my brother shin was alive and root didnt exist

danzo wasnt a terrible person

i dont think he even existed

but we were adopted by a nice couple instead of being part of root i suppose ? and my talents were praised

and i was really happy …

genuinely happy, i could laugh without wondering if i was faking it because in there, there was no root

thus there was no need to shut off my emotions

and no need to wonder if im doing things right socially because i had practice

i had friends

not that i dont have friends now, but they came easier …

i didnt have to try so hard and i didnt feel as melancholy as i do mostly
