuckin’ ants. every goddamn winter.” as the weather cooled, they seemed to come in every crack to search for any trace of a meal. the paper around the cigarette hissed as it caught flame and she let out a slow exhale as she poured a hefty serving of the toxic soap into a small cup of sugar, mixing it well enough through to blend the two together in hopes of baiting the ants.
the din of the bell that hung above the reinforced door broke her concentration and, for a moment, she almost called out ‘we’re closed’ before remembering that time had passed without her keeping much note of it; she was open for business whether she liked it or not. taking a long drag from the cigarette, she turned and slammed the borax box onto the counter with a toothy smirk, flicking the ash of her cigarette into an ashtray she’d fashioned out of a broken doll’s head. “i’d say pick your poison, but since my runner got shot we really only have the one.”
these days, hazel wasn’t very picky about where she went for a drink and a place to sit down. it was rare that she found a settlement that didn’t shoot ghouls on sight; when she was lucky enough to come across one, she didn’t tend to turn up her nose at whatever half-collapsed dive the place had to offer as a bar. beggars, after all, couldn’t be choosers.
the bar she’d ended up in tonight could hardly pass for decent, let alone preferable, but as long as it had a roof and a few full bottles, hazel wasn’t about to complain. shrugging her bag off her shoulder and letting it thud onto the ground, the ghoul hoisted herself up onto one of the empty stools. the bartender, judging by her greeting, wasn’t exactly friendly, but at least she was easy on the eyes.
“ hey, if it does the trick, it does the trick. ” hazel reached down, shoved a hand into her pocket, and withdrew a handful of caps, which she slapped down onto the counter. “ i’ll take a glass of whatever you got. ”

❝You ever went to Nuka World, back in the day?❞
Her hands are trembling so hard, it takes three tries to poke the cigarette between her lips. Fuck Houdini. Harper is an expert illusionist. Handcuffs, upside-down, underwater–that’s peanuts. She can unlock any door. She can disappear before your very eyes. She can pretend her hands aren’t shaking. She can pretend she feels fine.
❝Not me. I hate theme parks. God, I bet that place is fucking bedlam now. I mean, it was back then, too. So maybe it’s the same, just with–with more guns. I mean, only a few more.❞ She laughs nervously to herself.
hazel’s eyesight might not precisely be the best, but she wasn’t blind. anyone with half-functioning eyes couldn’t fail to miss the trembling in harper’s hands. for now, however, she said nothing; she knew harper well enough to know that pointing out something like that would only get the woman to clam up, and right now, that was the last thing either of them needed.
so, if a feint at casual conversation was what harper wanted, hazel would play along. settling her elbow on the edge of the table, she propped her chin on her hand, grunted in thought, and replied, “ yeah, i hated that place. my brother dragged me along once — his girlfriend was nuts about theme parks, and he said it’d be fun. it wasn’t. nothin’ worse than crowds of cranky kids and their entitled moms. ”

@gahoual» shippy call.
‘ Well, I do hope this isn’t you getting coy. ’ She’s leaning against some old, half-ruined wall, hands pushed into her pockets, the look on her face almost teasing. ‘ I was just beginning to think we were getting somewhere. ’
“ baby, coy is the last thing i am. ” in all honesty, hazel wasn’t used to women flirting back, and although she was certainly thrilled by it, she’d been a little thrown off by the response. “ but what’s a gal like you doing chattin’ up a ghoul like me, huh? i didn't peg you for the type. ”
