Leonardo's portraits are looking great so far. Maybe that's why every lady sim in town is constantly asking him out.

paper boy somehow keeps putting the newspapers on the roof of the garden shed
Alice and Marina's son August is getting ready for his first day of school. He's a Loner, but he also has a Good Sense of Humor. I think his favorite TV show is probably Frasier.
Celeste is Alice's Daughter and Marina's stepdaughter. She's a junior in high school, her favorite color is pink, and her goal in life is to become a goth scientist.
this has got to be the cutest sims wedding I've ever organized... everyone say congratulations Alice and Marina
starting a new legacy save!, with some modifications:
after you live in a single town for like six generations, it starts to feel a little empty. It gets to a point where only the vampire sims are left from the original town. like Salem's Lot. So I'm moving to a new town every generation. Hopefully this will help with the loading issues I've been having, too.
it stresses me out trying to get everything done in a limited time with automatic aging on. I'm going to start each generation at young adult and age them up to adult when they have kids. After the parents complete their lifetime goals, I move the family to a new town, age the kids up to YA, and age the parents up to elder and move them into their own little house for retirement.
I liked having portraits of everyone, but leveling up a painter every generation gets to be repetitive. This is where Leonardo comes in - his extended simbot lifespan will allow him to paint portraits of everyone.
My founder, Marina Vega, was originally a neighbor character I made for one of my first games; now it's her turn in the spotlight. She found the dog, Viola, in the park. Viola is like an oddly long and skinny golden retriever; sometimes her fur renders and sometimes it doesn't.

nooo... THIS is what the house interiors in dragon valley look like???? They didn't include a stove that looks like a wood-burning hearth or a fridge that looks like a cupboard or a tv that looks like. uh. ... a puppet theater maybe? come on
There are other store towns that have an architectural style they're going for, roaring heights has art deco, midnight hollow has victorian, lucky palms has midcentury modern - and they all represent those architectural styles well within the framework of the game, even for the cheap starter houses. Dragon Vallley should be doing gothic and tudor, maybe some art nouveau by way of Rivendell, but it's making zero effort to do any of that. what happened lol
I've never had any luck playing an architect sim but I'm gonna have to give it another shot so I can totally redesign this town. Even though I already have a project lol.

now that I fixed my computer my current sims project is building a future city save using midnight hollow as a base. lots of robots.
Fossilized Olive Leaves Found on Santorini, Greece
Fossilized olive leaves from a tree that was alive 60,000 years ago on the island of Thira (the modern Santorini) are immortalized in the volcanic ash that encased them after an eruption.
The exquisite fossils were discovered at an old pumice quarry on the outskirts of Thira, a town on Santorini; in addition, three new plant fossil sites were also located in abandoned quarries nearby on the island, which was almost completely destroyed in a later eruption that occurred in the year 1650 BC.
Blowing apart the island that at that time was called Thira by its Minoan inhabitants, all that was left was a rim of land encircling a caldera; now known as Santorini, the crescent-shaped island marks one of the most cataclysmic eruptions that has ever taken place within recorded history.
The fossilized olive leaves are now exhibited at the Museum of Prehistoric Thera in the capital Fira on Santorini.
hey look at this crazy night sky carpet I made in the sims with the tile floor patterns and a bunch of carefully color-matched small area rugs
