Time flies, right? If I look back at the day I started to like you, it feels like it was yesterday, although years have passed. I can’t express how much I love you, you’ve made me smile when I was through tough moments, you’ve helped me a lot just by being yourself. I hope you still have my letter and portrait, this time I wasn’t able to draw anything to -at least- post online (I’ve been really busy).

Statement

Since Kris Wu’s return to China, there has been much attention focused onto his relationship and obligations with his former company SM Entertainment. Our current statement is as follows:

As of today, Kris Wu and SM Entertainment’s contract dispute has officially concluded. From today onwards, Kris Wu will have global independence (excluding Korea and Japan) to have the full rights of freedom to carry out acting jobs, and self-entrustment of such activities to third-party management.

Kris Wu Studio will hereby represent Kris Wu in thanking the media and all persons for their support and for keeping up with the related news. He is especially thankful to fans for their many years of strong support and love. In the time to come, Kris Wu will be repaying everyone’s anticipation with even more, even better works.

Kris vents his frustration at the false rumors concerning his family

Scandal after scandal seems to be tailing.

Kris was recently enveloped in rumors of allegedly being caught in bed with a woman claiming to be his ex-girlfriend (1); now, the singer's past, particularly concerning his family, was dug up by the Chinese media, and the Korean media was quick to report on it as well.

According to recent Chinese media outlet reports, Kris's parents divorced when he was young, and Kris was raised by his mother. Little was known about Kris's father, that is until now.

Allegedly, Kris's father graduated from Tsinghua University, and currently, he is employed as a section chief at a branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. However, these rumors were quickly quelled when the Chinese Academy of Sciences made an official announcement through social media that the branch did not exist. As it so turned out, the rumors were unfounded.

Kris, upon discovering that false rumors were being spread about his family, vented on social media, "No one should cross the line. I don't care what you may do to me. Just don't cross the line with my family."

(1) Those ex gf rumours are fake, the guy in the picture is a cosplayer that likes to cosplay as Kris and Tao. He said he was sorry about it and asked for forgiveness. Pictures of WYF smoking and drunk are also fake, it is not him the guy in the pictures and the audios buying a plane ticket for his gf to Canada were edited too. Legal actions have been taken against those who took part in those lies.

To the people trying to get info about Kris’ father

STOP.

Stop trying to get information about his family, stop messaging his friends and family, stop harassing them. LET HIM BREATH. If he says he doesn’t have a father, then he doesn’t have one, if he says he doesn’t want to talk about his family, respect it. He’s the guy you’re supporting, you’re not fan of his family (stop bothering and spamming his relatives), just focus on the work he’s doing and respect his privacy. He’s human. He has the right to live his life like he wants. He has the right to say he doesn’t have a father. Being a father is not only about getting someone pregnant, a father is the one that’s there for everything, educates you, helps you to grow as a human being. A father is that person that loves you since your first heartbeat (and he doesn't have to share blood with you -I mean, he doesn’t have to be your biological father-). If he wasn’t there, he doesn’t deserve being called a father. Even if Kris knows who he is, if he wasn’t there for him and his mother, if he only made them suffer, he’s nothing. You shouldn’t care about him, because he (Kris) clearly doesn’t care. Leave his family alone. 

Stop trying to destroy his career.  He doesn’t deserve this.
