So here’s a little story behind this design
I'm living in Vietnam right now, which means every three months I have to do a border run. My latest trip to Laos was four hours on the road, and while sitting on that ride I couldn’t stop thinking about my Halloween collection. I had already drawn tons of pumpkins… but I wanted something more special.
Somewhere along that long ride, it clicked — a monster party! I imagined all the classic Halloween icons — a mummy, a werewolf, a vampire, the Bride of Frankenstein — but with a retro 80s party twist. The idea felt so alive that the very next day I sketched them all out.
This print is one of those characters — the Bride of Frankenstein herself. I loved how she turned out so much that I couldn’t just keep her as part of a pattern. She deserved her own spotlight. I added the lightning strike, the bold retro vibe, and the text Monster Crush. It felt fun, original, and a little bit badass.
Now she’s available in my Redbubble shop on tees, hoodies, and more. And if you ever want a custom design, my DMs are open. 💀⚡🎃
TL;DR: On a border run I came up with the idea of a retro monster party. Drew the Bride of Frankenstein, added lightning + Monster Crush, and now she’s one of my favorite designs. Available on tees and hoodies (link in bio). ⚡🎃
